CHECK OUT THIS CUTE Wooden Star decor!

OH my gosh.....I so love how this project turned out!

I just love crafting!

And making 3D projects like this one is so much fun!

I used the Trimming the Town DSP to make this star decor!

Yes- the house, wreath & pine trees are all from the Trimming the Town DSP.

I use the 'Coming Home' stamp set to stamp the trees.

And I cut all of these images out using the Home Together Dies!

It was so fast & easy to cut these out.

I embossed 2 pieces of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" pieces of Whisper White

card stock using the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.

I then used the curved die from the Home Together Dies to get the snow hills.

 

For some added sparkle, I added some Wink of Stella to the snow edges; 

over the pine trees; on the wreath bow & 

in the center of the embossed snowflakes in the snow.

 Don't you think that this wooden star is cool!

Are you wondering how big it is?

It is 12" across from point to point.

 

  How did I do it?

• I traced around the star onto the back side of the snowflake DSP.
• I cut out the star with my scissors.
• I used the Multipurpose Glue & glued the DSP star directly over the top of the wooden star.
• I found a round bowl that was approximately 6" in diameter, traced around it- directly onto my Misty Moonlight card stock.
• I used my scissors & cut out this circle.
• I made the hills of snow with the Home Together Dies.
  
• I cut out the house, wreath & trees with the Home Together Dies.
  
• I cut a white snowflake from the So Many Snowflakes Dies.
• I added several Snowflake Adhesive-Backed Embellishments. 
• I added Wink of Stella to the trees, snow edge, center of embossed snowflakes (in the snow) & the bow on the wreath.

Stampin' Up! Press On

 Today, September 29th, 2020- is NATIONAL COFFEE DAY!

 

When I heard yesterday that today was National Coffee Day, 

I decided I needed to whip up a quick coffee card!

But this card served a dual purpose, as I had a couple of great friends

that I needed to get birthday cards mailed out to too.

So we celebrate coffee & friends today!

They are just a perfect combination in my opinion.

 

So this is a totally Susie card & I just love it!

It perks up my day & I hope it does yours too!

I used the awesome 'Press On' stamp set to make this card.

And I used Early Espresso & Petal Pink, for my color combination.

Stampin' Up! Tag Buffet Christmas Tree card

Oh wow!

Check out this GORGEOUS Christmas tree card!!

 

I was gone this past weekend for a retreat with some demonstrator friends.

They all got to make this Christmas tree card!

As I made it for one of my projects that I shared with them.

I used the Tag Buffet Project Kit on page 5 in the Mini (Holiday) Catalog.

I love the way it turned out!

 So what so you think?

Can you believe that the tree is just a punch out from a kit!

There is no coloring or anything to make it look like this!

It is so easy!!

And so fast to do.

And I just used the coordinating stamp set called- 'Tag Buffet' 

for the words that I stamped here.

 

After I got it all stamped & assembled,

I sprayed some Champagne Shimmer Mist/Alcohol onto it with my Stampin' Sprtizer.

I love the added sparkle & shine that it gave!

I whipped up this quick card for today's blog post.

I used some left over class pieces that were laying on my counter.

I used this cute little zebra from the 'Zany Zebras' stamp set.

 

It is clean & simple, neutral colored card.

 This owl is just adorable!

He brings a big smile to me.

Stampin' Up! Lots to Celebrate Jar Shaker Dome Ornament

 OH MY GOSH!

I want you to check out this totally adorable ornament that was made 

with my 'Lots to Celebrate' stamp set!

My dear friend/customer- Teri, gave this ornament to me at my 

stamp class yesterday!

I just absolutely LOVE IT!

 This is what it looks like from the side view.

It is so COOL!

 

And this is what the back side looks like!

It is just the perfect ornament- isn't it!

 

I will be making something like this ornament as one of the projects

My heart is overflowing with so much gratitude!!!  I am proud & honored & thankful that I am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator & get to share my love of stamping with so many friends!!!  I especially LOVE connecting with my friends/customers in person!!!  And I have so missed seeing everyone these past few months during the pandemic.  It was just wonderful yesterday to catch up & see so many of my you!  I am just very grateful for so MANY things in my life!  And all of you are some of the many blessings that I have.

Basic Black- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base

Smoky Slate- 5 1/2 x 1"

Basic Gray-4 x 3 3/4"

Whisper White- 2 1/2" Circle; strip for words

 And here is the card I made with my version of this sketch!

I added a couple layers & changed it up a bit.

But my idea on this layout started from this sketch!

 I made another black & white card using the 'Fancy Phrases' stamp set.

I added some Champagne Shimmer Mist/Alcohol Spray to this for some added sparkle!
