Whimsical Trees

Wow- these are sure not traditional Christmas colors, 

but I love the way this card turned out!

What do you think?

 

Have you ever thought of combining Blushing Bride & Mint Macaron

for a Christmas card combination?

Well, I chose these colors because of the colors in this gorgeous 

Whimsy & Wonder 12x12 Specialty Paper.

#156329= $15.00 on pg. 25 in the Holiday Catalog.

And I used the coordinating Whimsical Trees Bundle-

#156810= $51.25, pg. 25 in the Holiday Catalog.

These embossed dots are from the Checks & Dots Embossing Folder.

 

I punched out a star for the top of the tree using the Starlit Punch-

#156380= $18.00, pg. 14 in the Holiday Catalog.

 

This is one of the cards that everyone attending my October stamp classes

will be making.

Here are all of the supplies & measurements so you can make this card too!

stamp set:  Whimsical Tree

card stock:

• Mint Macaron- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base
  
• Blushing Bride- 4 x 5 1/4"- emboss with Dots Embossing Folder
  
• Mint Macaron- 3/4 x 4 1/4"
  
• Mint Macaron- 2 1/4 x 4 1/4"- layer behind tag
  
• Basic White- 4 1/4" strip- die cut tag & stamp tree onto it
  
• Silver Foil- 3/4" strip- punch out star *NOTE- punch from the back side so that it punches easier & doesn't damage the foil on the front side.
  
• Mint Macaron- 1 1/2" strip- punch out scalloped oval
  
• Basic White- 1 1/2" strip- stamp words & punch out with oval punch
  
• Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card
  

designer paper:  Whimsy & Wonder DSP- 5 1/4 x 2"
