Pocket Thoughts Dies Halloween Treat Box

This is adorable little Halloween Treat Box I made.

 

To make the box I used the

#1635520-Pocket Thoughts Dies= $31.00 Annual Catalog pg. 62

#166494- Halloween Spells Scrapbooking Kit from the Scrapbooking Brochure

I die cut 2 of the largest pockets out of Basic Black card stock.

I adhered Tear & Tape around all 3 edges of ONE of the pockets.

NOTICE where I put the Tear & Tape.

You then stick the other pocket to the 2 sides & bottom edges of the pocket as shown above.

This forms the 'box'.

This is what the 'box' looks like from the side view.

I put 2 granola bars in this box to give you an idea on the size of the box.

The completed box measures approx. 3 3/4" across; 5" tall; 3/8" wide.

Playful Ghosts fun fold card

 

Check out this cute flying ghost witch!

He makes me smile.

This ghost reminds me of Casper The Friendly Ghost.

I colored all of these images using my Stampin' Blend.

This is what the card looks like opened up.

With this card layout I'm showing off both sides of the DSP.

Cool huh!

As notice how I used the DSP.

This is a 5 1/4 x 6" DSP- scored at 4" & folded.

I adhered it to a Basic Black 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" piece for the card base.

I added #141897- Wink of Stella= $9.00

over the ghost to make him sparkle.

Spooky Fun Ghost

Check out this CUTE little ghost!!

 

This little ghost is from the

#164141- Potion & Spells Dies= $32.00 Online Exclusive

This ghost is actually the end of the broom & I cut off the

very top point using my Paper Snip Scissors. 

 

This is one of the cards that everyone attending my

upcoming Halloween Treats class will be making.

 

Here is the pattern I used when cutting the DSP 

for this fun patchwork layout.

How did I do it? 

This is showing off both sides of one piece of DSP.

*DSP- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"

*Cut in half lengthwise at 1 3/4"

*Cut off 1 3/4" off ends of both strips.

*Now FLIP 2 of the strips to show off the other side.

This is what the inside of the card looks like.

NOTE:  These bats are from a retired punch, as since I'm doing this card for 

an in person class- I will need several bats.
