Oh my- I had a jam packed weekend full of LOTS of stamping!!  It was all just wonderful!!!  I had a great time sharing, visiting & stamping with the many of you that joined me for my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack classes this past week/weekend!  It was great to see you all!  My heart is full that I get to share my love of stamping with you!!

Bless Ruth for being my right hand person & for all she does to help me set up & for our classes in Hiawatha!  I know I could never do it with out her!  And Monica & Cindy were both AWESOME hostesses!  They brought great treats & were so much help to me in getting things done.  They helped to make both classes yesterday go so smoothly!!!   It was just a great day!!

Last night I got the car unloaded when I got home, we ate supper, I placed orders & finally called it a night!

This morning we woke up to snow!  UGHH!!!!!  I am not ready for winter!  This is the 3rd time we've had snow on the ground already this fall!

School is delayed 2 hours.  We were suppose to be going to the Veterans Day ceremony at school, but it got rescheduled until tomorrow.  So I'll be spending my day with the Masen & Ainslee!  And then tonight I'll be working on stamping stuff!!!

Thinking of & being so thankful for the veterans today as we celebrate Veterans Day!

Gotta run.....I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!

Ride with Me

How cute is this farm house style old truck!!

This card is one that everyone made at my Holiday Extravaganza a couple of weeks ago.  It turned out cute!

I stamped the words, punch them out with the Tailored Tag punch & then punch out 2 more pieces, using the Tailored Tag punch & Real Red card stock.  I cut those to pieces......one horizontally & one vertical.  I then layered them behind the words & trim off the 2 end pieces- so that they have even layering all the way around.
I have made several other cards & posted them here on my blog, using this stamp set.  All of them were blue trucks though!  I like how this red one turned out.

stamp set:  'Ride with Me'
card stock:
  • Garden Green-5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base; 2" strip (stamp tree on & cut out with die)
  • Real Red- 5 1/2 x 2 1/4"; 2" strip- punch out 2 Tailored Tag Punch; 2 3/4 x 4"
  • Very Vanilla- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card; 2" strip- stamp words onto & punch out with the Tailored Tag Punch
  • Thick Very Vanilla- 2 1/2 x 3 3/4"- stamp truck & color with Stampin' Blends
designer paper:  Toile Tidings DSP-
ink:  Memento
Stampin' Blends:  Dark Real Red, Light Basic Black, Light Gray Granite
other:  Tailored Tag punch, Clear Epoxy Droplets, Garden Green Double Stitched Ribbon, Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Truck Ride Dies, dimensionals, glue dots

I had a Christmas Stamp-a-Stack class here last night!  It was a fun evening visiting & stamping with everyone that joined me.  This morning I was up early to work on cutting card stock.  We then sold a semi of hogs, so I went out to help Deke mark, sort & load them.  The semi was later than normal, so bless my downline Cindy & Steph for helping me out.  As I have classes today- one this morning & one this afternoon here at our home.  I'm so thankful that Cindy & Stpeh came early & were here to help take care of things here at our home until I got in from working on the farm.  I enjoyed getting to see everyone & visit with all that joined me to stamp today!!!!!  I am off to get everything cleaned up & then finish cutting card stock tonight.  As tomorrow I have 2 of my Christmas Stamp-a-Stacks in Hiawatha.   WOO HOO!!

Purple Posy Ink To Be Discontinued-
Despite our efforts to resolve issues with Purple Posy ink, we have learned that the ink color is still shifting over time. This means that the color is coordinating more loosely than we typically allow with our colors. Due to these ongoing challenges, we have decided to discontinue Purple Posy classic ink. As of November 5, 2019,  we shut off the following items & they will no longer be available to purchase:
  • Purple Posy Classic Stampin’ Pad (item 150084)
  • Purple Posy Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill (item 150091)
  • 2019–2021 In Color Classic Stampin’ Pad Assortment (item 150087)
The three item numbers listed above may still appear in the 2020–2021 annual catalog, but will not be available to purchase as of November 5, 2019. All other Purple Posy products (such as Purple Posy Stampin’ Write Marker, Purple Posy Cardstock, Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends, etc.) will remain available for purchase.

All of Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive ink colors are run through a vigorous series of tests to get ahead of challenges like this, and to ensure colors are accurate and meet our standards of coordination. Purple Posy did pass regular testing standards in time-simulating ovens, but we have now identified that it fell short when it came to actual time passing. The color begins to shift once the ink has rested in the ink pad for about six weeks.

It is rare for Stampin’ Up! or our ink manufacturer to have such persistent issues with ink; Purple Posy has certainly been an abnormal one.  We completed full testing on 11 distinct batches of Purple Posy Classic Stampin’ Ink before releasing the last version. We are now confident that no additional efforts would uphold our coordination needs over time. We appreciate your patience as we have worked through this manufacturing difficulty and regret that we are unable to share better news.
We understand how difficult this is when it comes to demonstrators running their business and for customers wanting to purchase & use a product. We are dedicated to serving everyone to the best we can, even in situations like this. We continue to be committed to offering color coordination across all our product lines.

Yesterday Masen, Ainslee & I ran errands in the morning.   We went to the bank & the cemetery.  We took a fall wreath & leaves to the cemetery to put on my dad's grave.  The weather was beautiful & we were outside for a bit enjoying it.  Brayden & Trey rode the bus here after school. (Brody & Drake had Clover kids 4-H.). When they were gone home I made a quick trip to Osky to deposit a hog check, got a few groceries & back home.  I took supper out to Deke in the field & then spent my evening working on stamping stuff.

This morning I'm up early to cut card stock & then head out to get the boys.  I'll take the twins to school & spend my day with Trey & Ainslee.  The boys will all ride the bus here after school.  Tonight I'll be burning the midnight oil agasin cutting card stock!!

Yummy Christmas!

Oh gosh......is it too early to be sharing this cute card?  This is one of the cards that everyone made at my Holiday Extravaganza last month.

I just so totally love this gingerbread house.  It makes me think of a child & a fairy tale Christmas.  And I think it is tons of fun decorating gingerbread houses.  I know our grandkids make one at their homes each year during the holidays.  And the gingerbread man just makes me smile!!

Honestly, when I first saw this stamp set- I was thinking how hard it would be to color.  But honestly, it didn't take too much time at all to do.  And I overheard several friends that were making it say the exact same thing.

I used the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint on page 19, along with the Ice Glitter on page 41- for the snow on this card!

I colored the gingerbread house & the Christmas tree, with my Stampin' Blends!  And then I cut it out with the coordinating Cuckoo Clock die that is on page 192 in the Annual Catalog!  There is even a die in this set that cuts out this Christmas tree too!
So what do you think?  Do you like it as much as I do?  Several of my friends that made it, ended up getting this stamp set & coordinating dies.   So I'm happy that they liked it too!

stamp set:  'Yummy Christmas'
card stock:
  • Soft Suede-  5 1/2 x 8 1/2"
  • Crumb Cake- 3 3/4 x 3 1/4"
  • Real Red-5/8 x 2 3/4"; 4 x 3 1/2"
  • Whisper White- 4 x 5 1/4" (for inside of card); 4 1/4" strip- stamp Gingerbread House on; 2" strip- stamp Christmas Tree on
designer paper:  Night Before Christmas dsp-  4 x 1/2"; 4 x 1/2"
ink:  Memento
Stampin' Blends: Real Red, Garden Green, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede
other:  Snowfall Accents Puff Paint, Ice Glitter, Heat Tool, Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Cuckoo Clock Die, dimensionals

Christmastime Is Here Suite- Merry Christmas!

check out this pretty card.  It almost just jumps off the page!!!  The detail in it is just amazing!  This DSP is very pretty!!

It coordinates with the Poppy Parade card stock.  Honestly- I would probably never have put these 2 colors together......but I really like it!
Look closely at the Mossy Meadow layer behind the words.  Can you tell that I die cut 2 of the label shape dies.  I layered them on top of each other with one vertical & one horizontal & adhered them behind the circle words.  It worked perfectly for a great layer!!

The lattice looking die, along the bottom is one that I cut it in half (length wise)....adhered part of it along the right edge & part of it along the left edge.  NOTE:  It does not quite go clear across the card front- as there is a spot in the center, under the words that you can't see!

YOU CAN CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHRISTMASTIME IS HERE SUITE!

stamp set:  'Christmas Rose'
card stock:

  • Poppy Parade- 4 1/4 x 4 1/4"; 2 3/4" strip (for 2 1/4" Circle punch); 5 1/2 x 1/4"
  • Whisper White-2 3/4"- (stamp words onto & punch out with Starburst punch); 4 x 5 1/4"- (for inside of card)

Yesterday was a great day of stamping with everyone!!!  Jenny had lots of yummy treats!  Bless Von, Dawn, Katherine, Dena & Teri too for helping to set up & clean up!  Everyone went home with 10 completed Christmas cards in record time.

I hurried home, so that we could go to Alvin's visitation.  Then came home & had a yummy supper that Jenny made for us.  I got the car unloaded, a few things done & we called it a night.

This morning we are up early.  Deke is off to chore & head to the courthouse for his weekly board meeting.  He is hoping to go to the field when he gets home if it is dry enough.  He then has a meeting in Fairfield tonight.

I'm baking 2 pans for bar cookies & will take them to the church for Alvin's funeral dinner, on my way to Manda's to get the boys.  I'll hurry home to get Masen & Ainslee.  Today is a teacher in service day- so the kids don't have school.  Hopefully it will be nice enough that we can play outside some.  Tonight I'll be stamping!

I HOPE you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!

WOW!!  What an awesome suite......so endless possibilities!  I love it!!  And I've been having fun creating with these new products!

YOU CAN CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS CHRISTMASTIME IS HERE SUITE!

I used the November Special- 'Christmastime Is Here' suite to make this pretty card.  It is a totally Susie card......I love the earth like colors (Mossy Meadow & Early Espresso), along with nature's beauty (pine needles & pine cones)!!  These pine cones are so cool!  They are so realistic!!

Look at how you can stamp these pine cones & then punch them out- using the Leaf Punch!!
Cool huh!  It works great to punch these out like this!!
This stamp set is really cool.  The big outline of the Rose/leaves/pines/pinecones- is a Red Rubber stamp.  And then all of the other stamps are Photopolymer.  They are the Distinktive Stamp Images!!

This stamp set is easy to line up & stamp.  But when you use your Stampatratus it is super easy & super fast to do!

stamp set:  'Christmas Rose'
card stock:
  • Early Espresso- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base; 3 3/4 x 3 1/2"; 3 3/4 x 3/4"; 1 1/4 x 2 1/4"
  • Mossy Meadow- 4 x 5 1/4"
  • Whisper White- 3 1/2 x 3 1/4"- stamp pine needles/leaves/pine cones along the top edge; 1 1/2" strip- stamp words onto this & use die to cut out; 4 x 5 1/4"- stamp words onto for inside of the card.
designer paper:  Christmastime Is Here

Yesterday was a busy day with the kids.  Last night I had an eye dr appointment & Deke went with me, as I knew that they were going to dilate it.  We ate Mexican for supper after my appointment.  And called it a night when we got home.

Many of you have asked that I keep you updated on my eye- so here is what I found out.  I have a big "glob in the back side of my right eye".  It will hopefully break loose on its own & be absorbed within- in the next month or so.  My vision has changed alot since my last complete eye exam a few years ago.  I do have full vision (including side view) right now- even though I have floaters, black specks & lighting flashes happening in my right eye.  If my vision or anything changes in the next few weeks- I'll go immediately back to the dr.   He is hoping that it takes care of itself & I don't have to have anything done with it.  So I will go back in a month, get my eyes rechecked & hopefully it will be all healed.  I will then get new glasses ordered at that time.  So I pray that this happens.

Our GANG on Halloween-
 Brody, Drake & Trey

 Brayden & Masen
Ainslee & Masen

Today I'll spend my day with all of the kids here.  Tonight I'll be stamping!

Gotta run.......
I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday was a busy day with the kids.  School got out early.  So we played inside- drawing a race track onto a big sheet of paper; games & ipads.  When the kids went home last night I worked on stamping stuff.  And Deke worked up to Nathan's helping him with some things.

This morning I am headed to Manda's.  I will take the twins to school & spend my day with Trey & Ainslee.  The kids have a full day of school today.  Tonight I have an eye dr appointment & Deke is going with me.  I have been having migraines, flashes & floaters in my right eye for the past couple of weeks & it is literally driving me nuts.  And it is kicking my butt.  Those of you that have seen me in the past couple of weeks know about this.  So I hope I find out tonight that it isn't anything too serious, can get some new glasses & get my eyes back to normal, so I can see again & feel better.

Gotta run......I hope you have a very special Halloween today!!
Happy Stamping!

Feels LIke Frost

Have you seen the Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP?  It is on page 41 in the Holiday Catalog!

Oh my Gosh.......It is a gorgeous, with many different photographic images in it!

This card is one of the ones everyone at my Holiday Extravaganza made.  It isn't a traditional holiday card.  But it could easily be changed to be for many different Occasions.

I really like the way it turned out!  Do you like it?

I added some Champagne Shimmer paint to it for the added sparkle!

My week is crazy........again.
"Someday" I hope to get caught up on things.
Sorry this is short & sweet!
I'll post measurements & supplies, etc......sometime hopefully soon when I get time.
But just wanted to share........

Yesterday we woke up to about 4" of snow!  It was pretty with snow all over the trees & ground.  Thankfully most of it didn't stick to the roads.

Yesterday was a busy day with the kids.  And the boys got out of school early due to Parent/Teachers Conferences, so the gang was here! When they went home I worked on bookwork awhile.  When Deke got in we ran up to Nathan's shop (where it was bright) & I cut his hair.  We ate a late supper, I did some more bookwork & called it a night.

This morning I'm off to Manda's, as she has to leave early.  I'll take the 3 Seeley boys to school & spend my day with Masen & Ainslee.  The 3 boys get out of school early again today, so I'll have the gang here all afternoon.  Tonight I hope to get lots of stamping done.

Hope we all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Some cute snowmen!

So.....today's post isn't stamping, but I just had to share some cute snowmen that I recently painted!!

These are about 4 feet tall or so.  And I think they turned out super cute!!  I free hand painted them.  They are all just a little different!

My friend Chris's husband (Tony) made these for me a couple of years ago.  I got one for myself & then thought they would be so cool, that I had him make 2 more for me, so that Manda & Sarah could both have one too!  Mine is just a little wider than the girl's, but they are all the same height.
Each one of them has a different colored bottom......Sarah's is red, mine is blue & Manda's was green!
I decided that they needed a pipe hanging out of their mouth.  I am hoping to find some wooden bows or get some material to add around their necks.  And maybe find something to add to their hat too.
On the back side of them I painted scarecrows (a couple of month's ago).  I already posted them.  You can CLICK HERE to see the scarecrow side of these!   They turned out cute too!

Yesterday was a busy day with the kids.  We made a quick trip to Osky to the bank to deposit a hog check.   The 3 boys rode the bus here after school.  And they all enjoyed pretzel snacks that my dear friend (downline) Julie made!  When everyone was gone home I worked on stamping stuff.  Deke was in the field, so I took supper out to him & rode a couple rounds in the tractor with him.

This morning I'm off to town.  I'll take the twins to school & spend my day with Trey& Ainslee again.  School gets out early today- so the other 3 boys will be here then.  Tonight I'll be stamping when everyone has gone home.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday was another long day of stamping!!  My friends Christy & Lynda joined me for the day- they stamped & I cleaned & packed up!!  Deke came over at 7:00 last night to help me put away the tables & haul everything home.  My Holiday Extravaganza for 2019 is now in the books.  It was a good one.....but I am tired & have lots to catch up on.

I am hitting the ground running again this week.......need to get everything unpacked, put away & start all over again......as this next weekend kicks off my first Christmas Stamp-a-Stack for November!

We are up early this morning.  Deke is off early to chore & head to the courthouse for his weekly board meeting.  I will be working on getting my family room full of stamping stuff put away.......before I head to Manda's.  I'll take the twins to school & spend my day with Trey & Ainslee.  Tonight I'll be working on stamping stuff!

Gotta run.
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!

Coffin box!

This little  Vampire is so cute!
Check out this little coffin box that everyone made at my
Halloween Treats classes earlier this month!

The coffin box is a pre-made box......you just have to add
adhesive & glue dots to stick it together.
I did use the awesome Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder on the coffin lid.
Doesn't that look cool!

The Vampire & the words were cut out using the Ornate Frames Dies.

I added a little bat, that is part of the Every Season Punch Pack.

stamp set:  'Spooktacular Bash'

ink:  Memento
Stampin' Blend:  Real Red

Yesterday was a GREAT DAY OF STAMPING!  Everyone that joined me went home with 21 fall/winter projects!!  Several cards, some ornaments & home decor projects!!  I can't think everyone that helped out in any way enough- including bringing food, helping to clean up, etc! I was beat when I got home last night.  I made Deke sandwiches & took them to the field to him.  I rode a round in the tractor with him & went to bed at 8:00 p.m.- which is super early for me.

This morning I'm up to work on things & headed out the door soon.  I'll spend my whole day in South English again today- clean up, packing up & getting everything back home.  Deke will come over there tonight to help me pick up the tables & chairs & haul everything home.

Gotta run......
I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!

A Wooden Snowman

I LOVE this wooden snowman.  Isn't he just adorable!!

Deke cut LOTS of the circles to make snowmen from trees around our house.

I then I used the LET IT SNOW- embellishment kit & some other current Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog products to decorate him.
Look at this box of wood pieces I've been gluing together to make into the snowmen.

This snowman is one of the projects that everyone is making today with me at my Annual Holiday Extravaganza!!  This is a full day of stamping!  Everyone will go home with 20 projects that are fall/winter/Christmas themed!

I need to thank my demonstrator friend LeeAnn Greff for sharing a snowman she had made.....as that is where my idea came from to make these.

I'll share more details about him in the next few days when I find time to catch up!

Gotta run.........I have a full weekend jam packed with lots of stamping!!  I have a big group coming & and I can't wait to see everyone to stamp & share with them!

I hope you have a SUPER Saturday!

Yesterday was a busy day with kids & pigs.  I worked on the farm, helping Deke with the new baby pigs.  Thankfully my mom came down to keep Ainslee & Trey for me, so they didn't have to go outside with us.  When the kids went home last night I burnt the midnight oil again cutting card stock.

This morning I'm up early to work on stamping stuff.  I'll then spend my day with Ainslee & Masen.  Tonight Deke & I will go to South English with a car full of things!!   We'll set up tables/chairs & some of the projects for Annual Holiday Extravaganza & then come home to make all of the food & finish getting everything all cut, packed up & ready for tomorrow's big event.

Gotta run......
I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!

Tiny Curvy Keepsakes Boxes!

Now how cute are these!!!
They both just make me smile!

Check out these little Halloween treat boxes made with the
Tiny Curvy Keepsakes Boxes!
They were both projects from my Halloween Treats classes
I had earlier this month.

Which one do you like better?
The Pumpkin or the Ghost???
The stripes on the pumpkin come from the 'Tiny Keepsakes' stamp set.
The leaf & the pumpkin face come from the 'Harvest Hellos' stamp set.
And I punched the leaf out using the- Every Season Punch Pack (leaf punch).
 Oh.....says the ghost!
Check out the cute Googly Eyes on page 57 in the 2019 Holiday Catalog.

The Tag comes from the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies.
And the words come from the 'Boo to You' stamp set.
And are you wondering how did I make the ghosts mouth?
I used my Spring Punch & cut off one of the little ends!

More info on the supplies & things later next week!
I am cutting & getting ready for my upcoming Holiday Extravaganza
