Awhh.....I just love this daisy card!!  And honestly, these are not a normal color combination for me!!  But I wanted to use this Garden Lane DSP!  So this is what I decided to create with it!  I am very happy with the way it turned out!!  It is a very pretty card!

 
I used a LOT of RETIRING products when creating this card-

• 'Painted Harvest' stamp set- RETIRING!
• Clear Faceted Gems- RETIRING!
• Leaf Punch- RETIRING!
• Pearlized Doilies- RETIRING!
• Garden Lane DSP- RETIRING!

And look at it when it standing up!!  I did my favorite "z fold" with it too!  I thought it just made it that much more special.

NOTE:  The words & the leaf stamp- are both in the 'Painted Harvest' stamp set!  It is awesome that this leaf coordinated with the Leaf Punch!  I love the sunflowers in this 'Painted Harvest' stamp set.  It is on page 128 in the Annual Catalog.  Check it out!!  If you are a stamper that attends my monthly classes- you probably already have this stamp set, as I've used it a lot over the past few years!  I will sure miss it!  And I'm going to really miss the Leaf Punch, as it is an all time favorite & go to punch of mine!  If you don't have either of these.....you might want to get them before they are gone. 


This card would make a great All Occasion card- sympathy, birthday, Mother's Day, thank you, etc....

This Little Piggy with his Covid-19 Mask!

Awhh......this is totally a Susie card!!  Me & my little piggies!  This is an adorable stamp set that is dear to my heart!  I can't wait for the kids to see this card today.  I know that they will all love it!  As I have a feeling we might be making more of these piggy cards!

So.....I put a little Covid-19 mask on my 'This Little Piggy' card today.  

How did I make the mask?

• It is a TINY piece of white card stock that measures- 3/8" x 5/8"- & I score it every 1/8" on my Simply Scoring Tool.  I then cut 1/8" strips of white card stock for the straps.  
• The mask has a dimensional behind it.  
• The straps are adhered with a glue dot on the end of them & tucked in under the mask (since it is popped up with the dimensional).  
• I bend the ends of the straps to the backside of the pig & then used Tear & Tape to hold those ends down.
• This mask is easy to make!  
• And I think it turned out so cute!

His birthday card is very similar to my pig card above.  I have his card posted below.  I used the words from the 'Bonanza Buddies' stamp set.  I can't wait for him to see this.  I think he'll love it!  As he has 12 4-H pigs again this year.  They are right behind our house.  And all of the kids are lovin' being with these pigs each day!  Our piggies are pretty tame!  And it is so cute watching the kids spend time with them.

I used the NEW Ornate Garden Specialty DSP here & colored it with my Stampin' Blends!

This is just such a pretty bouquet of flowers!

I grabbed the words from the RETIRING 'Birthday Jubilee' stamp set.

Cut them out using the Stitched Shapes Dies (circle).

And layered the words onto a Granny Apple Green layer, using the Label Me Lovely Punch! 

Do you see the flowers that I shadowed stamped along the edge (tone on tone)?

Wow......it is simple Saturday, so I have a cute & quick card to share with you today!  I used the 'Ornate Garden' suite!

Here are the products from the 'Ornate Garden' Suite that I used:

• Ornate Garden Specialty DSP
• Ornate Garden Ribbon (Old Olive)
• Ornate Thanks stamp set
• Ornate Layers Dies
• Gilded Gems
• Ornate Border Dies (small flower)

stamp set:  'Ornate Thanks'

card stock:

• Old Olive-  5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base; 2 1/4" strip- die cut rectangle; 4 1/2 x 1"
• Terracotta Tile- 1" strip- die cut flower
• Whisper White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card; 1 1/2" strip- stamp words onto it & die cut out sueing the Stitched Rectangle Dies

inks:  Old Olive & Terracotta Tile

This card is one of the cards everyone made for my All Occasions class. I think that the 'Positive Thoughts' stamp set is just great!  I have used it many times!!  And I'm happy to say that it will be carrying over into the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.
