It is a winter wonderland with lots of snow here that we got last night.  Traveling home from rehearsal supper was not fun- but thankfully everyone made it home safely.

Today is the day!!  It is Nathan & Sarah's big day!!  Woo Hoo!

Yesterday was a busy day with decorating, picking up wedding dresses & tuxes, cooking all of the food for rehearsal supper, etc.

Today is full of finalizing things...first off is to get the wedding programs done.

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!
Happy Stamping!

Last night was a late night on the farm & then in the kitchen.  Thankfully I have an amazing husband that helps me.  (Guess I have to help him, so he has to help me!)

This morning Deke will be on the farm most of the day.  He is in charge of watching the potatoes & coming in to stir them.  I'm off to pick up Sarah's wedding dress & the other dresses that Sharlene altered for us.  I'll then pick up my rolls & head to Fairfield to decorate the Convention Center.  I'll head back home to meet up with Brayden & Deke & we'll all head back to Fairfield with a car full of food for rehearsal supper.

The girls left early this morning to go get their nails done.  And the guys all took the day off to stay home with their boys so that G'ma has a day off to get to help with the wedding festivities.

WOW!  How blessed we are that Sarah will offically be part of our family tomorrow!  We think the world of her & am so happy for her & Nathan!  They make a perfect pair.  Gosh- we have a VERY BUSY next couple of days & I pray that everyone enjoys it & it turns out to be a perfect day!

It sounds like we could have some nasty weather too today & tomorrow.  I pray that we don't get any ice & that everyone stays safe!

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!
Happy Stamping!

Last night after the boys were all gone Deke & ran to town to pay for the tuxes.  We then headed to Osky to eat a quick bite & get all of the groceries for the wedding rehearsal.  It was about 10:30 when we got home & we had to put everything away.

This morning I headed out early to pick up the boys.  Deke is working on farm all day today (with no meetings- yeah) & he is trying to catch up on grinding feed & things here.

Tonight when the boys leave I'm headed outside to be a farmer!  I'll help Deke with the pigs & then we sell some hogs tonight too.  When we get in we are going to be cooking up a storm!!  We have several pans of Oreo Dessert to make.  And then we'll also mix up a couple big crock pots of cheesy potatoes.  I will make the other food tomorrow.  Thankfully my dear friend Karen is cooking all of the pork loins for us & she is coming down to take care of things while we are at rehearsal!  (BLESS HER!)

Off I go......
I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!

This weeks= "WEEKLY DEALS"- November 17-23, 2015!

A fall card holder!

Check out this cool card holder I made.  It will hold at least 6 cards & envelopes.

Measurements:
  • 8 1/2 x 11" card stock
  • score in the middle at 5 1/2"
  • score 2 1/4" along bottom
  • fold up the 2 1/4" to form a pocket
  • I did "V" the center bottom 2 1/4" a little so that it wasn't as bulky when folded.
  • I did not use any adhesive.
  • I used a ribbon belly band that will slide on & off to hold it shut.
stamp set: 'Num-Num'
card stock:  Mossy Meadow & Very Vanilla
ink:  Mossy Meadow
other:  Paper Snips, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Decorative Label Punch, Paper Piercing Tool, Paper Piercing Mat, Mossy Meadow 5/8" Stripped Ribbon

Here is the card keeper opened up with cards & envelopes in it.
NOTE:  Look how I made a 'v' in the flip up part.

I burnt the midnight oil last night cutting card stock all night for Christmas card kits.  I also got wedding programs all figured out & am ready to print, cut & finish them when the kids are positive on the wording on them.

Today is our baby's 29th birthday!!  What a joy Amanda has been in our lives!  We are so blessed that she lives only 5 miles from us & we get to see her & her beautiful family almost every day!  I hope she has a very special day!

Here is a great photo of Manda & Steven taken last month.

I'm off to pick up all of my boys.....we'll run Brayden to school & then head back out to our home.  Tonight after work I am going to my friend Donna's home so that she can help me decide what I'm wearing to the wedding & accessorize me/my outfit.  When I get home from her house I'll be burning the midnight oil again cutting Christmas card kits again (& maybe wedding programs).

I hope you have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY!

I delivered some Christmas card kits yesterday too on my way up & back home.

I burnt the midnight oil working on farm bookwork & cutting more Christmas card kits last night.

Yesterday was a full day of stamping with those that joined me for my annual Christmas card class.  I so enjoyed my day with everyone.  It was great to see everyone leaving with their Christmas cards all completed & ready to mail out!

Deke & I went out for a quick supper with my sister Beckie & Dan.  Then Deke watched the Hawks play & I cut more Christmas card kits!

Can you believe I finally have a day off of work today?  I can't even tell you the last time I had a day off.  So this morning Manda & I are headed to Williamsburg to shop.  And I am not a shopper.....but we are on a mission.  I'm looking for my dress to wear to Nathan & Sarah's wedding.  I hope I find one quickly so we can head back home.  I need to help Deke outside & I also have to get some more Christmas card kits cut.

A CUTE Christmas Tree!

Here is another card I created of my monthly November classes.  This is a favorite layout of mine that I haven't done for awhile.  I thought it turned out cute & it worked perfect to add the tree here.

I helped Deke on the farm last night after the boys went home- as we sorted hogs from our outside lot.  When I got in I jumped in the shower & ran out the door, headed to Iowa City.  My dear friend (and downline) Judy had an emergency surgery & so I went up to the hospital to see her.  The surgery went well & I was so happy to get to see her & chat a few minutes in the recovery room.   I got home & walked in the door about 1:00 this morning.  Deke worked in the field all night & he got in the house shortly after I got home.....so we had another short night.

I have LOTS to do tonight after work to get ready for my Stampin' Night I'm having here at our home tomorrow night.  I'll be burning the midnight oil forsure & I'm crossing my fingers I get everything done.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
Happy Stamping!

This weeks= "WEEKLY DEALS"- November 10-16, 2015!

LOTS of Snowflakes!!

Here is a clean & simple snowflake card that was one of my Holiday Extravaganza cards.  I added the silver sequins in the middle of the snowflakes for that added little bling & sparkle.  This is just a really pretty card!
And this card is one that you could easily duplicate & mass produce for your Christmas cards.

card stock:  Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Pool Party
ink:  Pool Party, Smoky Slate
other:  Silver Sequins, Dimensionals, Fine Tip Glue Pen, Snow Flurry Punch

I had a great day with my boys yesterday.  The weather was so nice & we enjoyed playing outside for quite some time in the morning & a little again in the afternoon.

Brayden was here after school- so Susie's (G'mas) Hair Hut was open for business.  Yeah- we finally got his hair cut!!

I worked on bookwork & did laundry & Deke worked in the field last night, both of us burning the midnight oil.  We did get all of our cornstalk bales done last night!!  Yeah- now to find time to get them all hauled in from the field & stacked.  They don't have a shed to go into this year though since ours burnt in May.  Deke took the loft out of one of our old barns a few weeks ago & we are hoping that we can stack a few of them 2 high in there.  Several of them are just going to have to sit outside all winter.

This morning I'm up early to go pick up Masen & then the other 3 boys & just hang out together all day .  Deke is home all day today to work on the farm.  He also has to run 2 hogs to the locker too.  Tonight I'm going to get my hair cut & will then I'll burn the midnight oil cutting card stock.  I have lots of Christmas card kits to get cut for everyone this week!  Nathan & Steve are going to help Deke sort hogs tonight & then Deke will spend the midnight oil working in the field again.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!
