Is this a card that you could send to a special guy in your life?
I know I send guy cards often.
This could be a Father's Day card, birthday card, etc.
I used the 'Handsomely Suited' stamp set & combined it
with the Peony Garden DSP!
Yes-this gray herringbone DSP is from the Peony Garden DSP pack.
On this card I just stamped the tie directly onto the
Basic White card stock.
It is quick & simple, yet great!
But check out this one.....
This is the exact same card, except I stepped it up.
And all I did to change it was to stamp the tie onto
Smokey Slate card stock & then die cut it out.
Which one of the tie cards do you like better?
The simple one with the White tie or the die cut one with the Gray tie?
Here are the measurements & supplies.
stamp set: 'Handsome Suited'
card stock:
- Basic Gray- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2'- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base
- Smoky Slate- 2 1/4 x 5 1/2"
- Basic Gray- 1 3/4 x 4 3/4"
- Basic White- 1 1/2 x 4 1/2"
- Smoky Slate- 1" strip- stamp tie onto & die cut out
- Basic White- 1/2" strip- stamp words onto & punch out with Classic Label Punch
- Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card
designer paper: Peony Garden DSP- 3 3/4 x 5 1/2"
ink: Basic Gray
other: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine; Suit & Tie Dies; Metallic Pearls (Silver); Classic Label Punch- RETIRING!; dimensionals
