Christmas countdown

The countdown is on......it is less than 5 weeks to Christmas now.
OH my.....

Here are a couple of CUTE cards I made.
The inside has a POP UP GIFT BAG in it!
The Real Red piece around the center of the card is a belly band that just slides off!
Check out the Pines that are embossed on the top of the card front.
I used the Wintry 3D PINE Embossing Folder.
The bottom half of the card & the tree are from the
Heartwarming Hugs DSP pack.
This is the exact same card, just using a different DSP pattern
on the bottom, from the Heartwarming Hugs DSP pack.
Now check this out......
Look at the pop up inside little gift bag I made.
Isn't it cute!!
It is made out of DSP & is perfect for cash or a gift card,
or a small gift of some type.
There is no true "bottom" to this gift bag.
The bottom flaps of the gift bag butt right up to the fold of the card.
Adhere the bag as shown.
Then remove this piece of Tear & Tape that is on the bag
& SHUT THE CARD!
The gift bag will then be secured directly in the fold of the card.
See what the bottom of the gift bag looks like when stuck down.
The slit in the bottom of the gift bag is directly in the fold of the card.
Here are the supplies & measurements.

  3. I love this idea! I'm trying to replicate and I have a question about the pop-up bag. I'm not clear on how to secure the bottom of the bag such that it will fold flat with the card. Any pointers you can provide? I'd love to be able to share this with my customers Thank you!

    1. Check out the 3 new photos I just added above using the NEW Sweet Talk DSP. Notice how the bottom of the gift bag is attached directly on the fold of the card! :)
