Deke & I spent most of our day yesterday in the machine shed staining our mold trim for the outside of our house/garage that we are replacing.  Then last night we all went up to Nathan & Sarah's for awhile & sat out on their patio around their fire pit.  It was nice & chilly!  The boys played football.  We went to bed early- as I was just beat.

This morning I'm off early to pick up the 3 Seeley boys for the day, as Manda is officially back to school full time.  And Deke off early to chore & head to the courthouse for his weekly board meeting.  Tonight when the boys go home I'll be canning tomatoes & Deke will be gone to Fairfield for a meeting.

Oh how I had a full day of stamping yesterday!!  I enjoyed my day, but it was a full one!  I had one of my regular monthly classes in the morning & then had a team meeting in the afternoon!  When everyone left last night I worked on getting our family room/kitchen back in order (furniture moved back where it belonged & all stamp stuff picked up).
Sarah is gone with her cousin this weekend, so Nathan & their boys were here for lunch & supper last night.  Nathan is a great cook- so glad he came here to make supper & eat with us!   When they left last night I went to bed.  I was just beat!
Today I'm working on catching up on mail, bookwork, emails & such this morning.  This afternoon Deke & I are going to stain trim for the outside of our house so that Makenzy can come put that on sometime soon.  Our trim & siding along the bottom edge of our home is rotten.  We are replacing it.  What a process!  Will be glad when it will be all done.  Think we about have everything now to get it done.  I need to get the trim stained, Deke is going to remove the rotten siding & then our friends Makenzy & Ben will be helping to get the rest of it all done.
I think that Nathan & the boys are coming down again today & they can help us!

Gotta run.....
I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!

Stampin' Up!- 'Flourishing Phrases'

This is a pretty flower card!  I did the Smack Down Technique here.  Check out the diagonal layering too.  I love the way it turned out.  I learned that the more ink you use the prettier I think it turns out!

I stamped the flowers/leaf images on a piece of Whisper White card stock that measured 3 3/4 x 3 3/4".  After I got it all stamped the way I wanted it I put it into my Stampin' Trimmer & cut it at a diagonal & then split the diagonals to layer on the top of the card & the bottom of the card.
This is one of the cards everyone joining me at my August monthly classes will be making!  Woo Hoo!

Note:  I did at some gold cord behind the flower after I took this picture.  Wow- it sure adds to the card & is really pretty!

stamp set:  'Flourishing Phrases'
card stock:  Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
ink:  Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz
other:  Flourishing Thinlits, Big Shot, New Platform, Precision Plate, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals, Paper Trimmer

Yesterday was a busy day with piggies & boys!!  We got alot of little babies in....and they weighed much lighter than normal, so there was alot of sorting & moving around to get them all evened up.  The tiny ones are going to need some extra love & slop fed.  Due to the warm temps the past couple of weeks, the sows haven't been eating at much, thus they aren't milking as well either.  The piggies all look great & healthy......they are just not quite as big as they normally are when they are weaned.

The boys played outside for about 1 1/2 hours & then we came in late to take their naps.  When they all went home I worked on farm books most of the evening.

This morning Deke is off early to chore & then he'll be taking me to have a colonoscopy done.  (Oh one of the joys of getting older,)  I hope I feel good when I get home as I have a ton of card stock to get cut for this weekends classes.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!
