This is another one of the cards everyone joining me at my All Occasions Card Class will be making.

The boys were so excited that they all got to ride in the tractor with Papa in the field for awhile yesterday!  Last night when they went home I rode with Deke for awhile when I took his supper to the field & then burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock.

This morning I'm off to go pick up all of my boys!  Tonight when they go home I'll be burning the midnight oil again cutting card stock.  If it rains/snows like is predicted- then Deke will be in the house tonight & he can help me do some Big Shot things.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!

This weeks "WEEKLY DEALS"- March 22-28, 2016!

Stampin' Up! 'First Sight'

Here is a pretty vintage style card.  I used the 'First Sight' stamp set & created the backed ground on the Whisper White card stock using the Archival Basic Black ink pad.
stamp set:  'First Sight'
card stock:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler
ink:  Archival Basic Black
other:  Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Basic Pearls, Banner Punch, Itty Bitty Punch Pack (Small Flower), Dimensionals, Glue Dots

It was a busy day with the boys yesterday.  I did get both Steve & Nathan's hair cut.  Then went out to help Deke for an hour or so outside.  I burnt the midnight oil working on stamping stuff!

I'm off early this morning to pick up all of the boys!  Deke is home to work on the farm all day & hopes to be working in the field.  If this happens like he has planned then he'll take each boy with him for awhile so that they can ride in the tractor.

Tonight I'll be burning the midnight oil again working on cutting card stock!!

Gotta run.....
I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday morning my sister Beckie, niece Ginny, Manda & Trey came out to our home & we designed Ginny's graduation invitations!  When they left I got all of my things unloaded from our 2 vehicles from Saturdays big card class.  I then made a quick trip to Iowa City to see my friend Judy & take her some cards!  When I got home from there I worked outside helping Deke.  It was late when we got in & made supper.  I then burnt the midnight oil trying to get caught up on things.

This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'm off early to go pick up all of my boys for the day.  Tonight Susie's Hair Hut is open for business.  We'll see how many hair cuts I get done.  Steve & Nathan both have appointments....but all of the guys in our family need theirs done.  When I'm done cutting hair I'll be burning the midnight oil cutting card stock for my (other) upcoming All Occassions card class that I have this Saturday.

Gotta run......
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!

Wow- I had a LONG day yesterday full of stamping!  It was late last night when I got home.  We had a great day stamping though!  I'm so glad that so many could join me.  It was a fun time though had by all!!!  Everyone created 40 All Occasions cards to take home with them!!

I'm up early this morning as I have tons of boxes & laundry baskets of supplies to get carried in from my car & unpacked from yesterdays stamp camp.  My sister & niece are coming to our home soon & we're making Ginny's graduation invites!  So I'm going to have another full day of stamping!!

I LOVE this!

Here is one of the cards everyone joining me for my All Occasions Card Class will be making today (& next Saturday too)!!  I love this card......the stamp set, the colors & the layout is just too cute too with the tag down the middle.  And how about the cute layering of the punches too- LOVE it!
stamp set:  'Flowering Fields' (Sale-a- bration choice) & 'Birthday Blossoms'
card stock:  Pear Pizzazz, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White
ink:  Archival Basic Black,
markers:  Wisteria Wonder & Pear Pizzazz
other:  Big Shot, Elegant Dots Embossing Folder, Wisteria Wonder 1/2" Seam Binding ribbon, Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Clear Wink of Stella Pen, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, 1 3/8"Circle Punch, Label Bracket Punch, 2" Circle Punch

I'd like to give credit for the cute layering using the Label Bracket Punch to my Stampin' Sister- Lyssa.  What a cool idea!!  And who would have thought that just turning the punch a quarter of a turn than what it shows in the catalog on pg. 166- would give it such a different look!  I LOVE it!  (Can I say that too many times?)

I had a busy day with my boys yesterday!!  They were troopers this week for me.  Hopefully it is nice enough the first part of next week & I promised them we'd go to What Cheer to play in the park & get suckers at the bank!!  That is a couple of their favorite things to do!!  I think Brody asks almost every morning if we can go to the park & get suckers at the bank.  (big smiles)

When the boys all left last night Deke & I went to South English to set up tables & chairs.  We also took a card load with all of the projects over & I got them all set up!  When we got home we mixed up chicken casseroles (my grandma Cox's yummy recipe that you refrigerate over night) & the rest of the food for today's class.  I then finished sorting orders, packing up & getting all of the little last minute details all done.  I have another full car load to take over with me this morning!

I'm off to South English soon & I'm looking forward to spending my day stamping with a great group of friends!!!  I hope they like all of the cards I created for them to stamp with me today!

I'm sure it will be late when I get home tonight.  I'll have to clean up & load everything & unload everything & unpack the car & think about gearing up for next Saturday's All Occasions Card Class in Hiawatha.

Deke will be home all day & is hoping the weather cooperates & he'll be in the field all day/night pumping.  He worked on getting the tractor, stirrer, pump & everything all ready this week in between all of his meetings & taking care of the piggies.

Gotta run......
I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!!
Happy Stamping!!

Some cute baby cards!

Here are a couple of cute baby cards.  For my All Occasions class each year I do a variety of different cards.  I always try to do a pink & a blue baby card.  This is the one that I designed for this year.  This giraffe is from the set- 'Zoo Babies'.  This set has been around awhile & I've used it many, many times.  Although this is the first time I've ever used the giraffe.  He fits perfectly on the Ornate Tag Topper Punch.

Did you notice that these cards are cut exactly the same, same stamp sets (different words) & I layered them differently.  I'm not sure which I like better.  I think that the pink one that is an asymmetrical layout is probably my favorite.

I will share more detail about these cards soon.  I'm still going 100 mph getting everything all done & ready for my 1st All Occasions class that is on Saturday!!  When the boys went home last night I was a farmer & worked outside helping Deke.  When we got in he made supper for us & I burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock.

This morning Deke is off to chore & then has a meeting in Ottumwa today.  I'm off to go pick up my boys & spend my day with them.  Late this afternoon Deke & I will head to South English to set up tables & chairs.  We'll take a car load of supplies & things with us as I gear up for tomorrow's big annual event.

Tonight when we get home I'll spend my evening in the kitchen preparing food for everyone & then finish cutting card stock & packing up!!

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!

A cute CHICK!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!!!

I wish I would have had time to created a cute green shamrock card.....it was on list of things to do- but I didn't get that far, I'm sorry.

But check out this cute chick card I made.  It is similar to the one shown on pg. 10 of the Sale-a-bration catalog.  I changed it some.....but I got my inspiration from there.  I think he is adorable!  I did fussy cut the chick out with my Paper Snips though.  I stamped the chick using the Archival Basic Black ink pad onto Crushed Curry card stock & then cut him out.
stamp set:  'Honeycomb Happiness'- Sale-a-bration choice
card stock:  Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Real Red
designer paper:  It's My Party 12x12 Designer Series Paper Stack
ink:  Archival Basic Black
markers:  Bermuda Bay (bow on balloon), Crushed Curry (feet), Pumpkin Pie (beak)
other:  Bermuda Bay Twine, Owl Punch (for the 3 small hearts), Balloon Bouquet Punch, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Paper Snips

A busy bee is what I've been.  It was another short night here.  We got groceries & then I cut card stock into the wee hours this morning again.

I'm off to go pick up the boys & spend my day with them today.  Tonight when they all go home I'm a farmer helping Deke outside, as we sell a load of hogs & do things.  When we get in from the farm I'll be a card stock cutting machine again!!

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!

A beautiful bunch of flowers!

This is another card that everyone joining me to stamp last week for my monthly March classes got to make.  I love it!  These stemmed flowers bunch came from the stamp set- 'Number of Years'.

Isn't the gold foil doily behind it just beautiful!!  I had a really hard time trying to design this card.  As you probably have noticed I usually add words to the front of my cards.  Why?  I don't know.....guess just an old habit.....and thanks to my daughter she finally convinced me that this card looked better without any words on the front of it.
stamp set:  'Number of Years'
card stock:  Gold Foil, Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White
designer paper:  2014-2016 In Color DSP
ink:  Mossy Meadow & Blackberry Bliss
other:  Big Shot, Softly Falling Embossing Folder, Basic Pearls, Bitty Butterfly Punch, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Metallic Foil Doilies, Dimensionals, Glue Dot

I burnt the midnight oil stamping last night when I got home.  I'm working on my upcoming 'All Occasions' card classes that I'm having the next 2 weekends.  I'll be a stamping fool this week!!!  And a card cutting machine too!

Deke is off this morning to chore & head to his weekly board meeting.  I'm off to go pick up my boys & spend my day with them.  When they leave tonight I'll be stamping  fool "again"!!!

A beautiful red rose!

Here is another beautiful red rose.  This is one of the cards I did at my last team meeting.  I shared with them how to do paper piecing & use Glad Press & Seal to hold all of the pieces.

Click HERE to see a purple rose card I made too!
stamp set:  'Rose Wonder' card stock:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red, Cucumber Crush ink:  Basic Black Archival other:  Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Precision Plate, Rose Garden Thinlit, Extra Large Oval Punch, Dimensionals, Wink Of Stella Glitter Pen, Big Shot Die Brush,  2 Way Glue Pen, Paper Snips
additional:  Glad Press & Seal

1.  Cut out the Rose using the thinlit & Basic Black card stock.  Press it onto the "Glad Press & Seal" so that it holds all of the pieces in their places.  Carefully pull off the black outline of the rose.
NOTE:  I saved these black inside pieces & thought I might use to make a black & ivory rose card sometime.
2.  Cut out the Rose using the thinlit & Real Red card stock.
3.  Pull off the Rose outline & save for another project!
Click HERE to see the outlined Rose card I made with my left over pieces!
4.  I cut squares appox. 3x3 & cut the leaves out with Cucumber Crush card stock, using the thinlit.
5.  I pressed both the Rose & leaves onto the Glad Press & Seal paper.
5.  I use the 2 Way Glue Pen & started paper piecing the Real Red Rose pieces into the center of the Rose & worked my way to the outside edges.
6.  When I was all done paper piecing the rose & leaves I used my Paper Snips & cut around the outside of the rose, leaving a thin white outside edge.

What do you think?   Isn't this just beautiful!  A similar project like this will be one of the many cards everyone joining me for my Spring Fling on April 23rd will be making with me.
+++++
Last night I burned the midnight oil cutting card stock.  And the guys worked in the shop late.

This morning I'm off to go pick up my boys for the day.  Gosh....it is suppose to be another nice day- so we'll be playing outside again.  I love the Spring weather we've been having.  It is great to see & hear the boys running & having fun outside with the toys & the swing set.  I'd hate to guess how many laps they made around the driveway running & riding their bikes.

Tonight I have a house full of ladies coming to stamp with me at our home for my March Stampin' Night monthly class.  I'm looking forward to seeing everyone & stamping!!!

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!
I've gotta run......
