One Horse Open Sleigh Arrow fold

I needed a card to send to a friend, to let them know I was thinking of them.

Check it out........

This is a fun arrow fold card.

 

I used something OLD & something NEW!

#162118- One Horse Open Sleigh DSP= $12.50

This is what the inside looks like.

Notice how I adhered the 2 outside triangles I cut here.

NOTE:  The center triangle was adhered to the center of the card front.

Here is the pattern on how I folded the card stock base.

How did I do it?

*Card base= 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"

*Mark the center bottom of the card front at 2 3/4" & score diagonally to the center fold outside corners.

*Mark along the center of each side of the card front at 2 1/8" & score to the bottom center 2 3/4" mark.

*Fold along these score lines with a bone folder & secure down with adhesive.

Popper Candy Treat

Check out these candy treats!!

I made poppers for the kids & put into their stockings.

I added 5 Hershey's kisses to each popper.

 

I used these products to make them-

#159182- Cracker & Treat Box dies= $36.00 AC pg. 163.

#162015- Beary Christmas DSp= $12.50 HC pg. 23- RETIRING SOON!

 

I idea to make these came when we 

were in Norway last May on the Stampin' Up! incentive trip, 

as we saw some of these poppers.

I knew when I saw this DSP pattern that it would work perfectly to make them.

How did I do it?

They were so easy!

*6x6" DSP- die cut

*fold on all scored lines.

*add Tear & Tape along the edge to seal them.

*Use approx. 5" of twine & tied around one end.

*Add 5 Hershey's kisses.

*Tie twine around the other end to shut the popper.

The letters are approx. 3/8 x 3/4".

I love it that the die has multiple letters of some that we use often.

I just die cut these letters all out at one time & will save the extras for another time. 

Although you could die cut them out individually if you choose to do it that way.

Beary Christmas Card Holder

Do you need to whip up a last minute card for a gift card?  

 

Check out this cute fun fold card

that has a gift card slot on the inside of it. 

 

The DSP is the star of this card.....I love 

how this simple card turned out to be so cute!

 

I used the

This is what the card looks like when it is opened up.

A gift card, cash or little candy would fit here in this slot.

Notice how I punched out a little notch on the left side where the

gift card holder goes.

Here is the pattern for the card base-

*4 1/4 x 11" card stock

*Score at 5 1/2"

*Put into Paper Cutter at 2 1/2" & cut downward to fold/score line

*Punch slight notch in center of right side flap

*Add Tear & Tape around edges of right side flap to adhere to inside card base

I did fussy cut out the little polar bear that is in the 

bottom right corner.

The other 2 bears are directly onto the DSP.

I made a pocket along the bottom/inside of the card, 

so that I could add a gift card, cash or small piece of candy.

To secure the outside edges of this pocket I used Tear & Tape!

I love the punched out holes that are on the outside of this circle-

don't you?

You'll want to add these NEW dies to your wish list!

Notice that the tree & deer are from the DSP & I cut them out with my scissors,

as there are no dies that coordinate with them.

How did I do it?

*I rolled the Brayer into my Real Red ink pad.

*Roll ink directly onto the inside (top) of the embossing folder.

*Put the dies over the word images.

*Add 6x6" piece of Basic White card stock.

(Run thru Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.

Notice how different the words look!

I love how the brayered words just POP out.

This is so neat don't you think?
