Happy Valentines DAY!

Today is a simple card.......but a fun fold that I was just playing with.  I'll share it in another way in a few days.  I like it that way better.  Wait until you see it!  It is super cute!

But what better way to tell someone you love them than to 

• have a heart
• say-" love you lots" 
• say "sealed with a kiss" 
• and with some lips to top it off!

Yesterday was a long day, since it started out so early with piggies.  And it was a fun day with my boys!  When they went home last night I worked on stamping stuff.

This morning I'm off to pick up the boys for the day!  We are doing to do some Valentines crafts.  The twins are super excited!  Wait until they see the monster stamp that we are going to use!  They'll love it!

Tonight Masen is staying all night with us.  Deke & I are making lettuce & dumplings for supper & taking it up to Deke's parents home to eat with them.  When I get home I'll work on stamping stuff if I can.  We'll see how my day & evening go & how well Mr. Mason cooperates with G'ma getting anything else done!

Deke is home to work on the farm all day today!  He is moving pigs.  We are busy getting ready for baby piggies that come in 2 weeks!

Another fun Valentines card!

Here is another fun Valentines card, using one of my new favorite stamp sets- 'Love Sparkles'!

Hey- check out the layer behind the red heart!

There are the framelit pieces from the Love Notes Framelits Dies' that I used!

Check out how I cut the tabs off of this framelit to make it into a heart!

I cut off of the one tab.

And then I cut off the other one!  
It is a perfect heart that layers behind the center red heart framelit image here.

Yesterday was a full day of stamping!  We all had lots of fun!  Great company & cute cards just got hand in hand!  Peggy & Heather were great hostesses!  And I appreciated all of their help.  It was a long day though!!  As I left early yesterday morning & got home early evening last night.  I was beat, so I stopped to pick up a Casey's Pizza for our supper.  By the time I ate supper & got the car all unloaded- I was ready to call it a day!

We are up EARLY this morning....at 4:00 a.m. & headed out to the farm.  We are marking, sorting & loading hogs to sell this morning.  Deke will finish choring after we are done loading them & then he'll head to the office for his weekly board meeting.

I'll run into shower quickly & head out to pick up my boys for the day!  Tonight when they are all gone home I'll be placing orders & finalizing things with my hostesses from the past weekends classes.  I also have to get the boys Valentines gifts made too- somehow/sometime tonight, before I call it a night.

Yesterday was a busy day full of stamping!!  I literally stamped all day/night!  I enjoyed the group that came to stamp with me for my morning class.  When they went home I spent the rest of the day/night working on cutting Big Shot things for my 2 stamp classes that I am having today!

I'm up early this morning & off!  Peggy & Heather are my 2 hostesses today!  I am looking forward to seeing everyone & spending my day stamping!  Woo Hoo!

Celebrate!

 I love this stamp set!  I've used it several times on many different cards!   The font & words are perfect for many different occasions. 

Years ago when I first started stamping, this is one of the first "fun folds" that I learned to do!  It is called the lattice.  I've done it a few times at classes & for a couple of Stampin' Up! cruise swaps over the years.  I thought it would be fun to do on this card!  I'll have to do this fold at an upcoming class sometime soon. 

Don't you think that this card would make a great Valentines card!  Or it could even a wedding or anniversary card too!

'Avant Garden'

Here is an elegant black & white flowery card!  I used this stemmed flower stamp to make the background on my card front!  And then used the single stem of flowers as my main focus too.

I repeatedly stamped these words on this card front & used 3 different colors of inks too!  This is a card that I made as my swap for my Iowa Inker's Team meeting.  I thought it was a fitting card for the occasion & it was fun to make!

Yesterday was a busy day with the boys.  Drake was feeling better- thankfully!  I took the boys with me & I got my hair cut.  We came home & ate lunch.  And I then cut Brody & Drake's hair!  When the boys went home last night I worked on stamping stuff all night!

This morning Deke is off to chore early & head to the office for a meeting.  He'll then be off to Mt. Pleasant for the rest of the day for another meeting.  

I'm off to go pick up the boys & take the twins to pre-school.  Trey & I will spend our day together.  We have some errands to run this morning.  

Tonight Deke & I will be spending our time together on the farm with the piggies!  Yep- tonight is my farmer night after the boys go home.

Window Box "candles"!

This is one of the cards that everyone coming to stamp with me this week for my monthly classes will be making!

I thought it turned out super cute!!  I love it!!  This candle thinlit is so neat!

I love this layout too!  I used it one of my Valentines cards that I posted here on my blog a couple of weeks ago.  You can see that Valentines card by clicking HERE!!

Check out the colors of the candles.  How did I do that?  I used a stripped piece of designer paper from the Festive Birthday behind the candle cut out.  And the the candle flames from the Stitched Framelits square that the candle thinlit is mounted on.

Yesterday was just one of those days!  It seemed that nothing went right!  Our Equinox wouldn't start, my car had a flat tire, the breaks went out of the farm truck.......sick boys, etc.

Hopefully today is a better day!  I guess we'll see!

We had a great day stamping at my class yesterday!!  I enjoyed getting to visit & stamp with everyone!  I appreciate all of those that helped set up & clean up- Deb, Dena, Jenny, Janine & Lana.

Last night we went to Nathan & Sarah's to watch the Super Bowl with them & the boys!

This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.

I will be spending my day working on bookwork!   Tonight I'll be placing orders & working on stamping stuff!  I have 4 classes this week, so I have lots of card stock to get cut.

Another 'Moon Baby'!

Paper Pieceing with 'Beatufiul You'!!

Oh gosh.....this stamp set is so fun!  Check out the paper piecing I did here using designer paper, on her dress. 

I stamped the lady/image onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.  I also stamped the exact same lady/image onto a piece of designer paper & fussy cut it out using scissors. I then glued the cut out dress onto the Whisper White stamped image.

It is soooo easy to do!  And it is just amazing how cool is looks.

Yesterday Trey & I ran errands & then hung out at home.  He loves to play games & we had lots of them out.....his favorites are Hungry Hippo, Polar Bear Express & Bongo Kongo.

I'm up early this morning & am a stamping away!  I have my monthly class in N. Liberty tomorrow.  Lana is our hostess for this morning.  And we have a great group joining us!  I can't wait to spend my time stamping & sharing with them!

'Happy Celebration'

This is a great guy card!!  I used the new set 'Happy Celebration', along with the coordinating embossing folder called- Celebrations Duo.  This neat embossing folder, actually debosses the image.  So instead of the image being raised, it is indented.
