Stampin' Up! Happy Thoughts Triple Layering

Last night I was playing with the triple stamping technique
& instead of stamping, I decided to use DSP with it
& make it triple layering!

Check out these 2 cards.
They are exactly the same- just different colors of card stock
for the bases & layers.

Which one do you like better?
THIS ONE OR THAT ONE?
The Misty Moonlight one or the Bumblebee one?
Isn't it neat how this layers!
And it is so easy to do!
I like both of them, but this one is my favorite!
I think that adding the darker color- like the Misty Moonlight here
just makes it pop more!
If you look closely you can see the stitching around the edges that the
Stitched Rectangle Die made!
Here are the supplies & measurements for these cards.
stamp set:  'Happy Thoughts'
card stock:
  • Bumblebee or Misty Moonlight- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base
  • Bumblebee or Misty Moonlight- 3 1/4 x 4 5/8"
  • Bumblebee or Misty Moonlight- 2 x 3 3/8"
  • Bumblebee or Misty Moonlight- 1/2 x 3"
  • Basic White- 2" strip- stamp words & punch out with Story Label Punch
  • Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card
designer paper:  Flowers for Every Season DSP- RETIRING!
  • 4 x 5 1/4"- use 2 of the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out center
ink:  Misty Moonlight
other:  Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine; Stitched Rectangle Dies; Bumblebee or Misty Moonlight Ribbon- RETIRING! 2019-2021 In Color Enamel Dots- RETIRING!; Story Label Punch- RETIRING!; dimensionals; glue dots
 I took a piece of 4 x 5 1/4" DSP & cut out these 2 Stitched Rectangle Dies.
I then layered them onto card stock pieces like this!

I hope you have a GREAT Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs-
SUSIE
