Another Sneak Peek- Free As A Bird

Check out this awesome card using NEW products!

When we were in Utah in March & I stamped with Shelli & Sara.  And this is a card that Shelli made.  She used the Whisper White Note Cards & Envelope- #131527.

Here are the NEW products from the Bird Ballard Suite that were used to make this card. These NEW products will be available on June 4th, 2019!
  • 'Free As A Bird'- stamp set
  • Bird Ballard DSP
  • Stitched Nested Label Dies
Isn't this just so pretty!  She said that this stamp set reminded her of her sister that had just passed away last March.  I love how she cut out the Label from the Black card stock & then layered a White Label with the words in it over the cut out part (popping it up with dimensionals).
+++++++
Yesterday was a busy day with all 5 kids.  The weather was cold & rainy.  We did go outside to play for about 45 minutes in the afternoon (in between rains).  When the kids went home last night I worked on stamping stuff!

I'm up early this morning to work on swaps (for my team meeting I have this weekend).  And then I'll spend my day with the kids.  Tonight we are suppose to race- but I'm sure they will be cancelled due to all of the rain we've had lately.  And then Brayden, Brody & Drake are all suppose to have baseball games.  If they don't get cancelled- Deke will probably go to one of their games.  I wish I could go- but I have too much to do to get ready for my weekend classes.

Gotta run.....
I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
Happy Stamping!

'Free As A Bird'- sneak peek!

Happy Memorial Day!!
Today we salute the many men & women that have served our country.  And we also remember all of our loved ones that have passed too!
WOW- Check out this sneak peek!  This is a card that everyone made at my Spring Fling last month.

When Deke & I were in Utah in March for my Celebration, I stamped with Sara & Shelli.  Shelli made this card when we were stamping, just especially for my Spring Fling event!  Isn't her card just gorgeous! It is so her stamping style!  I love it!!

She used the Whisper White note cards (pg. 193- #131427- Whisper White Note cards & envelopes), along with the new set- 'Free As A Bird' & the coordinating Bird Ballard DSP!! (that will be available on June 4th, 2019)

Check out the beautiful Petal Pink Organdy Striped ribbon here- which will be available on June 4th, 2019 too!!

NOTE:  Shelli used the Bird Ballard DSP on the card she made.  I didn't have enough of that DSP for my class, so on the bird card I'm sharing today (& the one for my Spring Fling) I changed her card & used the RETIRING DSP called- Twinkle Twinkle.   As this DSP is very similar to the Petal Pink dotted DSP in the Bird Ballard pack.

Do you see how she used the DSP to cover the flap of the note card envelope here too?  COOL!
How did Shelli do the bird?
  • 2 x 2" Watercolor Paper
  • Use the embossing buddy
  • Stamp bird onto the Watercolor Paper using a Versamark ink pad.
  • Put Black Embossing Powder over it, tap off access & using the Heat Tool- you will heat emboss it.
  • Using an Aqua Painter with Petal Pink & Crumb Cake ink- color the bird.

Here are the supplies used on the card shown above-
stamp set:  'Free as A Bird'- available on June 4th, 2019
card stock:  Water Color paper, Whisper White Note Cards & Envelope- #131527
DSP:  Twinkle Twinkle- 2 1/4 x 2 1/4"
inks:  Petal Pink, Crumb Cake & Versamark
other:  Heat Tool; Black Embossing Powder; Embossing Buddy; Petal Pink Organdy ribbon- available June 4th, 2019; dimensionals; Aqua Painter

Yesterday I spent all day doing book work.  We then went the twins baseball game & out to the lake to eat supper with our kids.  It was fun!  It was a gorgeous day/night- out.
I am not done yet with my book work- so will work on it some tonight.  Today I'll be helping Deke on the farm.  We will hopefully get to the cemeteries yet tonight.
I hope you have a MARVELOUS MEMORIAL DAY!!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday was a fun day!  I went with my friend Crystal & enjoyed our time together. We use to work together & I miss seeing her.  So it was great catching up on things.  We each made an ornament at a Glass Blowing Class & then did some site seeing around the Keosauqua area.  I hadn't ever been that direction, so I learned & saw alot of places & things I hadn't ever done or seen before!
Last night we went to Lake Belva Deer to eat supper with our kids & visit!  It was fun too!  The kids were having a blast riding their scooters & we went & played in the park for awhile too.  It was late when we went home.  I got this post ready & we called it a night.
Today I've got piles of farm & stamping book work to try to catch up on.  We need to go to the cemeteries yet & we might go back to the lake tonight for supper & visiting.  We'll see how our day goes & what the weather is like & what we end up doing.

I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!

Check out this NEW Catalog Sneak Peek!

It is clean & simple & I love it!  What do you think?

Look at this gorgeous Bird Ballard DSP that I used in the background on this card.  Don't you think it works perfectly like this?  I then just stamped the birds/branch/leaves onto a piece of Whisper White CS, colored it with my Stampin' Blends & cut it out with my Paper Snips!

If you look closely you can see the pearls & Wink of Stella that I added to the flowers on the DSP.

Yesterday was a busy day on the farm!  Thankfully it all worked out that I didn't have the kids, due to the weather.  We got drenched!  It was cold & wet in the morning & warm in the afternoon.  But the trucker was great, the pigs look good & it all worked out.  Every muscle in my body hurts!  I hope I can move today!

Last night the baseball games were cancelled (due to the rain),  So I worked on stamping stuff for a little bit & called it a night.....

This morning Deke is off to chore & head to the boys soccer games.  I'm up early to walk & get some bookwork done.  I'm then off to take a glass blowing class in Keosauqua with my friend Crystal.  This is something I've never done before!  I was so excited when she asked me to join her! It will be fun!  I can't wait!

Tonight we plan to go to Lake Belva Deer to visit all of our family- as they are camping there.  I hope it doesn't rain all weekend!

Wishing you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!!

Check it out!  This is another NEW Annual catalog stamp set called- 'To A Wild Rose'.  It is a great bundle with several different images in it.  I LOVE the words and the font!  They are super cute!  This stamp set was designed by a dear stampin' friend of mine & Million Dollar Achiever-  Mary Ellen Byler.

Everyone attending my Spring Fling last month made this card with me!

Yesterday was a busy day!  I took the twins to school & then spend my day with the 3 little ones.  We were outside for quite awhile in the morning playing.  All 3 big boys rode the bus here after school.  Then I went with Brayden to his baseball game.  He had a great hit out into the outfield & he had a great out field catch.  They won 17 to 2.  We then took his Grandpa Mark with us & all headed to the races.  Nathan got 2nd in his heat & he got 2nd in the main.

This morning Deke is up early to chore & is headed to Ottumwa for 2 meetings today.  I'm headed out to pick up Brayden, then go get the twins & take the 3 boys to school.  I'll spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Tonight we are finally home & I will be a stamping fool- I have lots to get done.

What crappy weather we have been having!  Cold, wet & dreary!  We need warmer weather, sunshine & no rain!

Yesterday we played games & tried to keep occupied being stuck in the house.  The boys learned to play some new card matching games- so that was fun!  The 3 big boys were here after school.  Last night Deke & I took my mom with us & went to Virginia Striegels visitation.  We saw sooo many people we hadn't seen in years!  What a great lady she was.  She has such a nice family too.

When we got home from the visitation Deke helped me & we made 2 batches of macaroni/ham salad for Virginia's funeral dinner.  So I'll drop that off at the church after I take the boys to school this morning.

I'm off to town to get the boys, take the twins to school & I'll then spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Deke is off early to chore, head to the courthouse for the morning & then work on the farm this afternoon.  Tonight Brayden is suppose to have a baseball game & Nathan is suppose to race.....so we'll see what happens due to the weather!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!

Yesterday was a busy day!  It was nice & sunny outside- yeah!  It was nice to get some fresh air & play outside for a change.  Last night I went to Brayden's baseball game for a little bit, went to Brody & Drake's baseball game for a little bit & then headed to Osky to the races to watch Nathan.  He won his heat & got 3rd in the main.  It was late when we got home, but I did work on stamping stuff for awhile after before I went to bed.

This morning I'm off to take the boys to school, get Trey & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Tonight the twins have a soccer game, so we'll go to that & I'll then burn the midnight oil cutting card stock.

I hope you have a great Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs-
