Circle stamping!

I love to use my Stamparatus!!
And it is super cool to do "Circle Stamping" with it.
I've had a few of you ask me how I do it!

If you are local & have attended a class of mine- you have got to do it yourself a few times.
But here is a tutorial on how to use your Stamparatus to do Circle Stamping!
If you have any questions- don't hesitate to contact me.

#1. First you are going to cut a 5 1/2" x5 1/2" card stock template.
Fold it in half & then in half again so that you have fold lines to line up the points of your square framelit.
This way you will have it perfectly centered.

#2. Using the LARGEST square in the Layering Squares Framelits- cut it out.

#3. It will look like this when it is cut.
NOTE:  SAVE this square you just cut out- it is what you are going to stamp on later.
#4. Then turn the square framelit, line up the fold marks & cut it again like this.
#5. It will then look like this.
#6.  You will have 4 of these little triangles that you throw away.
#7.  The first Whisper White Square you cut out- you save! This is what you will stamp your images onto.

#8.  Lay your CLEAN stamp image, with image side down, directly onto your card stock where you want to stamp.

#9.  Then shut the Stamparatus lid- so that your stamp image sticks to it.
#10.  Ink your stamp, shut plate & press onto card stock to make your flower image(s).
NOTE:  I like to use spots when I'm stamping with my Stamparatus.  You can use your big ink pad, but often you get ink onto the plate, so you'll then want to use your shammy to wipe it off.
#11.  Turn your card stock clockwise & stamp another flower.

NOTE:  Your card stock will fit perfectly into all points as you turn it one 'notch' each time you stamp you flower onto it.  Do you see the pattern on how to do it?  So you aren't ever moving your stamp, but you are moving your paper.

You can SAVE this square cut out template & use it over & over again!!
12.  This is what you are trying to achieve to accomplish!!!

NOTE:  Sometimes you have to 'play' with where you want to put your stamp image to start with.  Cut multiple white squares to try until you get the stamp in the right spot so that the flowers (or image you are using) aren't over lapping.  Once you get your stamp where you want it- you don't have to move it & you can just make multiples cards. You are all set to stamp over & over again!
Here is the stamp set I used to make the card.  It is called- 'Bouquet Blooms'.
And here is my finished card.
You can CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THIS CARD!
This is another card that I did the circle stamping on too with the leaves.

Yesterday was a busy day with Masen & Ainslee.  When they went home I worked on stamping stuff & Deke worked late in the field.  I made a late supper for him when he got in & we called it a night.  We were both beat.

This morning we are up early at 5:00 a.m to mark, sort & load hogs.  So I'll be a farmer helping Deke.  Sometime today I'll have Masen & Ainslee for awhile.  I have errands to run in town too.  Tonight I'll be a stamping fool!

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!
Happy Stamping!

So this stamp set- 'Time for Tea', just warms my heart!!  I love it!!

I collect old cups & saucers.  Plus I'm a coffee & hot tea drinker.  So this set is a perfect fit for me.  The words in the stamp set are super cute too!

Notice how I stamped the cup/saucer onto a strip of designer paper & cut it out with the framelits.  I added a Gold Metallic Pearl in the center of it.
To dress it up & add some glimmer I used some Gold Foil too.

Circle stamping with 'Vibrant Vases'

These colors & this card makes me think of Spring!  Isn't it a pretty card!  I just love the way it turned out.

I used my Stamparatus & the 'Vibrant Vases' stamp set to make the flower wreath.

CLICK HERE to see my tutorial on how to do Circle Stamping with your Stamparatus!

I stamped the flowers and then I didn't reink them before I stamped them again.  I call this shadow stamping.  With stamping it this way I could have both light & dark shades of flowers with just one ink pad.

If you are signed up to attend my Spring Fling next weekend- you'll be making a version of this card in different colors.
stamp sets:  'Vibrant Vases'
card stock:
  • Daffodil Delight-
  • Granny Apple Green-
  • Whisper White-
designer paper:  Gingham Gala DSP
ink:  Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green
other:  Granny Apple Green ribbon, Basic Pearls, Stamparatus, Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Layering Squares Framelits, Dimensionals, Glue Dots
++++++++
I will be stamping all day today!  I have a couple friends coming to stamp with me this morning & then I'll be working on Spring Fling projects the rest of the day/night.  So I pray that I have good mojo.  I got my box of new products from the upcoming Annual catalog that we could pre-order as a demonstrator that attended On Stage!  I can't wait to play with the New In Colors & other things too!

I hope you have a SPECIAL Saturday!
Happy Stamping!

'Bouquet Blooms' Circle stamping!

This is a clean & simple card.  But it was a fun one that I did at my last team meeting.  I did the the circle stamping (also called round to round).  I used my Stamparatus & stamped the flowers in the circle layout.

I also used the new Mango Melody card stock & coordinating ink pad.
stamp set:  'Bouquet Blooms'
card stock:  Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Whisper White
designer paper:  Garden Impressions (6x6 stack)
ink:  Mango Melody
Stampin' Write Marker:  Melon Mambo (I used this in the center of the flowers)
other:  1 3/8" Scalloped Circle Punch, 1 1/2" Circle Punch, 1/8" Whisper White ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Glue Dots

I have some step-by-step photos to share with you sometime next week, when I can find time to get them all downloaded.  So you'll have to stop back by & check them out.

Yesterday was a busy day with kids.  Last night I went to town to water Manda's plants & get their mail.  And then I worked on orders & bookwork.  I made a quick (late night trip) to What Cheer to make a night deposit & finally called it a night around 11:00.  Not getting any sleep last weekend was catching up with me.

This morning I'm up early to walk & spend my day with 2 Wood kids.  The Seeley family is home from their vacation, so I'll see them sometime today too for a bit.  Tonight I'll be finishing up placing orders & connecting with my hostess.  And I hope I have time to stamp for my upcoming team meeting that I have on Saturday afternoon!

Have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Caterpillar

Here is my guest stamper.......Ainslee!

We didn't have school on Monday- so we made caterpillar cards.
This is the caterpillar card that she made.
She punched out all of the circles by herself & glued them down.
I helped her with the feet & the stitching that I made
with my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.
She choose the words & stamped them herself!
She is a great little stamper/crafter!
Doesn't this caterpillar just make you smile?
He sure does make me smile!

Several years ago I made a card similar to this with the twins.
I think it is just so cute!
Here are the supplies & measurements.

Stampin' Up! Mini Pizza Box & note card

I will be sharing some holiday Crafting fun and create projects that will bring JOY to you
and other is upcoming Christmas season!

So check out today's Project #4, as it is another fun gift holder!
This is actually a little pre-made box!
It is soooo easy to just fold to assemble.

And check out my fun origami Christmas tree fold I decorated my box & note card with!
 NOTE:
The circle for the tree I used on the box is a 6" diameter circle, cut in half.
The circle for the tree I used on the note card is a 3" diameter circle, cut in half.

I used the Mini Pizza Box-#144645= $6.00 (8)- page 152 in the Annual Catalog
And check out the cute 3x3 Note Card I made to match it!
3x3 Envelopes- #145829= $10.00 (40)- page 153 in the Annual Catalog

You can add a gift card, cash, chocolate or any other little gift inside of it!

You can check out my other gift projects by clicking below.
Here is my 3x3 note card.
And I added some coordinating DSP to the back side of the envelope!
See how the note card fits perfectly into the Mini Pizza Box.
Just think of the endless possibilities of other items you can put into the box too!

**When folding an origami tree like this, I had to try to find
a piece of DSP that was green on both sides.

Here are my pieces......
I randomly stamped words, using Real Red ink onto a piece
of 3 1/2 x 3 1/2" Real Red card stock.
I cut a little scrap of Early Espresso card stock for the tree trunk.
I cut out a star out of Gold Foil Paper.
I folded some DSP to make this tree!
I added the Real Red Rhinestones onto the tree.

I did ruffle the bottom edge of the tree with my finger nails
too to make them stand up some.
I added some DSP strips around the edges of the box & adhered the tree in the center of it!
stamp set:  'Tree Angle'
card stock
  • Real Red- 3 1/2 x 3 1/2"- for outside of box; 2 3/4 x 2 3/4"- for the outside of the card
  • Early Espresso- 1/2 x 1/2"- for tree trunk for the box; 1/4 x 1/2"- for the tree trunk for the card
  • Gold Foil- 1" strip- die cut star for the box; 1/2" strip- punch out star for the card
  • Whisper White-6 x3"- score at 3"- for note card
designer paper:
Heartwarming Hugs DSP-
  • 6" Circle for the box- cut in half
  • 3" Largest Stitched Circle from the Stitched Shapes Die for the card
  • 4 strips that are 3/4 x 3 5/8" each, to go around the outside edges of the box
ink:  Real Red
other:  Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine; Stitched Shapes Dies (largest Circle); Happy Dies (for Star for box); Stitched Stars (for star for the card); Real Red Rhinestones; Mini Pizza Box; dimensionals; glue dots
Here are my 2 Mini Pizza Boxes....
and they both have a 3x3 note card & envelope inside of them!

Leave me a comment below & I will be mailing someone one of these boxes!
I traced a bowl to make my 6" Circle.
I cut the circle out with my Paper Snips.
I cut the circle in half, as you only need 1/2 of this circle to make one tree.
So out of this whole circle, you will get 2 trees!
#1- fold circle half like this.
#2- fold it back like this, lining it up directly with the folded edge.
#3- flip it over & fold down the back side.
I did not measure when folding these.
I just lined up the edges as shown in the photos above.
Maybe my little pie diagram drawing will help you out!
This is what it looks like when all folded.

I learned to do a fun tree fold like this years ago.
But my inspiration for today's trees came from my dear friend, Claire Daly from Australia.
Claire was our table mate on one of our SU! trips a few years ago.
She is just a lovely person & so very talented!
Deke & I were blessed to get to sit with her each evening for our dinner.
We are very lucky to have had the opportunity to get to know her.

Have a MARVELOUS Monday!
Happy Stamping!

Notice how the top of the card flips up like this.
And the bottom of the card flips downward like this.
Here are the different pieces I stamped & die cut to make the cup of latte.
I used the Multipurpose Glue to attach the whipped top
to the cup.
I used a glue dot to attach the cinnamon stick.
Then notice how I used Tear & Tape to secure the pieces together
(without peeling off the backing).
How did I do it?
I saved the DSP 1/2 circle that I punched out.
I stamped the cup onto it, along with the word- "Spice".
I then fussy cut it out with Paper Snip Scissors
and adhered it to the cup with 2 dimensionals.
The latte cup is attached to the lower edge of the top flap of the card.
AND
The little pumpkin is popped up with a dimensional & serves as
a 'latch' to keep the top flap down.
