I love the way it turned out.
This is one of the cards that everyone stamping with me at my
April monthly stamp classes will be making.
See how the cross pops up!
Neat huh!
The cool part is that the card will lay flat too & fit perfectly into an envelope.
Basic White CS- 5 x 5 1/4"
Score at 1 3/8"; 1 7/8"; 3 1/8" & 3 5/8"

Here are the supplies & measurements for you.
stamp set: 'Loveliest Tree' (words)
card stock:
- Misty Moonlight- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold in half for card base
- Basic White- 5 x 5 1/4"- score at 1 3/8"; 1 7/8"; 3 1/8" & 3 5/8"
- Basic White- 1 1/4 x 3 1/4"- for center cross
- Basic White- 2" strip- stamp words & punch out. I used a retired 1 1/2" Circle Punch.
- Basic White- 2" strip- punch out flowers
- Old Olive- 1" strip- punch out leaves
designer paper: Country Lace DSP-
- 1 1/4 x 5" (x2) for outside edges of card front
- 1 x 5"- for cross
- 1 x 3"- for cross
ink: Misty Moonlight
other: Simply Scored Scoring Tool; Petal Park Builder Punch- LAST CHANCE LIST; Tinsel Gems 3 Pack- LAST CHANCE LIST; dimensionals; glue dots
retired: 1 1/2" Circle Punch

How does it fold down? It looks as though the cross would extend beyond the sides of the card.
ReplyDeleteThe way I have it scored- makes it fold flat perfectly into the envelope & does not hang over. :)
