Waterside Retreat Double Vision Card

Here is another SUPER CUTE card using the amazing

 #167920- WATERSIDE RETREAT 12" X 12" DSP= $13.00

 

Look closely at what I did using the DSP scene.

 

HOW DID I DO IT? 

This is a 3 1/2 x 4 3/4" strip.

I cut it into 3/4" strips all across & kept them in the correct sequence so that

the image would remain true to what it was suppose to look like.

The Technique I did here is called- DOUBLE VISION!

Notice how I started from the left side & adhered the first strip

directly down onto the card stock.

I then used 3 dimensionals on the back side of the next strip to pop it up

& adhered this right beside the first strip.

I did this alternating of strips all the way across

going down, up, down, up , down & up! 

I hope you aren't getting tired of this DSP yet!

As I still have more to share in the coming days using it.

card stock:

• Lost Lagoon 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2" & fold in half for card base
• Peaceful Pine- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"
• Basic White- 1" strip- stamp words onto & fussy cut around them using scissors 
• Basic White- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"- for inside of card

• 3 1/4 x 4 1/2"- Scene is cut into 3/4" strips (x6) 
• 3 x 4"- stripes

Simple Saturday using Waterside Retreat DSP

Check out today's SIMPLE SATURDAY card.

Again- I used the amazing 

  #167920- WATERSIDE RETREAT 12" X 12" DSP= $13.00

This piece of DSP is 4 x 5 1/4".

I used the

#165775- Branching Out Dies= $29.00= $26.10- LAST CHANCE LIST 

I layered the dies like shown in the photo above & then cut them all at one time. 

 

 Now isn't this just a stunning card!

I love the way it turned out!!

And this is a great card that could be used for many different occasions! 

You could change up the words & make this a great sympathy card too!

I like the sailboats in the beach umbrella's, the canal & the trees.

Waterside Retreat Card

 

This is a SIMPLE yet great guy card!!

I let the DSP do all of the work for me.

Isn't it neat! 

Check out the paddle & the life vest- as I fussy cut both of them directly out of the DSP.

 

I used the 

#167920- WATERSIDE RETREAT 12" X 12" DSP= $13.00

This is the DSP sheet that I cut the boat dock/water image I used on this card front from.

Cool huh! 

 *I will be sharing other cards soon using other pieces from the DSP sheet soon.

I stamp the words onto a piece of Basic White card stock using a Pool Party ink pad.

And then used the NEW Rounded Rectangle Punch to get the rounded corners.

I cut the straight edge using my scissors.

Cards Banner!

 

Sarah asked me to make a banner for Brayden's graduation party.

She hung it on the large metal tub sitting inside the door for everyone

to place their cards into that they brought for him.

Swirled Designs Star Graduation Card

 Here is the graduation card that I made for Brayden!

WOW how time flies.

I can't believe that he has now graduated.

We are so proud of him & all of his accomplishments.

He is a wonderful young man & I have no doubt he will succeed 

in whatever he does in his life!

He will be attending Ames (Iowa State) this fall for Ag Engineering.

We have had a great week/month & have loved the crazy business of it 

as we are about to close this 2025-2026 School year.  

Brayden graduated on Saturday night, his party was on Sunday & the 

other kids all get out of school for this year on Thursday!

 

We've had many baseball games, lots of track meets, races, graduation, parties & more!

The twins ran at State Track last Saturday, 5/8 & did well. 

And Brayden made it to state for track too- 

so we will be going there this week on Friday, 5/25 to watch him run.

 

We are so thankful, grateful & blessed we live so close to our kids/grandkids 

& don't miss much that they are involved in.
