This is one of the cards that everyone made at my Holiday Extravaganza, the end of October.  It has a glitter window & it is a fun fold!
This is what it looks like standing up.
This is what it looks like opened up.

The idea of using this stamp set with a glitter window, came from my demonstrator friend- Ruth Bingle that lives in California.  She sent me a card she had made & I sprung off of her idea to create this totally different card.  Thanks Ruth for the great idea!  I haven't done a glitter window for several years.
I colored the candles/poinsettia/ribbon, using my Stampin' Blends.  Their colors are so vibrant in person, with this glitter window over it!

A cute Cup of Christmas- Mug!

It is a 'Cup of Christmas' treat that I'm sharing with you today!  This is one of the projects everyone made with me at my Holiday Extravaganza the end of October!

This stamp set- 'Cup of Christmas' is on page 34 in the Holiday Catalog.  Check it out!  The cups in this stamp set are Reversibles- which means you can turn them over, so that you can get a left handed handle image or a right handed handle image!  This is something new & so cool!

I love hot drinks- coffee, tea, hot chocolate, chai, etc.   So when I first saw this stamp set I instantly fell in love with it!  This stamp set has coordinating Cup of Cheer Dies to go with it too- Woo hoo!
Look closely at the cool whip OR marshmellows that I added to the top of the cup!  How did I make them?  I used the Scalloped Tag Punch & a 1 1/2 x  2 3/4" strip.  NOTE:  You'll need to cut it a little shorter after you punch it, before you adhere it underneath the cup.  I added Wink of Stella over the top of the the marshmellows.

I bought the little wooden spoon on amazon......and tied it on with our pretty Red Curly Ribbon!
I shared at my class how you could add a few dimensionals along the bottom & side edges of this card & turn it into a pouch & slide a Hot Chocolate package (or another treat) into it & give it as a gift!

stamp set:  'Cup of Christmas'
card stock:
  • Rel Red-5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4 & fold in half for card base- then fold top corner down at an angel; 4 1/4 x 1/2"- pop up with dimensionals- so that your spoon handle can slide down into this
  • Pool Party- 3 1/2" strip- die cut circle

Yesterday was a fun day of stamping with some of my Iowa Inkers team that could join me to stamp!!  They all went home with 7 cute cards, made using NEW Mini & Sale-a-bration products!  I'll share all of these cards with you, within the next few weeks here on my blog!

Last night we went to Manda & Steve's home to visit & eat supper together, along with Nathan & Sarah's family.  We visited & watch the Home Alone movie together!  I am not sure what is funnier- the movie or listening to everyone laughing as we were watching it!  When we got home, Deke & I watched a cute Christmas movie on the Hallmark station.  I slept so good last night!  I was just beat- as I had had a great, but very busy day& not much sleep the night before.

Today we are soon headed out to go pick up my mom & then meet our family in Des Moines.  Nathan, Sarah & family; Manda, Steve & boys; Deke & I; my mom; and our nephew Josh, Kacie & kids- are all going to see Disney on Ice this afternoon!  It will be lots of fun!  This is an annual event that we have done for many years, together as a family!  I know I'm excited to see it!  And the kids are all super excited too!

Tonight when we get home Deke will be working late on the farm & I'll be stamping!  I have LOTS to get picked up & put away from yesterday's team meeting.  As I have a whole house full of kids tomorrow (no school)- so have lots to get done before then!

I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!

LOTS of Tulips- a sneak peek!

Check out this beautiful card!  This is one that was one of the make & takes that I made at On Stage. We used NEW upcoming Mini Catalog products to create it!

Check out these gorgeous tulips & the coordinating punch!  Aren't they just so pretty!

The punch matches the large tulip & the popped up leaf.  The little tulips I had to fussy cut out using my Paper Snips!
I stamped the pieces for this card at On Stage, but assembled my card at home.  I added some ribbon & an extra little strip of card stock to it- so make it more of a Susie card.

If you look closely at the tulips, can you tell that I added some Wink of Stella to all of them for some added sparkle?

This card reminds me of my Grandma Cox.  She had a beautiful tulip garden in her yard.  Oh how I have so many fond memories of staying at my Grandma's farm.  I sure hope our grandkids can say that about us someday!

stamp set:  'Timeless Tulips'
card stock:

Modern Heart

Last week was Manda's birthday!  And I finally got to stamp & made this special card for her!  I think it turned out pretty cute!  It looks like her!  She said she liked it!

I LOVE this Modern Heart stamp set.  Modern is exactly what it is.  The words & the font in this this stamp set are fun too!  Check it out on page 51 in the Annual Catalog.

If you look closely at the card you can see that I used the swish stamp 2 times.  I stamped it off & over the heart image & then stamped it again full strength behind the heart.

I love Wink of Stella, as you can never have too much sparkle!  I added it over some of the triangles in the heart image & then over the top of the 3 little hearts too.
I used several new product that I just got! So it was fun creating this for her.

The cool die cut "Happy" words are from the Word Wishes Dies.   They too are super cool!  Check them out on page 197 in the Annual Catalog.

I purposely added 3 hearts & 3 rhinestones onto her card, to represent her 3 boys- Brody, Drake & Trey.

stamp set:  'Modern Heart' & 'Well Said'
card stock:
  • Highland Heather- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base, 5 x 1/2"; 2 3/4 x 2 3/4"; 1 1/2" strip- die cut words "Happy"
  • Purple Posy- 5 x 3 3/4"; 2 3/4" strip- stamp heart onto this & fussy cut out with Paper Snips
  • Whisper White- 1/2" x 1 1/2"- stamp words "birthday" onto this; 4 x 5 1/4"- for outside layer of card; 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card
ink:  Highland Heather
other:  Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon- 6", Noble Peacock Rhinestones, Wink of Stella, Paper Snips

NOTE:  There is no ink pad to go with the Purple Posy ink pad.  But do note that the Highland Heather ink pad is a great accent color to go with this card stock!

Yesterday started out early for us- selling hogs & then working all day!  I took the Seeley boys to school & spend my day with Masen & Ainslee.  Last night I worked on stamping stuff!

This morning I'm headed to Manda's.  I'll take the twins to school & then spend my day with Trey & Ainslee.  Tonight the Wood Gang are all going to our annual movie outing.  There will be 17 of us- Josh, Kacie & kids; Nathan, Sarah & kids; Manda, Steve & boys; Deke & me- again this year!  (Everyone, but Brayden, as he can't join us this year- darn). We'll go to McDonald's for supper & then to the $5.00 movie night.  We are going to See Frozen II- so I can't wait!  I will probably like it better than the boys do.  After that movie is over with, Midway is playing for the late movie.  Deke suggested that he & I stay to watch it.  I'd love to......but not sure we can stay awake that late, as it is a long movie.  We'll see.  It is a movie that we'd both really like to see.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

The very first time I looked at the Holiday Catalog- this Snowman Bundle was my favorite!  I love snowmen.  But I was just truly wowed by the whole suite!  It is totally adorable!

If you came to one of my many Christmas Stamp-a-Stack classes in November, then you got to make this card.  I gave the option on whether you wanted to make it with the scarf or without the scarf!

The scarf if from the Let It Snow Embellishment kit that is part of this suite!
This snowman's smile just shows joy to me!

If you look closely you can see how I embossed the Pool Party card stock, using the Winter Knit Embossing Folder.  Check it out on page 19 in the Holiday Catalog!  It too is part of this Snowman (Let it Snow) Suite!!  WOW!
I added Wink of Stella on the snowman & underneath him- to add a little shimmer & make it look more like real snow!

Yesterday morning we got up, fed the kids breakfast & took Brayden to school.  I spent my day with Masen & Ainslee.  Their grandpa Doug (Sarah's dad) took Brayden & Masen to the uni-dome last night to watch their cousin play football.  Ainslee was home with Grandma & Papa.  Doug dropped the boys off here on his way home from the football game & they went right to bed.

Today Deke will be home to work on the farm all day!  Brayden is hoping he gets to go out & help him.  I'll hang out with the little ones.

I hope you have a SUPER Saturday!!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs-
