More Celebration Tidings

I have a some pretty cards to share with you today!
Check out these cards!
One is a great Fall card & the other is a great Christmas card!

What a versatile stamp set this- 'Celebration Tidings' is.
Isn't this just a really pretty traditional green & red Christmas card.
I LOVE the plaid 'Tis the Season Designer Paper!

I used several NEW Holiday Mini Catalog products.
  • 'Tis the Season DSP
  • 'Celebration Tidings' stamp set
  • Wonder of the Season (Shaded Spruce) Ribbon
  • Real Red 3/16" Braided Linen Trim
I colored the inside of these pines with my Wink of Stella.
Since I used a water base ink, the Wink of Stella pulled out the
Shaded Spruce & Soft Seafoam colors!
Neat huh!

NOTE:  I did stamp the Merry Christmas words onto the Real Red card stock, using the Shaded Spruce ink pad.  It almost looks black in the photo.

Check out the center of the card......this "technique is called block stamping".
How did I do it?
  • Here I stamped the pines/berries using Shaded Spruce ink.
  • Then took the CLEAR BLOCK C.
  • I inked it into Soft Seafoam ink.
  • I then pressed it down over pines/berries.
  • And check out the neat rectangle shading I got by doing this.
