Today I'm sharing another card created with the 'Blended Seasons' bundle!  This is a card that everyone joining me this week, for my August monthly classes will be making!!!  Fall is my favorite time of the year, so I love using these colors together with leaves!

More- Blended Seasons

Are you tired of seeing different projects the past week that I created with this awesome- Color Your Season Bundle?  They are all different!!  Isn't it amazing the variety & the versatility there is in this Bundle!

You can CLICK here to read more about this LIMITED TIME ONLY bundle- Color Your Season!

Wow- this card doesn't have much stamping on it!  It is lean & simple.  But it give a totally different look to this Color Your Season Bundle, doesn't it!

You can't tell by the photo, but I embossed the Granny Apple Green with the Subtle's Embossing Folder.  It gives a linen like/cheese cloth texture.

I used the SPECIAL BUNDLE for this card!

The flower/leaves are from the Stitched Seasons Framelits.  And the words are from the Blended Seasons stamp set.
How did I do it?
  • I cut the flowers/leaves out of the Whisper White card stock.
  • I used the negative image of this & put a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock behind it.
  • I then cut another flowers/leaves image out of the Gorgeous Grape card stock, cut off the 3 flowers with my paper snips & popped them up using dimensionals (over the negative image leaves).
stamp set:  'Blended Season'
card stock:  Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White
ink:  Gorgeous Grape
other:   1/3/4" Circle Punch, Gorgeous Grape ribbon, Basic Pearls, Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Stitched Seasons Framelits, paper Snips, Standard Platform, Subtle Embossing Folder, Glue Dot, Dimensionals

Yesterday was a great day of stamping with everyone that joined me!! Teri had yummy treats, we stamped cute cards & had a wonderful time visiting!  And to top it off, everyone left the class with their NEW Holiday Catalog in their hands!

I stopped & picked up a Casey's pizza for our supper on my way home last night & then unloaded my car load of stamping stuff after we ate.  Deke & I ended up watching a movie & called it a night.

This morning we are up early.  Deke will chore & then head to the courthouse for his weekly board meeting.  He'll work on the farm this afternoon, chore again & then head to Fairfield to a meeting down there he has tonight.

I'm gonna walk, move all of the stamping stuff (unloaded from my Traverse) that is sitting all over the family room & get ready to spend my day with Masen & Ainslee.  Tonight when they go home I'm stamping!!  I have the projects created for my monthly classes, I just need to get the supplies all cut.  I have projects to create & cut for my team meeting I have coming up.  Our week is just jam packed!! I pray I can get everything done.  I have the 2 kids every day, we sell hogs early one morning, get baby piggies in on Thursday & I have 5 stamp classes to get ready for that I have- a monthly class here on Friday night; a monthly class here on Saturday morning; a team meeting here on Saturday afternoon & then I'm in CR all day on Sunday for my morning & afternoon monthly classes there.  Plus we have to squeeze in Masen's birthday party that we have on Saturday night- which includes cooking a roaster of pork for & baking a couple of chocolate sheet cakes too!

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!
Happy Stamping!

More 'Blended Seasons'

Oh my gosh.....I've shared lots of cards in the past couple of weeks using this awesome stamp set called- 'Blended Seasons'!!  Talk about being versatile!  This set is exactly that!

And another awesome part of this set is that it has some super cool framelits called 'Stitched Seasons' Framelits that coordinate with it too!

In my card today I just used the stamp set & some circles.  This is a quickie card.....clean & simple & cute!!  When it is time to go to bed & you're beat & have had kids all day/night.......this is what I whipped up in a few minutes so that I had a card to do a quick blog post to share with you today!
Talk about a great guy card.  Isn't this just perfect!!  I just love the way it turned out!!  I think it would make a great sympathy or get well card too- if you changed the words.

Check out the cool new ribbon trim!  It is called 3/16" Braided Linen Trim & available in the NEW Holiday Catalog that starts on September 5th!  So be sure you add this trim to your wish list!  It is really great!

To find out more about this LIMITED TIME ONLY BUNDLE you can CLICK HERE!!!
This is totally a Susie card.....my colors & all!  So what do you think?  Do you like it?

Note:  I just shadow stamped the wheat to get the variation in color & more wheat images.

Our day started out early & I had kids all day/night.  Nathan & Sarah are gone....so their 3 are staying with us for the next few days/nights.  When the Seeley boys went home for the day, we played outside some more for awhile & then got Brayden ready for Papa to take him to football practice.  While they were there I canned 8 quarts of tomatoes.  I didn't think they were ever coming home, as football practice went late......so we had a late supper!  It was then time for baths, jammies & off to bed for all of us!

This morning we are up early & I'll spend my day with all 6 kids again.  Tonight we are going to my friend Susan's to pick more tomatoes to can.  And we'll then just hang out with the kids when we get home.

Gotta run........
I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday was a busy day with the kids.  We had a wedding to go to in Fairfield last night, so ended up dropping off Masen & Ainslee at their other grandparents.  The wedding was very nice.  We hung out with the Seeley family, plus our friends Jenny, Clint & daughter Macey.  And it was great, as we saw lots of friends we hadn't seen for years.

Wow- shocker......I don't have any kids today.  So I'm up early this morning to walk & will make a quick trip to Osky to deposit a hog check & pick up a few groceries.  I'll then hurry home to stamp all day/night!  I have lots of swaps that I have to get done & in the mail tomorrow!  So I'm going to be a stamping fool with good mojo today!

Wishing you a blessed Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!

A Shirt card- GO CUBS!!

Go Cubs Go!!

Our family are all big Cubs fans......even Ainslee can say 'Go Cubs'!  So for the twins (Brody & Drake's) birthday last week I made these cards for them!
How did I do it?
  • First I made a template by taking a 4 x 5 1/4" piece of card stock, folded it in half & cut along the edge to made the sleeves & then cut the scoop at the top to make the neck of the shirt.
  • Using a pencil, I lightly traced the shirt template onto a piece of Whisper White card stock that was 4 x 5 1/4".
  • Using my Paper Snips I fussy cut along the pencil lines.
  • I then drew the stripes onto the shirt, using my Blueberry Bushel Stampin' Write Marker.
  • I just used the straight edge of card stock.
  • NOTE:  Be CAREFUL to not hurry in doing this, as you can smear the lines!! The edge of your card stock gets wet from multiple lines being drawn & then the marker is not a permanent ink & it does take a few seconds to dry.
Check out the Cubs emblem I made using our stamps!

I used the 'Lined Alphabet' stamp set for the BIG C & then colored it in with my Real Red Stampin' Write Marker.  I then individually stamped the U B & S!
This one I made into a fun fold easel card!  Check out how it looks when it is opened up!

stamp sets:  'Lined Alphabet' & 'Pick A Pennant'
card stock:  Blueberry Bushel, Whisper White
ink:  Real Red
Stampin' Write Marker: Real Red & Blueberry Bushel
other:  Everyday Label Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1 1/2" Circle Punch, Dimensionals

I stamped all day yesterday!!!  Working on the kits for everyone that ordered the 'Blended Seasons' Bundle from me.  I have them bagged & ready for everyone to get when they join me to stamp at my monthly September classes this month.  Plus I made LOTS of other cards yesterday too!  I have tons of happy mail being sent out today!  Our mail lady has a whole box full to pick up when she gets here.

We are up early this morning at 4:30 to sell hogs.  Hopefully the semi is on time so that we can get them loaded & the chores done.  Deke has a board meeting this morning & I need to get to Manda's in time to get the boys.

There is no school today, so I'll be spending my day with the 3 Seeley boys & the 2 smaller Wood kids!  Tonight when they go home I'll be stamping all night.

I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
Happy Stamping!

More- Blended Season

This is a fun Christmas card using the 'Blended Season' stamp set & coordinating Stitched Seasons framleits.  This stamp set & framelits are available in a BUNDLE!

I used the #2 Assortment Watercolor Pencils to color the Holly & the Leaves.

How did I do the bow?
  • I used the bow framelit & the Embossing Mats to do the bow.
  • I had to use my Paper Snips & fussy cut around the outside edge of it.
How did I do the holly berries?
  • I used the framelits & cut the leaves out of the Garden Green.
  • I then used the same framelit & cut just the berries out the Cherry Cobbler & snipped them off (so I just had the tiny berry part) using my Paper Snips.
  • I used my Fine Tipped Glue to attach the berries to the leaves.
I also used my Fine Tip Glue over the top of the colored berries to make them shinny!  Just be sure you let them dry for about 30 mins before you touch them or anything so that it doesn't get smeared.

Look at the ends of the strip in the center of the card that has the holly & berries on it.  Check out the Garden Green ends.  I used the REVERSE piece of the framelit to make these.

stamp set:  'Blended Season'
card stock:  Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Whisper White
ink:  Black Stazon
other:  Big Shot, Standard Platform, Embossing Mats, Magnetic Platform, Stitched Season Framelits, Paper Snips, Fine Tip Glue, Dimensionals, Red Rhinestones, #2 Watercolor Pencils- Cherry Cobbler & Garden Green, Blender Pens

Yesterday was a busy day with kids.  We went up to my mom's home to visit her, my step-dad Dick,  Aunt Virginia, Uncle Larry & cousin Le.  Uncle Larry & Le came down from McGregor to visit & bring LOTS of quilts that my Aunt Anita had made.  She passed away earlier this year & he is cleaning closets.  Oh my gosh......I am blessed!!  I got several of them.....so finished & some not finished...I will treasure them forsure.

Last night the guys went racing.  I wanted to go, but knew I had too much I had to get caught up on her at home.  Nathan won his heat & he won the main too!!!  Yeah!!

Today I'm home (alone I think) & will be stamping all day!  I hope I have good mojo!

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!
Happy Stamping!

More- Color Your Season Bundle!

It is FABULOUS Friday & I have a pretty card for you!

Those of you that know me, know that I LOVE fall!!

This is a clean & simple card, but I love the way it turned out!  It is a totally Susie card.

How did I do it?
  • I stamped the leaves onto the Whisper White card stock using my Black Stazon pad.
  • Then using Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze & Old Olive & a separate sponge for all 3 colors- I lightly sponged the colors in various places to add color.  I tapped, tapped, tapped- LIGHTLY!
TIP:  Notice how the ink almost has little dots like......so it is important to make sure you lightly tap, tap, tap & don't push or rub or your color will turn out alot darker.
HERE IS ANOTHER TIP:
I didn't want my leaf to be all the way cut out.  So I CAREFULLY added a few dimensionals on the backside of the leave BEFORE I removed it from the framelit!  That way it would keep all of the pieces inside the leaf instead of them being cut out.

stamp set: 'Blended Season'

Yesterday was a busy day with kids.  In the morning, Brayden spent several hours outside helping Deke move feeder pigs out the nurseries & into the outside lot building.  Brayden was excited & Deke was happy to have the help.  So Ainslee & Masen went with me & we ran errands in town.  Then yesterday afternoon we enjoyed the nice weather again outside.  And when the kids went home I spent my night working on stamping stuff.

This morning I'm up early to walk & will then spend my day with the kids.  My uncle Larry is coming to visit all of us at my mom's later this morning.  He lives in McGregor & we only get to see him a few times a year.  So the kids & I run up there to visit for awhile.

I'm not sure what we will end up doing tonight.  I need to stay home & stamp.  But Nathan wants to go to Columbus Junction & race.......so we'll see how our day goes & if Deke gets done moving pigs in time I might end up going with everyone.  We haven't raced there all yet & I really don't want to miss it.

Gotta run.......
I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!
Hugs-
