Stampin' Up!- 'Stylized Birthday'
Wow- today is simple Sunday!!! This is a clean & simple card- yet I really like it!
This is a quick card that I mass produced this past week to send out. I used the new Petals & Paisleys Designer Paper, along with the coordinating 3/8" Ribbon Trio Pack (Rich Razzleberry). This new designer paper is really pretty & has a lot of variety in designs & colors.
And I really like the font used in this single stamp "Stylized Birthday"!!
stamp set: 'Stylized Birthday'
card stock: Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede
designer paper: Petals & Paisleys DSP (12x12)
ink: Rich Razzleberry
other: 3/8" Ribbon Trio Pack (Rich Razzleberry), Dimensionals, Glue Dot
Yesterday Brayden & Masen were here in the morning with me, while Nathan & Sarah were getting everything all packed up & the race car ready to head out for their weekend of camping & racing. The Seeley family is joining them. They are all headed out to Deer Creek, Minnesota. When they left I spent the rest of my day sorting orders & getting caught up on bookwork (both stamping & farming). I made a couple of cards last night too.
Makenzy & Scott were here most of the day yesterday & got the front of our house all ready for Ben to come brick it next week. I can't wait until it is done! I hope I like the brick color & everything when it is finished.
This morning I hope to get some stamping done, while Deke catches up on the farm!! And then this afternoon/evening we are headed up to Cresco to the races!! The Wood Family & the Seeley Family will both meet us there. Hope Nathan has good luck!
I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up!- Halloween
Woo Hoo! Here is a photo of 5 "fun fold cards" that I created for my upcoming Halloween Treats Class!!
There is alot of new Holiday Catalog products used in these cards. I hope to get the rest of the treats for this class created today & tomorrow.
Yesterday was a beautiful day out! We had fun playing outside & enjoying it. Last night I worked on bookwork.
I am home all day today! Nathan is racing in Minnesota again tonight, so his family & the Seeley family will all be going up there for the weekend. Deke & I will be home alone. I plan to work on bookwork all morning & stamp all afternoon/evening!
Our siding on the bottom part of our house is rotten & we have been getting things ready to replace it with brick. When we built our house 23 years ago we put a brick ledge down with the speculation that we'd brick it all someday. Well, we are only going to brick the bottom half of it. So Deke has been working on removing the old, cutting the cement & getting things ready for our carpenter to come. He is suppose to be here today! And then our brick layer will be here next Wednesday. I can't wait until it is done. We are both tired of the mess outside. And we're anxious to see how different it will look.
I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!!
Happy Stamping!!

Yesterday we were on the go. The boys had a good check-up from Dr. Mary! They are now all set to start pre-school next Wednesday! We got home mid afternoon. I worked on placing orders & doing bookwork.
Last night the guys all went racing in Minnesota for an Iron Man (USRA) race. Nathan got 5th in his heat & 8th in the main. There was a large field of cars there, so he did good.
Since the guys were gone- Manda, Sarah & I took the boys & went to the park to play! We picked up a Casey's Pizza & ate supper together in the shelter there too. The weather was perfect & the boys all had a great time! They played hard, so they should have all slept good last night. When I got home I did a little more bookwork, picked up toys, etc.....and finally called it a night. I had hoped to get to stamp, but that didn't quite happen.
This morning I'm off to pick up the boys for the day. Tonight when they all go home I plan to spend my night stamping!
I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!

Here is another one of the cards I created for my upcoming Halloween Treats Class, that is a fun fold. This is a tent fold card.
Check out the adorable little vampire! This little guy is from the stamp set- 'Cookie Cutter Halloween'. I love how the new Cookie Cutter Builder Punch coordinates with it, so you can just punch out the vampires- verses having to fussy cut him out.
AND there is alot of other new products from the Holiday Catalog that I used here!
stamp sets: 'Cookie Cutter Halloween' , 'Ghoulish Grunge', 'Halloween Scares' & 'Suite Seasons'
card stock: Basic Black, Real Red, Basic Gray

other: 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, Basic Rhinestone (door knob- colored it with a silver sharpie marker), Dimensionals, Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Home Sweet Home Thinlits (coffin door)
Yesterday was a long day & a late night.
Brayden did great at his football game. And Nathan won his heat & the stock car main again!!
This morning I'm off to spend the day with Manda. We are taking the boys to see Dr. Mary, as the twins have their 5 year old check ups & physicals for pre-school. Tonight when I get home I 'll be burning the midnight oil stamping! I have lots I hope to accomplish!

Yesterday was a busy day filled with boys! It rained on & off- so we didn't get to go outside to play.
When the boys left I went out to help Deke on the farm- sort & load hogs. We got soaked. It was hot, muggy & raining- not fun! When we got in, we quickly showered & headed to our annual Farm Bureau meeting/supper. When we got home I answered emails from the day & called it a day. We were both beat.

Yesterday was a fun day with the boys celebrating the twins 5th birthday! Birthday hats, blow horns, streamers hanging in the doorways, Grandma's Crispix Cakes & all! They were excited & had a fun day! Brayden was here after school too- so they all enjoyed getting to play outside together.
When the boys went home last night I did a little bit of bookwork & called it a night. I wasn't feeling very well & just really needed to go to bed.
I'm up early this morning to go pick up all of my boys & take Brayden to school. We didn't make it to the park yesterday to play (due to the rain), so we might make it there today, depending on the weather. Tonight we have a Farm Bureau supper/meeting that we'll be attending.
I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!

"Happy 5th Birthday" to Brody & Drake!!
Today is Brody & Drake's 5th birthday!! Oh my gosh......I so remember the day they were born. It sure doesn't seem like it has been 5 years. They are such a blessing in our lives! It has been fun getting to spend time with them as they grow up. In a couple of weeks they will start pre-school. That will be a big change for all of us. One that I think we are all ready for too.
Here is their birthday invite that Manda & I made for them. They both picked a different theme for their birthday this year, but we got them talked in to both agreeing on Angry Birds.......so it was cute & fun!
Yesterday afternoon I worked on stamping stuff. I can't see where I made a dent on my list though. I'm just so far behind.
This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting. I'm off early to get my walk in & head in to pick up the boys, as Manda has an early meeting before school today.
The boys have been wanting to go to What Cheer to play in the park. If they are good & the weather is ok we might do that this morning.
I have their birthday banner & streamers up! And I have all of the stuff out to get their crispix birthday cakes made too. They wanted to help me make them- so we'll see how that goes.
Tonight when the boys go home I'll be burning the midnight oil stamping! Deke has another meeting tonight in Fairfield- so he won't be home.
Gotta run.....
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!

Manda & the 3 boys came too & they played on the swing & outside.....while we worked with the pigs. Yesterday afternoon I worked on stamping stuff. I can't see where I made a dent on my list though. Stampin' Up!- Angry Bird Spinner cards!
Oh gosh......check out the Angry Bird spinner cards that I made for the twins for their birthday!! They spin great!! The hardest part was probably figuring out & cutting all of the little pieces to make a tiny Angry Bird.
I think he turned out cute! And it was so easy to make the spinner part using the new Sliding Star Framelits.
stamp set: 'Birthday Fiesta' (words)
card stock: Real Red, Basic Black, Crushed Curry
designer paper: Brights Designer Series Paper Stack (12x12)
ink: Black Memento pad
other: Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Sliding Star Framelits, Regals Enamel Dots, Foam Adhesive Strips, Dimensionals, 1 3/4" Circle Punch (for the DSP), 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Blossom Punch, Owl Punch
I used 2 penny's with a dimensional in between them to make the spinner. I then used another dimensional to attach the little Angry Bird onto the penny.
What did I use to make the Angry Bird?

Stampin' Up!- Another spooky haunted house!
Oh my......I have another upcoming Holiday Catalog sneak peek for you. Check out this spooky haunted house Halloween card. I think I got a little carried away with layering & cutting things out on this card. But boy is it adorable in person!
How did I make the house?
#1. I lightly stamped house image on the back side of the gray brick image designer paper, (which is this gray & black dsp that has these little haunted houses on it- as shown in the photo), using the Black Memento ink pad. I just needed the image to lightly be there so that I could cut along the outside lines of the house.
#2. I then used my paper snips & cut out the house, along the outside edge line.
#3. I attached the house to my card stock, stamped the roof & then started adding the other images- door, window, bats, etc.....
The stamp set I used is the 'Sweet Home' set, plus I used the coordinating thinlits that go with it called- Home Sweet Home- page 40 in the Holiday Catalog. Oh I love it when Stampin' Up! has things that coordinate together like this!
I used the new Halloween Night Pumpkin Pie Enamel Dot for the door knob.
For the layered banner- I stamped the outline stamp of the banner onto white card stock using the Black Memento ink pad. I then stamped the Trick or Treat words in the center of that banner, using Pumpkin Pie ink. This isn't hard to do, as the stamp set is photopolymer. I then cut the flagged ends of the banner off with my paper snips & layered that center part of the banner onto a solid Pumpkin Pie banner that I cut out. I wanted to give the words more dimension & make them 'pop' by layering them with 2 different colors like this.
stamp sets: 'Sweet Home' & 'Jar of Haunts' (the words)
card stock: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight
designer paper: Halloween Night Specialty DSP
ink: Black Memento, Pumpkin Pie
other: Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Precision Plate, Home Sweet Home Thinlits, Paper Snips, Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Halloween Night Baker's Twine, Dimensionals, Glue Dots
This is how I made the tag. I cut a piece of card stock 1 1/4" x 3" & then cut the words "to eat" off the bottom of it.
NOTE: Usually you cut the card stock at 2" wide to fit exactly into the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.....mine is narrow. I just centered it in the middle- like shown below in the photo & it worked perfectly!
See here how I slid the card stock into the center of the punch.

Yesterday was a busy day with boys! They went with Deke & I to Osky to the bank in the morning for an appointment we had over there. We played outside in the afternoon & stopped to get an ice cream cone at Walkers on our way back to their house about 4:30. I ran errands for Deke in town & then went back to Osky to get groceries & things for the boys birthday party!! It was late when I got home, got the car unloaded & everything put away. And then made Deke supper when he got in & finally called it a night.
This morning I have lots to do to help finish getting ready for the twins' birthday party that is tonight at the Seeley's home. I need to make their cards, wrap their gifts.....and I'm making marinated tenderized ham steaks, cheesy potatoes & need to cut up the watermelon to take to the party too. We are grilling out! Hoping the rain holds off at least during the party. I know the boys are excited! I can't believe that they will be 5 in a few days! Wow- where does time go?
Gotta run.....
I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!!

Yesterday was a busy day with the boys. School got out early, so Brayden was here to play with the boys all afternoon too. We spent several hours outside, enjoying the beautiful weather.
When the 3 Seeley boys went home Brayden & I went to Tom's & bought a used bike for him to ride here on the farm. Tom has tons of bicycles & Brayden was just amazed.
The guys were all racing last night. Nathan won his heat & finished 6th in the main at Webster City. After Brayden went to bed, I burnt the midnight oil stamping!
This morning I'm off early to pick up the boys & we'll take Brayden to school. Tonight I'll be burning the midnight oil stamping......hoping to have good mojo in creating more projects for my upcoming Halloween Treats classes.
I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!

+++++++
Yesterday was a busy day with boys! We then went to Brayden's first flag football game. He played great & made a touchdown! He sure is a fast runner. When we got home from there we worked outside late on the farm with the piggies, selling a load of them.
This morning I'm off early to pick up the boys. Deke is off early to chore & head to a meeting in Ottumwa. Tonight the guys are going racing & Brayden will be spending the night with Grandma! I'm not sure what we'll do....but looking forward to our evening together.
I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!
