I LOVE this Butterfly Thinlit!!

Here is one of the cards that everyone joining me for my April classes will be making!!

I LOVE IT!  What do you think?  It is the faux silk technique.  I haven't done this technique for a long time & thought that this 'Painted Petals' set was the perfect set to do a collage like this with.

AND EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE.....
Guess what?  This Butterfly Thinlit has not been available to purchase for awhile due to the west coast dock strikes.....but you will soon be able to purchase it!!  And Stampin' Up! is offering a special to go along with it.  Woo Hoo!!

I'll share more about this tomorrow.
I'll post more about this card tomorrow too!  So be sure to check back for details & more information about this Butterfly Thinlit!

I'm off to my class here soon.  Jenny is the hostess today!  I can't wait to see everyone!!  I still have some more cutting to do, load the car, etc....gotta run.

I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!

I'm off to pick up the Seeley boys & keep them for the day.  Manda & Steve are taking pictures all weekend.  Today they are taking soccer pictures & tomorrow they are taking pictures for dance classes.  Steve's parents will keep the boys tomorrow since I'll be gone.

Brayden has a soccer game this afternoon, so we'll go & take the 3 Seeley boys with us to that.  When they go home tonight I'll be burning the midnight oil again.   I am praying that I have good mojo as I have more creating & cutting to do.

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!f

    Woo Hoo!

    SMILE!!!  It is Friday!!

I made this card awhile back & wasn't totally thrilled with it......so hadn't posted it yet.  But when looking through things to post last night I thought it was the perfect card to share today!!  Oh how I would love to have some warm temps & sunshine here!  Mother Nature teased us with a few nice spring days & then took them away.  I'm ready for them to come back.
    stamp set:  'So You'
card stock:  Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Vellum
    designer paper:  Sweet Taffy
ink:  Daffodil Delight & Basic Gray
supplies:  Candy Dot, Paper Snips, Dimensionals, Glue Dots

So what do you think of it?  Yes- I fussy cut out the clouds & the sun using paper snips.  I like the strip of vellum across the card with the words stamped on it.  This is a super cute stamp set in the Occasions Catalog.  And it would also be a great stamp set for scrapbooking too.  I can see lots of possibilities there.

Here is one of the cards everyone at Jo's party made.  It is similar to one that I did for my All Occasions Class last month- but this one is a hinged card.
Check out how it opens up.  Cool huh!!  I used the 'Work of Art' stamp set under the duck for the water & stamped it in Soft Sky.  It is hard to see though in these pictures- I'm sorry.
Here it is opened up all of the way.

Deke was gone most of yesterday to a meeting.  He chored when he got home & then worked in the fields until the early morning hours since it was still dry.  I worked on catching up on bookwork & stamp orders.  The races were cancelled due to the predicted rain.  We didn't get any rain here yesterday, but I know that some of the areas around us did get quite a bit.

I'm off to pick up the boys.  Brayden will be here after school today & gets to ride the bus out.  We are all looking forward to seeing him.  Tonight I'll be hopefully home & stamping!!  If it doesn't rain Deke will be in the field again.

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
    Happy Stamping!!

    It's Your Birthday

Here is another All Occasions class card from last month.

**Note that the star paper is from the Sale-a-bration Irresistibly Yours DSP & isn't available now.  In it's place the star embossing folder could be used.

This was a fun & simple card.  It is a cute birthday card!
    stamp set:  'Big News'
card stock:  Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White
designer paper:  Irresistibly Yours (SAB- not available now, but was when I did the class last month)

The boys & I played alot of games, puzzles, books & coloring yesterday since it was too cold & windy to go outside to play.  Darn....wish Spring would come & stay.

It was a late night on the farm for Deke working in the field again.  We didn't end up selling hogs last night- so that was a nice surprise for me.  I worked on catching up on emails & farm bookwork.  I should have been stamping- but was too tired to do it when I got everything else done.

I'm off to pick up the boys.  Deke was up early to chore & will be gone all day to a meeting in Mt. Pleasant.  Tonight is race night.  I'm planning on going.  Depending on the weather the twins might go with me.  I'll probably drive separately so that I can leave as soon as Nathan is done & head home to stamp.  Wishing Nathan & the #52 team "good luck"!

Gotta run....I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
    Happy Stamping!

This weeks- "WEEKLY DEALS" for April 7-13

    A quick wedding card...

Here is a quick post & a quick wedding card.....

This is one of the cards everyone made at my All Occasions card class.  I don't know about you, but we have several weddings coming up.  I so love hearts & the heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack fits perfectly inside the Happy Hearts Embossing folder!  Cool huh!
And of course.....how can you go wrong with black & white?  They are the perfect color for any wedding aren't they.

    stamp set:  'Big News'
card stock: Basic Black, Whisper White
    ink:  Black Memento
supplies:  Big Shot, Happy Hearts Embossing Folder, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (small heart), dimensionals

We had a busy day yesterday.  Got alot done- but not near enough.  We did have a great time with our boys last night.  We are so thankful that our kids live so close by & that we get to see them almost daily.  The boys sure had fun with their egg hunt.  And our dog Nestle did too!!  I think she thought she was suppose to be hunting with them.  It was cute!  Nestle did find a couple of the eggs & even ate a couple of the chocolates.  But oh my gosh, you should have heard the giggles as the boys ran around in the yard.  I had also bought Silly String for all of the boys- big & little.  They had a blast with their cans of string.  And we sure have a colorful yard right now!  And I'm glad I bought enough cans for the big boys to have fun with it too!  Supper was yummy, company was great & we are blessed!

Deke went back out to the field when the kids all left & worked into the early hours of this morning.  He is wanting to get as much done as he can before it started raining.  I worked on planning up coming classes, waiting on Deke to get in.  I went to bed before he quit though.  He had a short night.

I'm off here soon to pick up the boys.  I am hoping the weather it isn't wet & cold out, so that the boys can play outside some.  I'd like to see how well the twins can drive the gator this year.  Last year was scary- as they weren't very good drivers at all.

Tonight I'm a farmer, as we sell hogs.....so will be working outside late night with Deke.  I hope we don't get wet or freeze.

Wishing that you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
    Happy Stamping!

We had a nice day yesterday with Deke's family.  The Seeley's met us there, so it was fun to see the boys with the Easter Bunny.  We had fun playing in the park after we were done eating.

Deke worked in the field all afternoon/evening after we got home.  I ran to Osky to get groceries & then came home to work on putting away baskets of things from my All Occasions class.

Deke is headed to the office today for his weekly board meeting.  Sigourney Schools are on Spring Break today- so I have my day off of one job & so will working at my other job.  I hope I get alot accomplished!!

We have our family Easter tonight when everyone gets home from work.....so the boys baskets are ready & their eggs are filled.  I hope it isn't raining out so that we can have their egg hunt outside.  I think that the 3 boys are all big enough this year that it should be lots of fun doing their hunt.

Tonight I'll be a stampin' fool when everyone goes home.

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!
    Happy Stamping!

    Happy Easter!!!

Here is another card we did at my All Occasions card class.  I thought this was a fitting for card for Easter, a baptism, confirmation, etc.  It is another clean & simple card.

This Baked Brown Sugar color is a 2013-2015 In Color that will be retiring soon.  I do really like it & will miss it.  I also am going to really miss the Crisp Cantaloupe & Coastal Cabana colors too.

I highly suggest that you order any 2013-2015 In Color products that you want SOON!  FREE SHIPPING starts tomorrow (Monday 4/6) & this would be the perfect time to add any ink pads, card stock, ink refills, markers or Baker's Twine to your order.  Last year alot of the retiring In Color products were sold out before the retiring list even started.  Don't be too late & miss out this year!

card stock:  Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White
    ink:  Baked Brown Sugar
supplies:  Big Shot, Oval Collection Framelits, Perfect Polka Dots, dimensionals

Jacie's wedding invitations turned out super cute!!  I love them!  I think she did too!  I will share it with you after she sends them out.  We used Elegant Eggplant, Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla.  I'm a 'heart' girl & so is Jacie- so we added the Sweetheart punch to it too.

I spent my whole day/night stamping.  I'm trying to get things unpacked & put away from all of my stamp classes that I had in March.  I have baskets of stamping projects everywhere.  I have to get them all put away so that I can find them & start working on all of my stampin' events that I have coming up for this month.

Deke didn't get in until after midnight again.  He wants to get as much done as he can while it is dry out.  We do have rain in the upcoming forecast.

This morning we are headed out to chore.  We'll then pick up Deke's parents & go meet his brother Doug for brunch.  The Seeley's will be meeting us there too.  Nathan & Sarah are in Missouri with her family & Brayden is with his mom- so we'll have our Easter Egg Hunt & family Easter time celebration tomorrow night after everyone gets off of work.

When we get home this afternoon I'll be a busy bee stamping & Deke is off to the field.

I hope you have a blessed Easter & can spend it with your loved ones.
    Love & Blessings-

Oh how I love black & white cards.  They are just so elegant.  This is another one of the cards that everyone attending my All Occasions class made.  It is a clean & simple one.  Check out the cute little butterfly in the corner.

Not often do I make a card base white.  I just thought this one was striking though.

Oh- I pretty much spent my whole day/night yesterday working on stamping stuff.  Honestly if you still saw our house you wouldn't be able to tell, as I still have stamp stuff everywhere!  Deke worked on the farm & in the field until after midnight again.  He is gaining & making sure to take advantage of the dry ground while he can.

He's planning on choring & working in the field all day again today.  I'm going to help Cindy & Jacie plan her wedding invitations & I'm looking forward to that.  When they leave I'll spend the rest of my day/night, working on stamp stuff.  It isn't often I'm ever home on a Saturday or Sunday- so I hope to make the most of time & get caught up on things.

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!!!

    An Easter Treat!

Here is a cute little carrot that I made for Easter treats!  It is a sour cream type container that I learned to make years ago when I first started stamping!  I thought that I could make it orange & add some green to the top & make it look like a carrot.
    stamp set: 'For Peeps Sake'
card stock:  Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Old Olive
    ink:  Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
supplies:  Big Shot, Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder, Angled Tag Topper Punch, Pumpkin Pie 1/4" Cotton Ribbon, Sticky Strip

We had a really long day on the farm yesterday.  The boys were good & had fun!  And the baby piggies are so cute!  I rode in the tractor last night with Deke for awhile, as he worked until wee hours of this morning in the field again.

I think I'm actually home all day today!!  Woo hoo!!!  I literally have stamps all over our home & I need to get caught up on so much.  I pray that I get alot done.  Deke will be up early to get chores done & then spend the rest of the day/night in the field again- as long as it doesn't rain.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
    Happy Stamping!
