Waterside Retreat DSP Fish

Here is another neat masculine card.

I made this a Father's Day card, 

but you could change the words for whatever occasion you are needing.

 

I used the

 167920- WATERSIDE RETREAT 12" X 12" DSP= $13.00 

Check out the fish.

As I fussy cut the fish out of the DSP using Scissors.

card stock:

• Azure Afternoon- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2" & fold in half for card base
• Blueberry Bushel- 3 1/4 x 3 1/4"
• Blueberry Bushel- 1 x 4 1/2"
• Basic White- 1" strip- stamp words & punch out using the Three Banner Punch
• Basic White- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"- for inside of card

designer paper:  Waterside Retreat DSP-

• 2 x 5"- water waves
• 3 x 3"- fish swimming 
• fish cut with scissors from DSP 

ink:  Blueberry Bushel

I totally love this card.

This is a totally Susie card.

 

Notice how I cut the center out of the DSP & popped it up using the

Waterside Retreat Fishing Card

Today's card is a fun masculine one using the

  #167920- WATERSIDE RETREAT 12" X 12" DSP= $13.00

 

This awesome DSP is the focal for this card! 

Notice how I fussy cut out the paddle & the life vest & popped them up on the card. 

This is a z fold card & looks like this when it is standing up! 

I love showing off both side of the dsp!

 

HOW DID I DO THIS? 

For this card I cut a piece of dsp measuring 3 3/4 x 4".

I then cut it into 1" strips.

I adhered the DSP strips to a 4 x 4 1/2" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.

When I got to the 3rd strip I just flipped it over to show off the waves instead of the fish.

• Misty Moonlight- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 2 1/8" & 4 1/4" & z fold for card base
• Misty Moonlight- 1/4 x 2 3/4"

• Basic White- 1" strip- stamp words onto & punch out with Three Banner Punch
• Basic White- 4 x 4"- for inside of card

I chose to do traditional red, white & blue, along with stars for my theme.

Waterside Retreat Double Vision Card

Here is another SUPER CUTE card using the amazing

 #167920- WATERSIDE RETREAT 12" X 12" DSP= $13.00

 

Look closely at what I did using the DSP scene.

 

HOW DID I DO IT? 

This is a 3 1/2 x 4 3/4" strip.

I cut it into 3/4" strips all across & kept them in the correct sequence so that

the image would remain true to what it was suppose to look like.

The Technique I did here is called- DOUBLE VISION!

Notice how I started from the left side & adhered the first strip

directly down onto the card stock.

I then used 3 dimensionals on the back side of the next strip to pop it up

& adhered this right beside the first strip.

I did this alternating of strips all the way across

going down, up, down, up , down & up! 

I hope you aren't getting tired of this DSP yet!

As I still have more to share in the coming days using it.
