A quick pop on to say "HI"!

I am literally buried in card stock right now.....so I won't be doing any blog post until after this weekends big Holiday Extravaganza class that I'm hosting.

Here is a sneak peek! This is what I'm working on right now! Check out these embossed snowflakes that are on the Two-Toned Pool Party CS that is a white centered paper. I love how I can emboss it, then lightly sand it & the snowflakes turn white & pop out!! :)

Pumpkin triple flap fun fold card

 

Here is a sweet pumpkin card!!

This is a triple flap fun fold card.

Everyone stamping with me at my October monthly

This is what the card looks like when opened up.

Notice that it is a center fold card.

2 of the flaps are attached to the left side of the card

& the center one is attached to the right side.

 How did I make the pumpkin?

*Cut a strip of 1 3/4" card stock.

*Punch out 3 of the "bee bodies" to make the pumpkin.

*Using Paper Snip Scissors cut the tips off of 2 of them, making them ovals.

*I colored the stem of the center oval using a Dark Pebbled Path Stampin' Blend.

 *Angle cut the 'stem' so that it isn't pointed. (as shown in the photo)

*Adhere the 3 ovals together to form the pumpkin!

*Make sure that the stemmed piece is in the center & adhere the other 2 ovals BEHIND this center piece.

*Add dimensionals to the back side of the pumpkin & adhere it to the tag.

Fall Leaf baby wipe card

I did the baby wipe technique.

How did I do the baby wipe technique when stamping leaves?

 

I folded a baby wipe in quarters & put inside a clear case. 
Then add drops of ink refill onto it. 
I used Old Crushed Curry, Copper Clay & Crumb Cake. 
Then press stamp into the baby wipe- using this as your ink pad. 
Stamp leaves around edges of Basic White card stock.

 

Notice how I embossed leaves onto the card front too.

Reindeer Fun

 

Check out this CUTE little reindeer.

Here I stamped the deer onto some different colors of card stock 

to try to decide what color I wanted them to be.

Honestly- I like the Pecan Pie deer the best.

But it was too dark when I put it onto this card.

So I choose Crumb Cake.

And then I decided I would lightly color the deer 

using Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends too!

My Uncle Jerry White passed away & his funeral is today.

He was a great man & will missed by us all.

He was always so fun to be around & had a great sense of humor.

He was my God Father.  

Last night we went to his visitation & spent time with family afterwards.

Today is his funeral.

Please keep my Aunt Kathy & family in your prayers as we morn his passing.

So I probably won't have time to do any blog posts until next Monday!

As I'm buried in getting card stock cut & everything ready for this weekends classes.

This 'Love & Strength' stamp set has some great words in it. 

Check out all of these curtains I have folded for class.   

Here is the pattern on how I made this fun 'curtain' fold.

*3 x 10"- score at 2", 3", 5", 6", 8" & 9"- 

*diagonally cut from the 2" mark to 1 1/4" from the top right side as shown in the photo above.

*Now pleat the dsp strip.
