'Cheers to the Year'

Here is a clean & simple snowflake card!  Isn't it pretty!!  I love how the Foil Snowflake looks layered behind the circle snowflake.
Look closely & you'll see the Winter Wonderland Embossing Folder behind the Foil Snowflake too!

And this Year of Cheer Specialty DSP has pretty foil fold & silver snowflakes in it.  It is just gorgeous in person!

I used the Soft Suede ink pad here......and think it looks great with the Gold Foil Snowflake- don't you?

stamp set:  'Cheers to the Year'
card stock: Thick Whisper White, Whisper White
designer paper:  Year of Cheery Specialty
ink:  Soft Suede
other:  Big Shot, Standard Platform, Winter Wonderland Embossing Folder, Foil Snowflake, Banner Triple Punch, 1/8" Gold Ribbon, Dimensional, Glue Dot, 1 3/4" Circle Punch
Yesterday was a busy day with kids, then I spent my night cutting card stock.  I have lots to get done before my calendar class this Sunday with my N. Liberty group!  My calendars turned out cute!!  I can't wait for you to see them.  I'll start posting them sometime in the next week or so.

This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to Ottumwa for 2 meetings he has down there today.  I'm off to run my routine with my kids!!  Tonight Masen & Ainslee will be here late, as Nathan & Brayden have BB practice again.  When they leave I'll be spending my night cutting card stock again!

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!!!

'Night of Bethlehem'

Here is an Eclipse card.  This is a clean, simple & pretty Christmas card.  And I used the beautiful 'Night of Bethlehem' bundle!

Check out how I popped up Mary & Joseph, riding the donkey.  I slid them over to the right a little bit, to show the Black Card stock layer under them, thus creating an Eclipse look.

You can see a couple other Eclipse cards I have previously posted by clicking on these links.
Joy Eclipse card
Cat Punch card
I sponged the sky here, using a rectangle mask that I cut out of card stock.  I then stamped the villages, words & the stars, using the Archival Basic Gray ink.

And of course I had to add some bling!  I cut the star out of the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper.  And I added some sparkly rhinestones over some of the stars.

stamp set: 'Night of Bethlehem'
card stock:  Bermuda Bay, Basic Black, Whisper White, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer
ink:  Bermuda Bay, Archival Basic Black, Archival Basic Gray
other:  Big Shot, Bethlehem Edgelits Dies, Magnetic Platform, Rhinestones, Sponge, Dimensionals

Yesterday was a busy day!  I am grateful that my mom & aunt Virginia came down to help me out with the kids, so I could go help Deke on the farm with our new little piggies.  The boys even decided they wanted to stay in the house with great grandma too.  So it sure made things go much quicker for us outside, with the piggies.

Last night I worked on stamping stuff!!!

This morning we are off!!  Deke will chore & then head to the office at the courthouse for the morning.  I'm off to get the boys & take the twins to school.  I have some errands I need to run while I'm in town.  I'll then be spending my day with the 3 little ones.  And tonight I'll be stamping again!!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!!

A Pizza Box with Quilted Christmas!

This Pizza box has (3)- 3"x3" cards in it, along with the coordinating 3x3 envelopes!  I used the Quilted Christmas DSP to decorate the box & the cards inside of it.

This was one of my Holiday Extravaganza projects for my class last month! I had it all bagged up for them to take home as their "take home make & take"!
Here are the 3 cute cards!!  I used the Stitched Felt Embellishments as the accent on each one of them, which are so pretty!
Here is the Holly & Berry one!
Here is the Christmas Tree one!
And here is the Star one!
Check out the words I used on the inside of each of them!

They are all super CUTE huh!!!

Which one is your favorite?

stamp set: 'Hang Your Stocking'- Annual Catalog- pg. 121
card stock:  Real Red, Garden Green, Whisper White
designer paper:  Quilted Christmas 6x6 stack
ink:  Real Red
other:  Pizza Box, 3x3 Envelopes, Stitched Felt Embellishments, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Real Red 1/8" Solid Ribbon, Paper Snips to flag the little banners
Yesterday was a busy day with all 6 kids here.  We built forts, did lots of coloring, drawing, pasting & taping!  I think I should buy stock in scotch tape.  They like it about as much as I like dimensionals.

Last night when everyone was gone I placed orders & did stamp bookwork.

This morning I'm off early to go pick up Brayden, we'll go to the Seeley's.  I'll get the boys ready, feed them all & take the 3 big boys to school. I'll then bring Trey home with me & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Masen & Ainslee will get to our house about 7:30 & Deke will stay with them until I get home about 8:20.  He'll chore before they get there & then go back out to work on the farm when I get home.  I am thankful he can help me out by doing this today!

Then my mom is coming down later today to help me with the kids.  We get baby piggies this later this morning.  (We were originally suppose to get them yesterday, but that got changed on the other end for us.) So I'll take the 2 little boys outside with me & my mom can stay in with Ainslee until we get done.

Tonight I'll be a stamping fool!!!  I still have 3 more months to create for my calendar classes.  And then I have LOTS & LOTS of cutting to get done.

Gotta run.....
I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Check out the Perfect White Accents that I colored with the Light Old Olive Stampin' Blend too!
Clean, simple & cute!!  I think this little guy turned out super cute!

We had a busy weekend!!  How blessed we are!  Here is a fun picture of the kids visiting Santa.
Image may contain: 7 people, people smiling, people sitting
Trey, Santa, Drake, Masen, Brayden & Brody

Look at these smiles!!  Everyone was super excited about seeing Santa, except for Masen.....he didn't want to get too close.  And Ainslee was asleep, so she missed out on being in the picture with all of the boys!

WOW- there is no school today!  And all 6 kids will be here all day!!  Now for me to see how creative I can be in figuring out things to keep them busy!

Originally we were suppose to get baby piggies in today, but that plan got changed last tomorrow is now going to be baby piggy day!

Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting & then back home to work on the farm the rest of the day.

Gotta run......I am off to pick up kids!
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!
Happy Stamping!

'Good Tidings'

Here is a pretty card that is a traditional one.  It has- Green, Red, Music & Holly leaves!!

This is another one of the cards I created for my Holiday Extravaganza last month.
stamp set:  'Good Tidings'
card stock:  Tranquil Tide, Real Red, Whisper White
designer paper:  Merry Music Special DSP
inks:  Tranquil Tide, Real Red
other:  Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Layering Square Framelits, Stitched Square Framelits, Tranquil Tide ribbon, Dimensionals, Glue Dot

This is a 2 step stamp set.  So I shadow stamped the holly leaves, using the Tranquil Tide as the only green ink.  On the more solid image part of the leaf I inked it, stamped it onto my grid paper & then stamped it onto the music DSP.  On the other stamp I stamped it full strength using the Tranquil Tide ink again.
Yesterday was a busy day with all 6 grandkids here.  We enjoyed a nice evening together with Deke's family celebrating his parents 50th Wedding Anniversary!  Afterwards, on our way home, we took the kids through the drive through Christmas Lights in Ottumwa.  And stopped in to see Santa Claus too!  And our night ended with a slumber party on our family room floor!!

Today will be another busy day with all of the kids here.

I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!

We have a super busy day today!!  Nathan is getting honored in Omaha, Nebraska tonight for National Stock Car ranking.  We had originally hoped to get to go, but things kind of got changed.  So now Deke & I are staying home & we are keeping all 6 of our grandkids this weekend.  Nathan, Sarah, Manda & Steve are all going to the banquet in Omaha.  And then the 6 kids & us are going to Deke's parents 50th Wedding anniversary supper/party tonight in Ottumwa.

Basket of Pumpkins

This pumpkin basket is a flat pop up card.  It is one of my Holiday Extravaganza class projects that I did the end of October.  Didn't it turn out to be a super cute fall card.

I fussy cut out the pumpkins from the Painted Autumn designer paper.
Here is what it looks like from the side view when it is standing up.

When it lays flat it fits perfectly into our medium envelope & is a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" size.
I added a 4x4" white piece of card stock to the back side of it for the words & signature area.
The pumpkins are sitting in the basket from the 'Basket of Wishes' stamp set.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you & your family!!!  Wishing you all many blessings on this special day!!
Here is a pretty fall shaker card that was one of my October monthly class cards.

Check out the gold sequins that are behind the window sheet- that is behind the leaf cut out!
Here is a closer look at the baby wipe technique I did with the leaves here.

How do you do the baby wipe technique?  Take a baby wipe, put it on a plate (something protecting your working surface under it), put drops of ink refill onto the baby wipe & that then becomes your "ink pad" to tap your stamp into for a rainbow of different colors!
stamp sets:  'Colorful Seasons' & 'Seasonal Lantern'
card stock:  Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Window Sheet
designer paper:  Painted Autumn
ink:  Cajun Craze

You can see another card BY CLICKING HERE, that I previously posted on my blog that is similar to this one, that I made that card with left over pieces from class.

A Snowflake Embossed Acetate box!

WOW!!  Check out this beautiful Snowflake Embossed Acetate box, using the Winter Wonderland Embossing folder!!

This was another one of my projects from my Holiday Extravaganza class last month.
It was so easy to do!  And it is just so pretty!  It was a big hit- forsure!

How do you do it?
You just slide the embossing folder down into the Acetate box.  The top side of the box is between the embossing folder & the back side of the Acetate box is on the outside of it!  It works like a gem!  SO quick & easy & so neat!

I decorated the outside of the Acetate box using the Stripped Black & White Ribbon, along with a Mini Silver Ornament & the Green Sprigs!

These Acetate boxes can be found on page 13 in the Holiday Catalog.  The come 10 in a package for only $6.50, #144628.  They are truly a great little box that holds 3-4 cards & envelopes that you can fill & give as a gift to someone special on your Christmas list!

I'll be spending my day with the 3 little ones today!!  And tonight I'll be baking all night- getting ready for our Thanksgiving dinner.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
