Happy Hibiscus Bundle Latch Slider card

This is a fun Latch Slider card!

Isn't it so pretty!

 

This is one of the cards that everyone joining me at my

April monthly stamp classes will be making!

 

I made a Latch Slider card a few years ago.

This is a gate fold card.

The flowers are attached to a circle latch & they just slide off.

This is what the card looks like when it is opened up! 

 

How did I make the Latch Slider?? 

I used 4 different circles.

*1- Die cut Circle from Spotlight on Nature dies- it is approx. 2 3/4" diameter

*1- 2 1/2" Circle

*2- 2 3/4" Circles- fold these both in half

*You will now adhere the circles all together to make the latch.

Look how I adhered them together.....

 

The 2 circles that are folded in half are attached to the 

2 1/2" Fresh Freesia Circle as shown above.

NOTICE that I over lapped the folded circles over each other just a bit.

You will want to make sure they are over lapped.

If you do not over lap these 2 circles like shown above, 

then you will have a wider gap on your card front.

So it is very important to make sure that they are over lapped.

 

Now you will adhere the other side of the folded white circles to the 

back side of the die cut LARGER Circle.

 

NOW add your flowers & yours leaves to the die cut LARGER Circle.

I suggest that you slide it onto your card when adding these.

As that way you'll get them in the correct spot that you want them.

I added the flowers with dimensionals.

And I added the leaves & the word strip using Glue Dots.

stamp sets:

• 'Happy Hibiscus'- flowers & words on card front
• 'Layering Leaves'- words for inside of card- LAST CHANCE LIST

card stock:

• Fresh Freesia- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 2 1/8" & 6 3/8"- fold for card base
• Fresh Freesia-  3" strip- die cut circle (approx. 2 3/4" from Stylish Shapes Dies
• Fresh Freesia- 2 3/4" strip- punch out 2 1/2" circle using RETIRED 2 1/2" Circle Punch
• Basic White- 2 x 5 1/4" (x2)- emboss with Happy Hibiscus 3D Embossing Folder
• Basic White- 2 3/4" strip- punch out 2 circles using the 2 3/8" Circle Punch
• Basic White- 3/4" strip- stamp words onto & diagonally cut ends with Paper Snips Scissors
  
• Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card
  
• Shy Shamrock- 2" strip- die cut 3 leaves

ink:  Fresh Freesia

other:  Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine; Happy Hibiscus 3D Embossing Folder; Specialty Plate; Happy Hibiscus Dies; Spotlight on Nature Dies; 2 3/8" Circle Punch; Tinsel Gems 3 Pack- LAST CHANCE LIST; dimensionals; glue dots

retired:  2 1/2" Circle Punch
