A cute Bear!

Check out this cute bear!!  He is so stinkin' cute!  This card was one of my Spring Fling projects.  I wasn't sure what to do with this set so I found a couple of cute cards on Pinterest & combined them with my own little add on's, thus I came up with this card.  I can't wait to find time to play with this set & coordinating framelits some more.
Papa Bear is perfect for any special guy in your life!  And I have many visions for the little bear!

Check out the Pine Trees & coordinating punch.  These are both on the retiring list.

Yesterday was a full day of stamping!!  We had a great time!  I enjoyed my day & I think everyone else did too.   I'm glad that so many could join us.  The weather was cold, cloudy & rainy- so it was the perfect day for us to be inside & stamp together!!

I stopped to see my dear friend Judy on my way home last night.  I took her a bag of cards to finish assembling.  She was thrilled!!  I hope she feels like working on them this week.

It was late when I got home last night......I was beat.  I got supper & ending up falling asleep on the couch.

I'm up early this morning to get my car unloaded from yesterday's party & then I'll go pick up my boys for the day.

Deke is off early to chore & then he'll head to meetings.  He has his weekly board meeting this morning, another meeting this afternoon & another meeting tonight.  Hopefully he will have time to run home between meetings to chore & feed the pigs this afternoon.

Tonight when the boys go home I'll spend my night catching up on stamp stuff & entering orders from yesterdays party!

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!
Happy Stamping!

It is another beautiful Rose!!

Here is another beautiful rose card.  This was another one of my Spring Fling projects.

I used the Rose Garden Thinlit to cut the rose out of Whisper White card stock & then used a sponge dauber & colored it.  Check out how shiny it is.  I used Clear Embossing Powder on it & it is just beautiful in person.

Last night we went to watch the boys play soccer.  Brayden's game ended up getting rescheduled so we went for an ice cream cone at Walkers & then back to watch the twins play their soccer game.

Afterwards Nathan & Sarah had us over for supper to celebrate Bradyen's birthday a couple of days early.  We had pizza & cupcakes!  And the boys ended up talking Uncle Nathan into a slumber party!  They were all headed to bed when we left.  I hope they ended up all going to sleep & sleeping all night long.

We have a full day in store for us.  This morning I'm up early & I will be a stamping fool.  I have my monthly class tomorrow & Ila is our hostess.  I can't wait to see everyone & share!

I have the 3 Seeley boys for a few hours this afternoon as Steven & Manda are taking prom photos for Sigourney.  Tonight I'll be burning the midnight oil stamping & I'm hoping Deke will help me do some big shot cutting & embossing.

Gotta run.....
I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!

Another lovely rose!

This is another card everyone made at my Spring Fling!  It is a recessed rose.  We cut it out with the framelit & then I had them pop out the rectangle with dimensionals & then recess the rose by applying it directly to the Basic Black card stock.

Isn't it pretty!!  It is just really stunning in person.  And this lace ribbon was just the perfect accent to add to it.

stamp set:  'Rose Wonder'
card stock:  Sahara Sand, Basic Black, Whisper White
ink:  Basic Black Archival
other:  Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Precision Plate, Extra-Large Oval Punch, Sahara Sand Lace Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen, Silicone Craft Sheet

The boys & I ran errands yesterday morning.  And then home for them to pick what they were having for lunch since Papa wasn't going to be here again today.  Drake wanted pancakes....so that is what they had.  Pancakes, Bacon (of course) & tangerines.

Brayden & Masen were here in the afternoon & it was nice enough that the boys all played outside for awhile.  It was good to see them running off their energy.  When they were all gone home I headed out to work on the farm with Deke all night- marking, sorting & loading hogs.  When we got in I made a late supper & did farm bookwork the rest of the night.

This morning Deke is off early to chore again & head out to another meeting in Ottumwa today.  I'm off to pick up the boys.  We'll see what mother nature has in store for us.  Hopefully it will be nice enough we can play outside some.  Then tonight all 3 boys- Brayden, Brody & Drake all have soccer games.  Hopefully we have no rain!

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!

A Blushing Bride Rose!

Here is a quick & cute card using the set- 'Rose Wonder'!  This card was one that everyone at my Spring Fling got to make.
Check out how I colored it!  I used the 'Watercolor Wash' background stamp to do the coloring.  I would say that this is a simple/elegant card.

stamp set:  'Rose Wonder'
card stock:  Blushing Bride, Basic Black, Whisper White
ink:  Archival Basic Black, Blushing Bride
other:  Big Shot, Rose Garden Thinlit Dies, Magnetic Platform, Extra Large Oval Punch, Dimensionals

What a nasty day outside it was  yesterday.....chilly, wet & windy.  The boys were bummed that they didn't get to play outside.....so we played with big leggo's!  When the boys left last night I worked on getting caught up on laundry & some bookwork.   I also have been working on cutting a friends wedding invites for her son/daugher-in-law & got them all cut, scored & folded.

This morning Deke is off early to chore & he is off to Ottumwa for 2 meetings.  I'm off to pick up the boys.  We have a few errands to run this morning if all works out.  I think today is going to be another nasty day outside- with crappy weather.  Tonight when the boys are all gone I'll be a farmer, helping Deke mark, sort & sell hogs.

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!

Yesterday was a busy day!  We ran errands all morning.  It rained & wasn't nice enough to play outside.

Last night when the boys went home I went & got my hair all cut off short again.  Deke went along with me & we ran to Tanger Outlet Mall to get him some new dress clothes to wear to all of his meetings.

This morning Deke is off early to chore & spend the morning in the office at the courthouse.  I'm off to go pick up the boys for the day.  Hopefully the weather will be nice enough that they can play outside today.

Tonight we are all planning to go racing & cheer on Nathan.

Yesterday was a full day with the boys.  It was so nice out.  We are loving this spring weather & being able to play outside.  They got to play in the sand box, swing & ride their trikes.

Last night we all went to Brayden's school music program, then picked up Casey's Pizza & had supper together in the new city park/playground.  The boys had fun playing.  And we then went to Walkers Drive Thru for ice cream!  I worked on catching up on emails & bookwork a little when we got home.

This morning I'm off early to pick up the boys for the day.  We have to make a quick run to Osky to the bank & our CPA's this morning.  Tonight when the boys leave I'm going to get my hair cut & I will then come home & burn the midnight oil cutting card stock.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!

It is an adoarble card box!

This is a card box that everyone made at my Spring Fling!  They also did a whole set of cards using the Botanicals Thinlits to go in this box.  Wow- this whole set was a big hit with everyone & I'll share the rest of it in the next few days with you!
I will get caught up on posts hopefully soon.

This cute box was designed for my friend Patty by our Stampin' Up! concept artists.  I just love it!  I will share dimensions & more about it when I have time to get caught up on things around here.

We had a great day yesterday stamping at my Spring Fling.  Everyone went home with tons of ideas & a whole big bag full of projects!!  I enjoyed my day & I so did everyone else.  It was pretty much a perfect day!

It was late when I get home last night & I was beat!  I got the food/kitchen stuff all carried in & crock pots & things washed.  And finally got to bed about 11.

This morning I woke up with a terrible migraine, so took some medicine & went back to bed for awhile.  I'm off soon to spend my whole day over in SE getting everything picked up, cleaned up & packed up & brought home from my Spring Fling!  Then I have to get it all unloaded & put away tonight, so our house is ready to have a house full of boys tomorrow!

Clean & Simple with Botanica Garden

Here is a clean & simple card using the Botanical Gardens Designer Paper from the Occasions Catalog.

I'm doing a whole set of cards using this designer paper, along with a cute little box for my upcoming Spring Fling.  This is one of the 5 cards I created for this set sampler.
I will update this post with the supplies used in a few days.

Boys, pigs & cutting card stock sum up my life this week!!  I'm going 100 mph.

    'Happy Home'

Here is another sneak peek at a card I created for my upcoming Spring Fling!  I thought it turned out really cute.  I used the set- 'Happy Home' from the Occasions Catalog.

I hadn't ever used our Thick Whisper White card stock before to water color on, but I tried it here.  You still don't want to get it too wet so that it doesn't bubble your paper.....but it did take the water much better than our regular Whisper White thinner card stock does.  It seemed to me that this Thick Whisper White card stock just really made the colors pop.  What do you think?

I honestly think this looks like you are really looking out the window!   Reminds me of looking out my Grandma's kitchen window on their farm.

I will update this post with the supplies in a few days.....

I'm headed to bed soon.  It has been a long day & it's gonna be another upcoming long day too.  I burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock from the minute Masen left until now.

Since we got some rain yesterday morning the races for last night were cancelled- so I didn't have to miss out on them.  (smiles)

I'm off this morning to pick up the boys for the day.  Tonight when they leave I'm a farmer helping Deke sort, mark & load outside hogs.  When we get done I'll get supper & then burn the midnight oil cutting card stock.

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!

A sneak peek at my 12x12 sampler!

Check out this cute 12x12 sampler.  I love the way it turned out!  Even though some of the words I use are for sewing, there are other words too & this could easily just be a 'crafting sampler'.

My Spring Fling is this Saturday!  We are making 2 samplers & many cards on this day.  This is one of the samplers everyone joining me will be making!  I think it turned out super cute!

I used the hostess set- 'Love You Sew' (in the Occasions Catalog) to make it, along with the awesome It's My Party Designer Series 12x12 Paper Stack.

I will update this post with the supplies in the next few days!  It is just crazy here right now & I'm going 100 mph.  I'm burning the midnight oil trying to keep up & get everything done!!

Deke is off to chore & then head to the office this morning.  And I'm off to go pick up all of my boys & spend the day with them.

Tonight Nathan will be racing in Osky & I'm bummed, but I'll be staying home to cut card stock.  Deke will just have to text me to keep me in the loop on what is happening there.

    Gotta run....
I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!

    Ginny's graduation invitation

Check out this pretty graduation invitation.  This is my niece Ginny!  Isn't she just beautiful!  She is just a very special young lady!  She is just amazing!  And I could go on & on about her.  In fact those of you that come to my classes have probably heard me talk about her (or even met her), as she loves to stamp too!  And she is a very good stamper!

She wanted me to help her design her graduation invitation.  I gave her my ideas, but she wanted something more detailed.  So this is the pretty card that we came up with for her.  She choose the colors, stamps & layout style.  I cut everything for her & she stamped, sponged, punched & assembled them all without my help.
I am so proud of Ginny for making these invitations.  It was quite a job I know.  I cut 320 invites for her to make & send out to her family & friends.

I will look up the supplies that she used here sometime later this week.  I'm going 100 mph right now trying to get everything done for my upcoming Spring Fling!  My day yesterday & again today will be busy with the boys & then I'll be a stamping crazy woman, burning the midnight oil again.  I've had great mojo & have lots of cool projects for everyone to make when they join me on Saturday for my Spring Fling!
