Oh My Fright Halloween Treats Box

Here is another CUTE Halloween Treat Box that I made last night.

What do you think? 

I think it turned out really cute!

 

It took me awhile to figure out how I was going to make this.

As the inspiration for this box came from the holiday treat box on 

page 19 in the September-December Catalog.

 

I used these Online Exclusive Products-

#168168- Frightfully Fun DSP= $13.00

#168169- Oh My Fright stamp set= $20.00 

#168175- On My Fright Dies= 33.00 

#168210- Web Of Fun Dies= $38.00 

#168181- Black 3/8" Iridescent Ribbon= $8.50 

I added some Halloween Candy to my box.

I used 

#161354- 2 3/8" Circle Punch

#16462- Everyday Arches Dies= $29.00

#168221- Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders- set of 3 (bats/spiders/dots)= $13.00

#168337- Soiree Salutations stamp set= $18.00 

How did I do it? 

Here is the pattern I made. 

-8 1/2 x 8 1/2" square

-Center onto Simply Scored Tool at the 6" mark at top & bottom points

-Score 3" & 9" 

-Rotate & center again at 6" mark at top & bottom points

-score at 2", 4 5/8" & 8 1/2"

-now put this in corner & score bottom flap of box at 7/8" on both sides as shown in photo

-now "CUT OUT" the ink pen scribble marks

-Now fold on lines & adhere box together.

These ghosts just make me smile!

For Envelope-  

• Pumpkin Pie- 8 1/2 x 8 1/2"- make envelope
• Vellum- punch out circle using 2 3/8" Circle Punch
• Smoky Slate- stamp words & punch out 1 3/4" Circle Punch
• Basic White- 2" strip- die cut ghosts
• Willow White- 4" strip- die cut spider web
• Frightfully Fun DSP-  

                 *2 3/8 x 5 3/4"- angle cut for bottom

                 *2 x 3 5/8" (x2)- angle cut for sides

For suckers-

• Basic Black or Pumpkin Pie- 4 1/4" strip- die cut Arched Die
• Basic White- 1" strip- stamp words onto & punch out using Three Banner Punch
• Frightfully Fun DSP- 2 3/4" strip- punch out 2 3/8" Circle Punch

Trick or Treat Frightfully Fun Box

Check is a CUTE Trick or Treat box!

Everyone that joined me this month for my Annual Halloween Treats Classes got to make this box.

 

I used these Online Exclusive Products-

#168168- Frightfully Fun DSP= $13.00

#168210- Web Of Fun Dies= $38.00 

#168169- Oh My Fright stamp set= $20.00

#168180- Adhesive-Backed Bats Ghosts & Dots= $9.00 

I used Basic Black Two-Toned card stock for the box.

Notice how the front flap is folded down & it is a lighter black.

I added strips of DSP along the box top & bottom.

The spider web & spider are the focal point & "star of the show"!

Cute huh! 

 

NOTE:  I did put the spider onto a wobble.

So that means the spider moves when it is touched.

This wobble isn't a Stampin' Up! product. 

Here is the pattern I used to make my box.

*8x12" Two-Toned Basic Black card stock

*score at 1", 5 1/2", 6 1/2"& 11" along long side.

*turn & score along the short side at 1" & 7"

*cut along the 4 slits at the bottom of box

• Two-Toned Basic Black- 8 x 12"- score & cut 
• Basic Black- 2" strip die cut spider
• Pumpkin Pie- 4" strip- die cut label & stamp words onto

• 1/2 x 12" (x2)

Oh My Frights Halloween Treat box

 

Here is an adorable Halloween Treat box that everyone made at my

Halloween Treats Classes this month.

Isn't it cute!

It is fun a simple box that you can make & then add your favorite treat inside to give at Halloween. 

 

I used these Online Exclusive products-

#168175- Oh My Fright Dies= $33.00

#168204- Web of Fun stamp set= $21.00

#168221- Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders- set of 3 (bats/dots)= $13.--

This is what the box looks like when it is assembled.

Notice how I just used a paper clip/ribbon to close it. 

 

Here is the pattern on how to make this box-

*8 1/2 x 11"cardstock

* score at 2 1/2" & 6" (on short side)

*score  4 1/2 & 6 1/2" (on long side)

*angle score from corner to outside edge as show on all 4 center corners

*fold & adhere

• Timid Tiger- 8 1/2 x 11"- score & fold according to pattern I have shown above
• Basic Black- 4" strip- die cut tree

• Smoky Slate- 3 x 4"- emboss using Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folder (bats & dots)
• Daffodil Delight- 2" strip- die cut moon

This is another gorgeous card I made using the NEW Hot Foil System.

WOW- check out these gold words.

And notice how this DSP goes perfectly with the Gold Foil.

I just added a black dimensional behind his face when sticking him to the ghost layer on the backside.
