Spooky Halloween Treat Box

This is a spooky Halloween treat box!

It is one of the 5 projects everyone joining me for my 

Halloween Class will be making this week!

 

I used the awesome Aspen Tree Dies, along 

with the 'Scary Cute' bundle & the 'Alphabest Bundle! 

 

How did I make the box?

• 6 x 12" card stock- score at 5 1/2" & 6 1/2", turn & score at 1" & 5"
• cut as shown below
• Add Tear & Tape along 2 outside edges.

  Here is the pattern!

 

This is how I cut it & where I added the Tear & Tape to the box!

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the SPOOKY letters onto.

And I then punched out the letters using the Best Label Punch.

After I added the Basic Gray ink I then stamped the Frankenstein.

And then finished assembling the box as shown below.

The finished box is 4 x 5 1/2" x 1" wide.

So you can fill it up with lots of your favorite candies 

or another gift of your choice.

• Basic Black- 6 x 12"- score at 5 1/2" & 6 1/2", turn & score at 1" & 5"
• Smoky Slate- 3 7/8 x 5 3/8"- using Blending Brush, add Basic Gray ink onto this
• Crumb Cake- 3 3/4 x 5 1/4"- die cut with Aspen Tree Dies
  
• Basic Black- 1" strip- die cut bats
• Pumpkin Pie- 1" strip- stamp SPOOKY onto using the Stamparatus
• Daffodil Delight- 1 1/4" strip- die cut 1" circle & add Wink of Stella to it

Peace To You Holiday Ornament

This is a pretty holiday ornament I made using the 

# 159776- 'Peace To You' stamp set= $23.00, on page 41 in the Holiday Catalog.

The background is a 2 5/8 x 2 5/8" piece of Starry Sky card stock

that I embossed using the Splatters Embossing Folder.

Here is what the back side of the ornament looks like.

The words are from the

#156353- 'Merriest Moments' stamp set= $22.00, on page 23 in the Holiday Catalog.

Hello Harvest Bundle

WOW- check out this fun pumpkin card.

I made it into a Thanksgiving card, but you can change up the words.

Look at this awesome new embossing folder called the

Twigs & Springs Embossing Folder- pg. 175 Annual Catalog.

It comes with a coordinating die that will cut & emboss at the same time!

This is a fun z fold.

It looks like this when standing up!

Z folds are my favorite "go to fold" for something different.

And I love how they stand up like this!

Fond of Autumn Bundle!

 I love this pretty fall card!

It is a totally Susie card.

 

I used the 'Fond of Autumn' Bundle, along with the 

Gingham Cottage DSP.

Check out how one of the dies cut out this detailed image.

BUT see how I used this die to make it an embossed image my card instead.....

How did I make the sandwich to emboss with this die?

It is a fun diagonal layout,

using the awesome 'Go To Greetings' stamp set.

I love this stamp set, as it is a great all occasions set

with words in different sizes & fonts!

Cottage Wreaths

Rustic Harvest

This is a cute pumpkin/fall card!

I love the way it turned out.

It is a totally Susie card!

And the inspiration came from a card that my friend Ruth Bingle sent to me. 

 

I used the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder

& ripped a strip of it to showcase the

Rustic Harvest DSP! 

 

This is a fun z fold card!

Notice the twine?

I separated it & only used about half of it so that it wasn't so thick & bulky!

How did I rip it?

I measured about 1 1/4" from both edges of card & ripped towards myself.

Then roll up the piece you rip, stick it down with adhesive of your choice. 

I then added a piece of 2 x 4" DSP behind the ripped opening, 

so that it showed thru to the front side.
