A cute circle flip card with 'Sea Street'!

Hello!
Here is one of the cards that everyone made at my Open Houses last week.
This is a new set called- 'Sea Street'.
It was so fun to make!

Check out the inside how the circles flip!
 Cute huh!
'Sea Street', 'Teeny Tiny Wishes' & 'Petite Pairs'
cs:  Night of Navy, Real Red. Whisper White
dp:  Maritime Designer Paper
ink:  Night of Navy & Real Red
supplies:  Neutrals Candy Dots (White), Candy Dot Base, Paper Piercing Tool, Piercing Mat, Big Shot, Circles Collection Framelits, Starburst Framelits, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Word Window Punch

We had a late night on the farm last night.
We did get to listen to Nathan talking on the radio- Race Show for an hour too though.
He did a great job!
It is hard to believe that he has been racing over 15 years now- which is over half of his life.
As he started when he was 14 racing Go Carts & moved up to a Hobby Stock when he was 16.

Deke is off to the office this morning & then to Mt. Pleasant for meetings all day.
I'm home alone- I think- which NEVER happens.
I have a huge list to get done.
I can't remember the last time I had a day "off".
I have swaps to make & things to get ready for my downline meeting that
I'm having here on Saturday.
And I need to get our house back in order from having classes here all last weekend.
Plus a pile of farm bills & things- so I know I'm not going to be bored.
And my new catalog order is to arrive today too- so I'm hoping to get to play tonight.
Gosh- it will be like Christmas in June!!
So I do have more to do than I'll be able to get done today!

Jeff did get moved to St. Lukes yesterday.
It just makes it harder for his family since it is so much farther away.
Please continue to pray that he heals & especially his arm.

Normal racing action for tonight is re-scheduled for tomorrow night as the
World Outlaw Late Models will be all there- so it will be a late night.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!

This weeks Weekly Deals- June 10-16th, 2014

'Blended Bloom' with the new Blendability Markers!

Hello!!
I am sorry that I'm late getting this post done.
Our internet has been down for the past 12 hours or more.
I wasn't a happy camper.
Some little mouse chewed threw one of the fiber optic lines & everyone in Sigourney & Keota was without internet services that had Cloudburst9.
So I have TONS to catch up on today!

I made this card a few weeks ago- right after my new product supplies arrived.
I originally was going to use it as one of my June class cards- but
changed plans since the Blendability markers aren't available now to customers
until the end of June or first party of July.

There is alot of new products used here-
Blendability markers, washi tape, stamp sets, ribbon & designer paper too!

'Blended Bloom' & 'Hello There'- new hostess set
cs:  Hello Honey, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
dp:  Moonlight Paper Stack
ink:  Momento
markers:  Cherry Cobbler Assortment & Daffodil Delight Assortment Blendabilities,
plus the Color Lifter
other:  Paper Doily, Hello Honey 3/8" Stitched Ribbon, Banner Punch, glue dots, dimensionals, Beach House Washi Tape, Stampin' Trimmer & the Tiny Wave Rotary Cutting Blade

I love, love, love the new Blendability Markers.
I will be offering a Marker CLUB with these starting next month.....
so if stamp with me you are going to LOVE this!

I had a fun day with my 3 boys yesterday.
We visited Aunt Virginia in the morning & spent 1 1/2 hours playing in the Keswick park.
Then home for lunch & the twins napped & then we played outside here.

Last night Deke & I picked up Aunt Viriginia & headed to IC to see Jeff.

He looked good.
Was in alot of pain....but off the morphine pump & trying to manage it with pills.
Please continue to pray that his arm heals & they can save it.
He can move his fingers a little bit.
He has a long road ahead of him on his journey to healing.
They will be moving him to Cedar Rapids to St. Luke's Rehab sometime in the near future.
We will go back up & see him later this week.

Today it is just me & Brayden.
Tonight I'm a farmer & will be outside helping Deke all night.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

Last night we went to Nikki's visitation.
It just breaks my heart.
I pray that her family has peace & strong faith to get through this terrible time.

I have all 3 of my boys today.
I'm excited to see them & I'm sure they are going to be excited to be together too.
So today is going to be a very busy day!

Tonight Deke & I are going to Iowa City again to the hospital to see Jeff & the kids.
Bless my sister Beckie for staying with him last night & today so that his kids could
go to Nikki's visitation & funeral.
It is grand that our family is always there for each other!

Gotta run......off to get my boys.
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!

Tangelo Twist- New In Color

Hello!
Here is the NEW In Color- Tangelo Twist.
 Shown in order-
Pumpkin Pie, Tangelo Twist & Tangerine Tango

Please keep these families in your prayers.
The Edmundsons & the Dugger/Little families.
My brother-in-law (Jeff) was in a serious motor-cycle accident last evening.
We spent the night at the hospital with my family & just got home.
He is in critical condition & should be going in for surgery here soon.
His friend (Nikki) that was with him did not make it.
(Nikii is one of my best friend Tammy's sister.)
Our heart breaks for my nephews- Jake & Josh & niece Jordan.
Pray for them all so that they have the strength to get through the hours/days/weeks
& months ahead of them from this tragic accident.

 UPDATE:  9:45 am. 6/5/14
Jeff just recently got out of surgery.
They cleaned the wounds on his leg & arm.
The lower part of his leg could not be saved.
We are praying that the rest of his leg & his arm will be ok.
They will leave them open & do surgery again to re-clean the wounds again.
This surgery did not go as well has they had planned,
so they will be doing another one tomorrow.
We are praying that he does not get infection.
There are multiple surgeries in his future.
He has a very long road ahead of him- as this journey has just begun.
Thanks for your thoughts & prayers.
Please continue sending prayers for these families during this tragic time.

Hugs!

Hello Honey is another NEW In Color

Check it out!
I love this new rich yellow color called Hello Honey!
 Shown in order:
So Saffron, Crushed Curry & Hello Honey

Yippee- we got everything done we had planned for yesterday.
I even made a quick trip to Carter's after I got my hair cut,
as they are having a great sale.
I got some clothes for all of the boys.
And I am not a shopper at all.....but glad I went & got alot of things for them.
Brayden was thrilled when he went through them all.
He especially liked his new Big Brother shirt!
It was a busy day- but a good one!!
And of course I couldn't go through the day without seeing all 3 boys for just a bit.
I took the twins on a walk while Manda went to vote early last evening.
We went to watch the backhoe & dump truck hauling dirt on the road a
few blocks from their house that they are repaving.
The boys LOVED seeing the construction equipment.
Then I ran home to help Deke sell hogs.
Brayden helped us too.
And he & Nathan were here to eat a late supper with us.
How "blessed" we are that they live so close!!

I am off to get Brayden this morning & take him home to his moms.
Manda & the twins are going along & we get to meet Brayden's baby brother- Jacobi.
We can't wait!
Then I'm headed home to work on things for my Open Houses.
LOTS to do!
Lots of fun things in store for everyone joining me.

We are suppose to race tonight....so will see if we got too much rain or not.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
Happy Stamping!

where we saw & visited with many family members we don't see very often.

We didn't make it to the cemeteries yesterday- so will do that today.
I also need to get some flowers planted for my mother-in-law.
And we'll be attending the visitation of my great aunt Ivalene.
I am hoping to start my day off again enjoying coffee with my sister-in-law Sheryl too!

Watercolor Drip Technique

Hello!
Here is a fun technique to do with watercolor paper & aqua painters.
My dear Stampin' Sister Lyssa gave me a swap at Leadership similar to this.
So here is my version that everyone got to make at my STYC last month.
Each time you do this -it comes out differently.
It is a messy technique, but a fun one.
 'Four You' & 'Polka-Dot Pieces'
cs:  Watercolor Paper, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight & Very Vanilla
ink:  Old Olive, Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight & Pool Party
supplies:  Daffodil Delight ribbon, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Basic Pearls, dimensionals, glue dots, 1 3/4" Scalloped Circle Punch, aqua painters

Yesterday we were gone pretty much all day.
Then last night we took everything up to Deke's parents & made them lettuce & dumplings for supper.
This is an Axmear/Wood family recipe.
We enjoyed visiting with Deke's parents & our sister-in-law Sheryl too!

I am looking forward to Sheryl coming down to visit & have coffee with me this morning.
This afternoon we are planning to head to my cousin Teresa's home for their daughter Abbie's graduation party.
And sometime in between we will be making our cemetery run to give flowers to all of our loved ones.
Plus I'm hoping to squeeze in some stamping today too!

I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!

'Flower Shop' meets coordinating Pansy punch

Good morning!

Here is a fun card......and always love it when stamp sets coordinate with punches.
Isn't this a cool!
 'Flower Shop'
cs:  Whisper White & Melon Mambo
dp:  Gingham Garden
ink:  Melon Mambo
supplies: Pansy Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Basic Rhinestones, Whisper White Tafetta ribbon, dimensionals, Big Shot, Decorative Dots Embossing folder

Did you notice how I shadow stamped these 3 flowers?
The top one is the darkest & the bottom one is the lightest.

What a beautiful day it was yesterday!
The boys played outside for a couple of hours in the morning & I worked in the yard.
I pulled weeds, cleaned out our eve spouts on our house, etc.

Nathan didn't have too good of luck last night & got in a wreck during his heat.
They got the car fixed good enough to start the feature & he finished 6th.
Thankfully he wasn't hurt.

Last night I did bookwork for our farm, personal & Stampin' Up! accounts.
Plus got a few cards made & ready to mail out too- that I needed to get done.

Today Deke & I will get up early to get the chores done
& head to meet our banker for our yearly farm notes/business.
Then home.....to chore again & I think the guys are off to the races again.
I am staying home....I am finally caught up with our laundry & bookwork from being gone.
But I have mounds of stamp stuff that needs to be finished & put away.
I need to get all of that stuff caught up on- so I can gear up for my
New Catalog Open Houses that will be here before we know it.

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!!
Happy Stamping!!

An embossed resist technique......

Good morning!
Here is another embossed resist card that I sponged the color onto.
It was one everyone made at STYC last month.
It is a clean & simple card- but great isn't it!
A rainbow of colors added to this card just makes it pop doesn't it.
And how can you go wrong when you use black as an accent with it?
I will hopefully find time sometime soon to get caught up on supplies for cards that I have posted lately.

I think that maybe today is gonna be a quiet day.
I have my fingers crossed that it will be anyways.
The guys will go racing tonight.
I will be staying home (alone I think) & hoping to get caught up on alot of things.

IMPORTANT NEWS:
Brayden is a BIG brother!
Jacobi Ryan Hernandez born at 3:09pm yesterday afternoon!
7lbs 2oz and 20.25 inches long
I will post a picture of the 2 of them sometime soon.
