Christmas Crew Snowman Tile Decor

 

Isn't this snowman just so cute!

He just makes me smile.

 

This is one of the projects that everyone who attended my 

Holiday Extravaganza made. 

 

I stamped this cute snowman onto a tile for a decor.

It will be something I can sit on my shelf & enjoy through the upcoming winter months! 

  

How did I do it?

• I stamped using Memento ink onto the tile.
• I then colored it using my Stampin' Blends.

 

 I have a cork square piece on the back side of this tile.

I WILL NOT use this as a coaster, as I don't want it to get wet.

I will display it on an easel stand & use a a decor.

 

 NOTE:  

Want to make a coaster tile to put your glass onto?

You could do this, but be very careful. 

You CAN lightly seal it using a Rust-Oleum Clear Gloss spray.

But be sure you use a very LIGHT spray & let it dry completely.

You can spray a few times to get a nice coat on it.
BUT know that IF you add too much spray over it, it will run & you'll ruin the stamped image on the tile!

I highly suggest that if you want to make a tile to use to put your glass onto that you use Stazon ink, a simple stamp design & little or no coloring on it.

Winter Adventures Fun Inside Z Fold Card

 

WOW!

Look at this beautiful card. 

This is a winter wonderland!

I am so impressed with this amazing bundle.

This is a totally Susie card.

This card has a fun inside Z Fold "surprise"!

Now isn't this cool!

Check it out when it is standing up!

I put a battery tea light behind the vellum 'windows'.

It is just so pretty when you see it in person!

 

I put adhesive sheets onto the Basic White/Peaceful Pine card stock 

before I die cut the trees & snowflakes.

This made it so much easier to stick them onto the card front & vellum arches.

 

The trees/circle on the card front is an Impressions Die that can cut 

AND then you run it through again to emboss it & add the textural details.

NOTE:  You will need the Impressions Plate to get the deep embossed look with it.

• Basic White-1/2" strip- stamp words onto for card front

NOTE:  IF you have the 2 1/2" Circle Punch it works perfectly for punching out the DSP.  When you use the 2 3/8" Circle Punch there will be alittle space in the bottom left corner that you can hide with die cut tree.

Dreamy Snowflakes Framed Decor

Ohhhhhh- isn't this so pretty!!

This is a totally Susie project....I just love it! 

 

This is one of the projects that everyone who attended my

Holiday Extravaganza got to make!

 

How did I do it?

*Embossed Balmy Blue Two-Toned card stock using the Dreamy Snowflake Embossing Folder

*Using Sanding Blocks lights sand the snowflakes to make them white

*Add the snow across the bottom

*Put into the frame

*Then adhere the snowflake decor to the glass front of the frame using dimensionals.

*I added some blue sequins to the snowflake points/center

*Stamp words & adhere to base of frame as shown using dimensionals.

Stitched Stocking Fun Fold

Oh my....... 

Look at this cute stocking card!

Check out how it stands up!

It is a center easel fun fold card.

 

This is one of the cards that everyone joining me at my

I used the

Look how I used these amazing dies to cut out the stocking, star quilt pattern & stocking top.

 

Notice the center of the button?

I used a permanent Red Sharpie Marker to make this stitched line to make it look like thread. 

 

How did I do it?

Here is how I attached the tabs.

#1- adhere tabs- so that fold is next to the center/score line of the fold 

#2- adhere your holly leaves dsp to both sides

#3- adhere stocking to the white tab tops! 

The card looks like this when it is opened up!

And I love the HO HO HO words that are along the edge!

Pop Up Present Card with Merry Mischief Gnome

 

OH my.....

This little gnome just melts my heart!

This is one of the cards that everyone joining me at my

I used the

 #168283- Merry Mischief stamp set= $25.00

Check out how I made a pop up present on the inside.

I left a slit in the side so that I could slide a gift card (or cash) into it. 

Cool huh!

How did I do it?

I measured in 1" from each edge & with the card folded I  cut down 1"

This make a rectangle.

You pop this rectangle up to form a box as shown in the photo above.

This is what you attach the present base to. 

Here are the supplies & measurements.

stamp set:  

• 'Merry Mischief' (gnome & words on card front & inside)
•  'Words & Wishes' (For You words on present)

card stock:

• Real Red- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2" & fold in half for card base
• Basic White- 3 3/4 x 5"- emboss using Swirls of Magic embossing folder
• Real Red- 2 1/4 x 4 1/2"- layer gnome onto on card front
• Basic White- 2 x 4 1/4"- stamp gnome onto & color with Stampin' Blends
• Basic White- 1/2 x 1 1/2"- stamp words onto for card front
• White Willow- 3 3/4 x 10 1/2"- score at 5 1/4" & fold in half for inside of card.  Make 1" slits as shown above to form pop up part to adhere present to.
• Real Red- 3 x 5"- score in half at 2 1/2" & fold in half.  This is the present base that gets adhered to the pop up part.
• Real Red- 2 1/2 x 3 1/4"- score at 1 1/4" & fold in half.  This is the present top that you slit down over the present base & adhered.  Then add DSP strip to front of it.
• Basic White- 1 1/4" strip- die cut bow
• Basic White- 1/2" strip- stamp words onto & flag end with scissors.  Put onto present as a "For You" tag.
• Basic White- 1 1/2 x 3 1/2"- stamp words on for inside of card & adhere underneath the present.
