I enjoyed a busy day with my boys yesterday.  Last night when they were all gone home I worked on stamping stuff!!

This morning I'm off to pick pick up the boys.  I'll take the twins to pre-school & spend my day with Trey & Masen.  Tonight is my farmer night helping Deke with the pigs.

Yesterday was a busy day with 6 little ones!  Brooklynn is very sweet & a good baby.  The boys loved her.  They all kept me going 100 mph though- that is forsure.  Oh my gosh....I know why I had kids young.  I was beat when they all left last night & I still had hours of work to do with switching hats & working on stamp stuff all night.  

This morning I'm off early to go pick up Brayden & Masen & head to Manda's to get their boys.  I'll feed them breakfast there & take Brayden to school & then head back out to our home for the day. 

Tonight when the boys leave I'll be burning the midnight oil again working on stamping stuff!

I spent my day stamping all day yesterday!  I got alot done, but still have lots I have to get finished up tonight. 

Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'm up early & on the go.  I'm gonna stamp a little this morning & then head out to get the boys.  Today is a teachers work day, so the teachers have school, but the kids don't.  Thus I have all 5 boys today- Brayden, Brody, Drake, Trey & Masen.  PLUS my little grand niece, Brooklyn that is 4 months old will be here all day with us too.  Her daycare provider has today off- so she is coming to visit us. 

Tonight when everyone is gone home I'll burn the midnight oil stamping!!

Brayden & Masen spent part of the day with us yesterday.  We then all headed to Des Moines to see Disney on Ice.  They boys all loved it- even Masen!  It was fun to see them smiling, clapping & loving the show!

It was late when we got home, as we stopped for supper too.  I'm glad we could all go together!  

 

It was quite comical to try to get a picture of everyone.  This is the best we ended up with!

Today I'm home all day.  I have a ton of things from this months classes to get put away, so I can gear up for all of my upcoming December classes.

Deke is gonna work on the farm all day again today, playing catch up there too.

Yesterday I spent the day/evening catching up on bookwork.  In the afternoon I ran to the bank & stopped at my moms to see her on my way home for a few minutes.  

Today I'm going to work on stamping stuff until the boys get here.  Brayden & Masen are going to spend the morning with us.  Then our whole family- Nathan, Sarah, Brayden, Masen, Manda, Steve, Brody, Drake, Trey, Deke & I are all headed to Des Moines to see Disney On Ice together!!  I know I'm excited about it!  I hope it is a great show.  We took the boys 2 years ago to it & the boys all loved it!

A fun twist fold Christmas card

This is a fun twist Christmas card that everyone at my Holiday Extravaganza class made last month.
 Measurements:

• Start with a piece of cardstock cut in half long-wise: 4-1/4" x 11".
• Score a diagonal line from one corner to the opposite corner. 
• Fold on the score line.
• Fold in half to make a card with even sides.  
• To make the designer paper layers, trim 1/4" off each side and use the cutting blade instead of the scoring blade using the instructions above. 
• It fits perfectly in one of our regular 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" medium envelopes.

This layout is perfect to make pockets to use for cash or gift cards.

I put the words in the middle- on the inside of the card!

So what do you think?  It is cute huh!  And this designer paper is so pretty too.

Yesterday was a quite day.  I worked on farm bookwork.  And Deke worked on the farm all day.  The Seeley family came out to eat lunch with us- so we were happy to see them!!!  

I am starting to feel a little better, so the meds are starting to work.  Today I'm home all day- except for a few errands I have to run to Sigourney to do.  I hope to get caught up on piles of things.  Deke will be home all day again to work on the farm catching up on his things too.

Nathan & Sarah shared their EXCITING news today!  They are expecting another baby the end of June/first part of July 2017!  So our family will be growing some more.  We can't wait! 

Brayden & Masen are excited to have a little brother or sister join their family!  I love the shirts that Sarah got for the boys to wear.  

We found out a few weeks ago that they were expecting & it has been a hard secret to keep.....so now everyone knows!

Yesterday Deke stayed with the boys when he got home from the office & I went to the dr.  I have strep throat & bronchitis- so have meds & I hope I feel better soon.

We were suppose to go to my sisters for Thanksgiving today, but we are staying home since I've been sick.  We'll have a little something for lunch (pork roast),  Deke will work all afternoon catching up on the farm & I hope to get to take an afternoon nap (something I never get to do).  Manda, Steve & the boys will be joining us for awhile today.  And Nathan, Sarah & the boys are gone to Missouri for the holiday, so we won't get to see them.

However you spend your day I hope you enjoy it!  There are many things in my life that I'm thankful for!! And sharing my love of stamping with all of you is one thing that I'm very thankful for!

Today is another busy day on the go with the boys.  I'm off this morning to pick up Brayden & Masen.  And then we'll go to the Seeley home.  I'll get them all ready for school, their breakfast & take the 3 big boys to school & bring the 2 little ones home with me.

I'm hoping to get in to the dr today......I've been fighting this crud for 2 weeks now & I am sick & miserable.

Deke is off early to chore & he'll spend the morning in the office.  

Tonight is up in the air.....we'll see how I feel.  I need to make noodles & things for our Thanksgiving Dinner at my sisters.  If I don't feel better though, I'll be staying home all day on Thursday.

'Hang Your Stockings'- gift card holder!

With the upcoming holidays we can all use one of these!!  Check out this cool gift card holder that I made.

It is clean & simple & so cute!

I used one of our medium Whisper White envelopes to make this!

How did I do that?

• Fold the envelope in half 
• Cut the envelope flap in half- on the folded seam
• I used a corner rounder to round the 2 inside flap edges.
• I then like & sealed the left side.
• I left the right side open so that you can slide a gift card (or money) into it.

Yesterday I took the twins to school & Trey & I ran errands.  Deke stayed home with Trey after lunch for a little bit, before he went out to grind feed & work on the farm, so that I could run to the bank.  Masen was here in the afternoon for awhile with us & after school all of the boys were here.  When they went home last night I worked on farm & SU! bookwork.  

I am still fighting a terrible sore throat & cough.  My head just feels like it could explode.  I'm hoping we are all better soon.  

This morning Deke is off early to chore & then he has an eye dr appointment.  I'm off early to go to Nathan & Sarah's to stay with their boys.  We'll then head to Manda's to pick up their boys.  I'll take Brayden to school & the rest of us will spend the day out our home.

Tonight after the boys go home I'm a farmer helping Deke with the pigs!
