A Fun Fold with Floral Squares

 Wow- how fun this is!
I love the way it turned out!
Check out this fun fold card I made!
I LOVE the plaid black & white DSP!
It is from the Pattern Party hostess DSP on page 171 in the Annual Catalog.
This is what it looks like when opened up!!
Neat huh!

You can CLICK below to see some other cards I have done with this similar fold.

Notice what it looks like from the front when open & standing up.
As the 2 plaid bottom corners are the pieces I diagonally cut off of the top 2 corners.

How did I do this?
I used my Simply Scored Scoring Tool to score my DSP.

1.  DSP measures- 5 1/4 x 12"- score at 2, 4, 8 & 10"

2.  Using your Paper Trimmer diagonal cut the corner off of both ends, by putting your corner at the 2 3/4" mark in the middle of the 5 1/4" side & make a diagonal cut upward to your 2" score line.  Then you need to do the same thing on the other corner/side too! BE SURE YOU SAVE THE TRIANGLE YOU CUT OFF, as you'll use it later!

3.  This is what it looks like when you cut off the corner.

4.  Notice how both corners are cut off.  Now fold on all of the scored line
5.  The 2 pieces of diagonal cuts of the plaid DSP NOW get adhered on the bottom corners of the front of your card like this.
 6.  Check it out when it folded shut!!
