Sweets & Treats Side-Step Easel Fun Fold

 

WOW!

 This is a fun fold card that is a side-step easel card!

I just think it is sooo cute & love the way it turned out.

It is a totally Susie card & just "yummy"!

 

I used the cute stamp set- 'Sweets & Treats' when creating it.

This is what the card looks like when it is standing up!

Isn't it neat!

 Here are the patterns....

Base card is 5 1/2 x 8"- score at 3", 6" & 7"

Stand up piece is- 3 1/4 x 6"- score at 4 1/4"

• On this piece you'll add Tear & Tape to the back side of it like shown.

• Notice here is where I attached the piece to the front side of the card base.

NOTE:  I added a DSP strip along the bottom of my completed card 

above BEFORE I adhered these 2 pieces together.   

• I folded the base flat, tore of the Tear & Tape strip & adhered this to the BACK TOP EDGE of the card front!

 NOTE:  This photo is the back/top side of the card.

This is what the card looks like when the card is opened up!

Notice that I added some Wink of Stella for sparkle to the frosting on this cake.

 

Here are the supplies & measurements.

stamp sets:  'Sweets & Treats' & 'Merriest Moments' (words)

card stock:

• Cherry Cobbler- 5 1/2 x 8"- score at 3", 6" & 7"- this is the card base
• Cherry Cobbler- 3 1/4 x 6"- score at 4 1/4"- put Tear & Tape on the BACK SIDE top & bottom edges of this piece.
• Basic White- 3 x 4"- stamp cake & words onto this for card front
• Cinnamon Cider- 1 3/4" strip- punch out scalloped oval
• Basic White- 1 1/2" strip- stamp words onto & punch out with oval punch
• 2 3/4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card
  

designer paper:  Sweet Stockings DSP-

• 2 3/4 x 5 1/4"- goes on the upper part of the card front
• 3/4 x 5 1/4"- goes along the bottom edge of the card front
  

ink:  Memento

Stampin Blends:  Dark Old Olive; Dark Cherry Cobbler; Dark Daffodil Delight; Dark Crumb Cake

other:  Simply Scored Scoring Tool; Double Oval Punch; Gold 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon; Wink of Stella; Tear & Tape; dimensionals; glue dots
