Yesterday day was a busy day!  Yesterday morning, Masen, Ainslee & I went to Columbus Junction to my Aunt's visitation.  It was great seeing cousins that I haven't seen for several years!  I have very fond memories of them being at my grandparents when we were all growing up.

Yesterday afternoon when the kids went home- I worked on catching up on emails & some piles of paper work.  We were suppose to go to watch Drake wrestle last night, but he came home from school with a little fever.  Hope he is feeling better today.  We sure don't need anyone to be sick.  Last night I actually did nothing but watch a movie with Deke & go to bed early.  I was just beat last night.  It was like I ran into a brick wall.  The past 2 weeks & going 100 mph has caught up with me.

This morning Deke is up early to chore.  Then he is going with Nathan, Masen & Ainslee to Iowa City to watch Brayden play on a traveling league basketball team.  I have a hair cut (finally) this morning.  Then I'm going to run some errands in town & go to the recycle center.  I'll hurry home, as this afternoon I have another calendar class.

We'll see how our day goes.......Deke wants to go to our favorite place for supper tonight- Bogies in Albia for prime rib.  If it all goes as planned we just might do that, as we haven't been there for several months.  We also need to do our Christmas shopping too sometime.....as the days are fastly slipping away!  Christmas will be here before we know it!

Gotta run!
I hope you have a SPECIAL Saturday!!
Happy Stamping!

We have Nathan & Sarah's kids.....they stayed last night.  Ainslee was up bright & early!

This morning Deke is up early to chore & he'll then head to Ottumwa to a meeting.  I'm off to Columbus Junction with the kids, to my great Aunt Martha Gregan's visitation.  We won't stay for the funeral, since I'll have the kids- but I really want to go see all of her family.  Tonight Drake wrestles in North English, so we'll go there to watch him.

This morning I'm off to town to take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Nathan & Sarah are gone today/tonight- so their 2 are spending the night with us.  We'll see what time they get to bed & hopefully I can get some stamping stuff done.

My February Calendar Page!

Here are some more NEW SNEAK PEEKS!!  Check them out.......

Well- I love hearts........so this calendar page is special to me!!  February is also my birthday month- so maybe that is why I love hearts & Valentines!  This calendar page is a totally Susie layout/color & theme.

See how the hearts are stamped at a diagonal from bottom left to the top right side.  And the cool thing about this stamp is that it is a cluster of hearts & they are made to give the shadowing look!!  Yep- you just have to ink it & stamp it ones on the top corner & then ink it & stamp it once on the bottom corner & you get all of these hearts at one time & all of the color variation too with just one stamp!!  It is SUPER COOL!!!

Check out this cute page!!  I used 2 new stamp sets on it.
  • 'Forever Lovely'- NEW in January 2019 Occasions Catalog
  • 'Hello Cupcake'- NEW in January 2019 Sale-a-bration Catalog (Yep- this one is free with a $50.00 order)
NOTE:  The little heart is from a retired trio heart punch.  I think that one of the NEW Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies has a heart similar to this size.  It is a NEW set in January 2019 in the Occasions Catalog too.

HOW DID IT MAKE THE DOT on the date?  I bought a pack of new #2 pencils.  It is the eraser tip!!!  Pretty cool huh!!  And SOOOO easy to do!
The ribbon is this corner is a SNEAK PEEK TOO!  It is from the All My Love Ribbon combo pack- (Lovely Lipstick) NEW in the 2019 Occasions Catalog.

NOTE- that I don't know if I'll have enough ribbon for each of my calendar classes- so another ribbon may be substituted, as I can only pre-order a limited amount during the pre-order period.

stamp set:  'Forever Lovely' - NEW in January 2019 Occasions Catalog; 'Hello Cupcake'- NEW in 2019 Sale-a-bration Catalog
card stock:
  • Crumb Cake- 4x4"
  • Petal Pink- 2 3/4 x 2 1/4" ; 4 1/4 x 3/4" 1 x 2" (stamp the words on here)
  • Lovely Lipstick- 1/2" strip (for heart punch); 1 2/ x 4"; 2 1/2 x 2"
ink:  Lovely Lipstick
other:  All My Love Ribbon Combo pack- NEW in January Occasions Catalog; Paper Snips (to flag ends of pink); Dimensionals; Glue Dots, Trio Heart Punch- retired

NOTE:  At my calendar classes, we are mass producing may calendars.  I try to not use framelits or die cut images as I don't want to have to take along my Big Shot (due to space) & I don't have time to pre-cut any die cuts & I don't want anyone at the class to have to take the extra time to do die cutting.  I'm a punch girl.  And all of the punches used on all of these calendars are Stampin' Up! ones.  Most of the are current, but a few of them retired.

Yesterday was a busy day with kids.  We went to the Sigourney Library for story & craft time.  It was fun!  The boys didn't want to go, but loved it once we got there.  They got 2 books that were read to them & they were about the Grinch & Christmas!  And since we just went to the Grinch movie a couple of weeks ago- that was special to them.  They both answered questions that the reader asked & participated well.  Ainslee isn't quite old enough to go.  So I sat on the rug with the kids & tried to keep her quite & get her engaged in what the reader was reading.  She loves books too!  But she likes to hold it & be in control- not just sit & listen.  The craft they made was a Santa that was cut out & they had to glue onto the paper.  Then there is a beard with numbers in it that are not in numerical order......and you add a cotton ball each day for the numbered count down to Christmas day.  It was fun & cute to do!

Last night I burnt the midnight oil working on cutting card stock!!

I'm off this morning to town to get the boys, take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  The 3 big boys will ride the bus here after school & I'll burn the midnight oil again tonight working on stamping stuff!

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

I embossed the base of the card using the Striped Scallop Embossing folder.  You can find it on 223 in the Annual Catalog!

Check out the little flower on the cake!  It is also from a NEW punch pack in the NEW 2019 Occasions Catalog, called Bitty Blooms Punch Pack (a set of 4 little flower images & a leaf image too)!

Yesterday I helped Sarah, as their home was one that was on the Sigourney Tour of Christmas Homes!  We had a big crowd that came to look at their home.  Nathan & Sarah had it decorated beautifully!  There was a Christmas tree in every room!  Plus lots of garland & Christmas decorations everywhere!!  I saw alot of local people (that I knew) & hadn't seen for awhile, so it was great to get to chat with them.  Manda, Sarah's mom (Julie) & I are the 3 that helped her with the tour.  Despite the crappy rainy weather- many people ventured out on our gravel road.  After the tour was over, I went up to get my mom & Aunt Virginia & brought them down to Nathan & Sarah's so they could see their home all decorated too!  It was a fun day!

Deke is up early to chore & headed to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'm off to get the boys.  I'll take the twins to school & then spend my day with the 3 little ones.  The 3 big boys ride the bus here after school.  If our morning goes ok- I'm going to take the 3 little ones to the Sigourney Library today for story time.  We have never done that before.  The Library does it every Monday, so we are going to hopefully make it there to check it out!  Tonight when the kids go home I'll be a card stock cutting fool!  And Deke will be in Fairfield at another meeting.

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!
Happy Stamping!

I am using all of these NEW stamp sets & NEW punches for my 2019 calendars pages!!!  The piles of card stock are the colors I chose for each month to be different!!  In this photo I have 96 (a whole package of each color of card stock) cut, with the holes punched for the top. This week I have LOTS more stacks to get cut & punched.

I had my first 4x4 2019 calendar class yesterday & I have 8 more calendar classes to go this coming week/weekend.  I have LOTS & LOTS of cutting yet to get done.  But let me tell you- each month turned out super cute & I'll be sharing them all with you in the next 12 days!  So be sure you check back my blog by each day to see then!  I need to get pictures of all of my calendar pages taken yet, so that I can post them for you see!  So I'll get that done tonight.

I have burnt the midnight oil this past week working on them & finished creating them at 2:00 a.m. yesterday morning!  And I'm super happy with how they all turned out!  It is just so much fun getting to play with new products.  It kind of makes me feel like a kid in a candy store!

NOTE:  After my classes are over with next week I'll be offering KITS TO GO for my 2019 calendars, if I have any supplies left over for those that live far away.  So if you are interested in this option LET ME KNOW RIGHT AWAY so I can cut supplies for you this week too to get these- please CONTACT ME HERE!

I took today off of work to help out at Nathan & Sarah's home.  Our local Sigourney library does a Christmas Tour of 4 homes each year.  This year Nathan & Sarah's home is one of them that is on the list to tour.   So I'm headed up to their home to help out with the tour for the day!!  I haven't seen their house yet since it is all decorated.  I'm sure it is beautiful!

Tonight when I get home from their house I'll be working on cutting piles & piles of card stock for my upcoming calendar classes!!!

Gotta run......
I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!
hugs-
