Lots to Celebrate stamp set

The NEW August-December Holiday Catalog goes live today- August 4th, 2020!

Woo hoo!  I'm super excited that today, my "Lots to Celebrate" stamp set is available to order!  This is the set that I helped design when I achieved my Million Dollars in career sales with Stampin' Up!  Check out my "Lots to Celebrate" stamp set on page 64, #154034= $17. 

My "Lots to Celebrate" stamp set is an All Occasions set.  As I wanted something that could be used for many different occasions!  AND you all know that I'm a punch girl!  Well, my set coordinates with the Jar Punch, plus several other punches too! 

I've been busy creating LOTS of cards using it.  I'll be sharing my cards here on my blog in the upcoming days/weeks/months!  And I hope you will be joining me at my monthly stamp classes too- as I'll be sharing LOTS of ideas then too, plus you'll get to make some cards with me using my "Lots to Celebrate" stamp set!

So with today's card.......it is time to celebrate with my stamp set!!  This is a fun card I made using one of my NEW favorite In Colors= Misty Moonlight!  I combined it with Real Red & Whisper White!

So what do you think?  I love it!  It is totally a Susie card.  And I'm loving this NEW Misty Moonlight DSP too.  It reminds me of denim.

Thick Whisper White- 

• 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base

Misty Moonlight-

• 4 x 5 1/4"; 3 1/2 x 2"- punch one end with Fancy Tag Topper Punch
• 1/2" strip- die cut little stars
  

Real Red-

• 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"- stamp stars onto top 1/3 of this using Real Red ink
• 1/2" strip- die cut little stars
  

Whisper White-

• 2 3/4" strip- stamp Jar onto using Smoky Slate ink & punch out with Jar Punch.  Then stamp the dangling lines & the stars
  
• 1" strip- stamp words onto using Misty Moonlight ink & die cut with Tasteful Labels Dies
  
• 1/2" strip- stamp jar lid onto using Smoky Slate ink & cut out with Paper Snips
  
• 1/2" strip- stamp fabric/doily onto using Real Red ink & cut out with Paper Snips

Monochromatic with Tasteful Touches

Check out this gorgeous monochromatic card that I made last night, using several of the products from the In Good Taste Suite.  You can find out more about this suite by looking on pages 122-124 in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.

The images in this 'Tasteful Touches' stamp set are very shabby chic.  And I thought that they worked out perfect in creating this collage style card.

I used only 2 colors of ink- Crumb Cake & Soft Suede to make this a tone on tone monochromatic card.

Look at all of the texture & dimension of this card!!  WOW!  And to think that most of the dimension was created with just stamping the same images multiple times.

I added the Wink of Stella over the leaves (that are on the Tasteful Labels Dies) & the Flower. 

This is just a totally Susie card & I love the way it turned out!  I hope you like it too!

Zany Zebra's

I just got this stamp set on Friday!!!!  And I couldn't wait to play with it!  Last night I whipped up this quick card.  I combined some Annual Catalog products with some NEW August-December (Holiday) Mini Catalog products! 

I decided to use the Artistry Blooms DSP, as I loved this stripped ombre pattern.  But honestly, I had a hard time trying to deiced what color of card stock to combine with it!!  I decided that even though the Pretty Peacock wasn't one of the colors listed in the catalog that was to coordinate with it- I liked it!! 

I think that all 3 of the little Zebra's in this 'Zany Zebras' stamp set!  They just make me smile!  What do you think?  This could be a card for many different occasions & for any age too!

Lots to Celebrate with Jar Punch

It is simple Saturday.....and check out my cute star card, using my "Lots to Celebrate" stamp set & coordinating Jar Punch!

We had a family graduation party a couple of weekends ago (that we cooked the pork for the party).  This is the card that made for Seth!  It was quick, simple & I think it turned out cute!

Notice how I used the stars in the background too.....I stamped them in the Daffodil Delight ink.  And then the stars dangling in the jar I stamped first with the Daffodil Delight ink, cleaned the stamp & then stamped it again, using the Night of Navy ink.

Lots to Celebrate with hearts!

Oh my gosh.....I'm having so much fun creating with my 'Lots to Celebrate' stamp set!

Check out this fun card!  As the lid fell off of the jar & the hearts are just floating out!!  

This would make an awesome card for so many different occasions.  You could leave these words on it or change them, using one of the other words in this 'Lots to Celebrate' stamp set!!  This card could be send for- get well, sympathy, thinking of you, or Valentines Day, Birthday or sympathy & change the words!

How did I get the Lighter & Darker shades of hearts?  

• I inked the heart stamp into my Real Red ink pad.
• I stamped the hearts onto my Whisper White card stock.
• And then WITHOUT re-inking the stamp, I moved the stamp (either up or down a little) & stamped again.  
• This is called Shadow stamping- where you get a dark & light shade of ink, using just one ink pad!

Lots to Celebrate with hearts!

Yay.......I love my 'Lots to Celebrate' stamp set!!  Today I'm sharing a fun fold card using it with the hearts spilling out of it!  This is a totally 'Susie card'!

I used some NEW 2020 August-December (Holiday) Catalog products on this card-

• 'Lots to Celebrate' stamp set
• Heartwarming Hugs DSP
• Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder
• Real Red Braided Linen Trim

I added a punched out Jar Window Sheet over the heart image.  It is hard to see in the photo, but it makes it look like glass & really cool!

Happiest of Birthdays with Balloon Punch!

Check out this CUTE birthday card!!!  I love it!  It is a totally Susie card....the colors, font, dsp, balloons, embossing folder, layout.....it is all just me!  I think it could work for anyone's birthday- younger or older; male or female!  It would be great for all birthdays!

I used the words from the 'Happiest of Birthdays' stamp set, along with the Playing with Patterns DSP.  This Playing with Patterns DSP has been one of my favorite designer papers lately & I have used it a ton!

Lots to Celebrate- Sneak Peek!

WOO HOOO!!! This is a quick sneak peek for today's blog post!

I will share more details about this card in tomorrow's post!

Simple Saturday!!

It is simple Saturday......and a quick post from me!

This is a cute card that I got in the mail on Thursday from some of the employees in demonstrator support at Stampin' Up!!  Several of the employees there signed it!!  It was so sweet of them!  It made my day!  They were congratulating me on my Million Dollar Sales Achievement stamp set that will be available for all to purchase starting August 4th, 2020!  My stamp set is called- LOTS TO CELEBRATE & it is on page 64 in the August-December (Holiday) Mini Catalog!  WOO HOO!  I can't wait to share lots of fun projects using my set in the coming days/weeks/months!

This card is from the December 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit!  It is clean, simple & so cute!!  I thought it was perfect for me to quickly share it with you today!!  I will have to try to find some current catalog DSP & products to recreate this card & share with you- so stay tuned for that sometime soon.

Our week has been crazy.....it has been jam packed with kids, races, pigs & LOTS of stamping!!  As I am super excited to get to see several of you tomorrow at my class.  I can hardly wait!  I have LOTS of cute cards to share! And I can't wait for you to see them!

NEW 3 D Dandelions Embossing Folder

Oh my Gosh!!!!!  Check out this COOL NEW Dandelions 3D Embossing Folder!!!  Yes- this is an embossing folder.  I embossed these Dandelions onto vellum, to get this look.  The Dandelions turn white- without having to do anything else!!!  It is SOOO easy to do!

This is the Dandelion 3D Embossing Folder, along with the piece of vellum that I embossed with it!

I am honestly just amazed at how cool it is!

It is so easy & so pretty!

I love it!  Don't you?

 I wanted my stems/leaves to be green.  

So I used the Old Olive Watercolor Pencils & colored the leaves/stems 

on the BACKSIDE of the Vellum!

This is the Seaside Spray piece of card stock that I stamped onto & 

this is layered directly under the Vellum Dandelions.

Did you notice how I stamped the grass image from the 'Field of Flowers' along the bottom of the Seaside Spray card stock, using Old Olive ink.  I also stamped 3 dragonflies randomly directly onto the Seaside Spray card stock, using Seaside Spray ink.

NOTE:  Be sure that your dragonflies are not behind where your Dandelions are.

How did I adhere it?

• I put 3 Glue Dots each, on the back side of the 3 different Dandelions (directly onto the Vellum).
• As you can see in the photo below, the Vellum is loose along all of the edges.
• Why?  Because all adhesives show through the Vellum, so you try to find a place that you can hide the adhesive behind it.  
• I used my NEW Seal Plus on the back side of the Seaside Spray card stock strip, so that it would adhere good to the front side of the Vellum. 

Here is a sneak peek!!  Check out the NEW Blue Adhesive Backed Gems (in the upcoming August-December 2020 Catalog), that I used.  They are so pretty & sparkly!  

NOTE:  You could add some Wink of Stella completely over the top of the 3 Dandelions to give them some added sparkle too!

Ridiculously Awesome!

Check out this fun card using the 'Ridiculously Awesome' stamp set!

How did I get the multi color in the words?

• Ink the whole stamp, using So Saffron ink.
• Take a sponge dauber & diagonally add Calypso Coral ink directly onto the stamp.
• Breath onto the stamp, to moisten the ink & press onto Whisper White card stock.

Peony Garden Suite!

I love this Peony Garden Suite!!  And honestly......I liked it when I first say it, but thought that I already had so many flowers, that I didn't need it.  But as I look looked at the other coordinating products in the suite- I fell in love!  The 'Prized Peony' stamp set is pretty!!  I love the detail in the flowers & the font/words are great!!  Then there are all of these coordinating products:

• Gray Granite-  5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base; 5 1/4 x 1 1/4'- stamp words onto right edge; 3" strip- die cut Stitched Square
• Whisper White- 4 x 5 1/4- for outside of card; 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card; 2 3/4" strip- stamp Peony onto & die cut out with Stitched Square

designer paper:  Peony Garden DSP- 5 x 2"
