Here is a fun card using some NEW products. 

It is kinda making me think of Fall (my favorite time of the year).

This is a Z fold card & looks like this when it is standing up! 

Notice how I embossed the Two-Toned Crumb Cake card stock using the 

Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder 

& then lightly sanded it so that the white would show thru.

How did I do it?

I adhered the Greenery Lane Washi Tape directly to a piece of 3 1/2 x 4 3/4" Basic White cardstock. 

And then I adhered this to Pretty Peacock card stock & then the Lost Lagoon card base.

Delciate Dreams Pull Out Accordion Fun Fold

Notice how I die cut the 'window' in the card front using the 

#166974- Beautifully Celebrated Dies- $35.00 Online Exclusive

The card looks like this when it is standing up.

This is what the inside accordion fold looks when the card is pulled out.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:  

When die cutting the front- only adhere the DSP to the top, left side & bottom.

DO NOT ADHERE Adhesive to the inside of or center edge of the DSP-

as you DO NOT want it to be adhered to your card front- 

you want that piece to die cut out when you cut the label. 

 

Here are the supplies & measurements-

stamp set:  'Paradise Garden' (words on card front); 'Sending Salutations' (words on inside of card)

card stock:

• Hydrangea Hue- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold for card base, you will adhere the DSP to the outside edges of the card front & die cut label out of the center of the card front.
• Hydrangea Hue- 1" strip- die cut flowers
• Crumb Cake- 4 1/4" strip- die cut label
• Basic White- 2 3/4" strip- die cut label & stamp words onto
• Basic White- 5 1/4 x 8"- score at 2", 4" & 6"- fold on scored lines & adhere as shown in the photos above.  NOTE that you only adhere adhesive to the back side of the right Z & center inside of card.  They add adhesive to the left front side of the Z & this will adhere only to the left side of the card front.  The Z fold lays completely flat when the card is shut.

Simple Saturday with Black & White flowers

It is Simple Saturday.....

Today I'm sharing another simple Black & White card.

As you all know that I love them!

This DSP is just totally amazing

#167752- Artisan Sketched Garden DSP- $13.00  

How did I do it?

I let the designer paper do all of the work for me....... 

*2- different 3x3" DSP squares

*Fussy cut the flowers/vase using scissors & added Wink of Stella to the flowers

*Punched out 2 3/8" Circle 

*Popped flowers/vase up onto the Circle

card stock:

• Thick Basic White- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold in half for card base
• Basic Black- 2 3/4" strip- punch out using 2 3/8" Circle Punch

• 3 x 3"- dots
• 3 x 3"- stripes

A Stitched Season Star Block

I love the way this card turned out.

It is a totally Susie card.

 

I made it using the

I just love this DSP! 

Notice how I die cut the square out using the 

#159183- Stylish Shapes Dies= $30.00

And if you look closely you can see the little star I die cut under the button 

using Cherry Cobbler card stock.

• Cherry Cobbler-  1" strip- die cut stitched star (that I adhered underneath the button)

A Stitched Season Weaved Cards

 

Check out these 2 cute weaved background cards!

I love the way they turned out!

 

Which do you like better?

THIS- left with Real Red card base

OR

THAT- right with Peaceful Pine card base

 

How did I do it? 

*Cut 11 designer paper strips that are 1/2 x 6"-

6 of them are the green pattern & 5 of them are red pattern

*Add Tear & Tape around the 4 edges of a 4 x 5 1/4" Basic White CS & then put 2 strips down the center as shown in the photo above.

*Put your strips onto the edges like shown in the above photo.

 

* Fold over & attach the 5 strips that are vertical as shown in the photo.

*Then weave the 6 strips- going over & under.

This is what the weaved background looks like.

I adhered one on a Real Red card base & one on a Peaceful Pine card base.

 

This card has the Real Red card base & layering.

Here are the supplies & measurements.

stamp set:  'Stitched Stocking' (words)

card stock:

• Real Red or Peaceful Pine- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold for card base
• Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- add Tear & Tape to the backside of this & adhered DSP strips to weave
• Real Red or Peaceful Pine- 3 1/2" strip- die cut label using Beautifully Celebrated Dies
• Basic White- 3" strip- stamp words onto & die cut label using Beautifully Celebrated Dies
• Real Red- 3" strip- die cut Poinsettia
• Peaceful Pine- 3" strip- die cut leaves for Poinsettia
• Basic White- 1" strip- die cut center of Poinsettia
• Basic White- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"- for inside of card 

designer paper:  A Stitched Season DSP-

• 5 strips of red DSP- each 1/2 x 6"
• 6 strips of green DSP- each 1/2 x 6"
