Yesterday was a busy day with kids.  Brayden was feeling a little better yesterday, but still didn't go back to school!  Hope he had a good night & I hope he gets to go to school today!

Last night I sorted stamp orders, placed orders & burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock!

This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to the courthouse for a meeting.  I'm off to take the twins to school & spend my day with 3 littler kids.  Tonight the boys are suppose to have football games, if they are all healthy enough to play.  When I get home from their games I'll cut a card stock cutting fool!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!

My "BOO" Banner!!

This is just so cute!!  It can hang on your wall!  Or it is even super cute just hanging on a doorknob too!

This a "BOO" Banner that I created for my upcoming Halloween Treats classes.  I used 4x4 chipboard, covered them with the Spooky Nights DSP & then added some ovals, letters & pumpkins to each square.

Check out the stinkin' cute pumpkins that I fussy cut out of the Spooky Nights DSP & added to them too.

I used the Large Letters Framelits to cut out the BOO!
And I used the layering Oval Framelits to go behind the BOO letters.

I can't wait for my upcoming classes this weekend & for everyone to come make this banner, along with LOTS of other projects that you can see BY CLICKING HERE!

Detailed Gate Thinlits Dies- Halloween card

Here is a pretty cool new Halloween stamp set- 'Graveyard Gate' & coordinating thinlits dies- Detailed Gate!!  They are in the back of the Holiday Catalog on page 54 & can be purchased separately or as a bundle.  Check out how pretty & detailed this gate is.  Neat huh!  It doesn't just have to be for Halloween either.  Can't you just see a wreath hanging from it on a Christmas card?  Or a pot of flowers sitting next to it?  I can think of lots of other ideas & hope I have time in the coming weeks to get to play with this a little more.

This card is one of the Halloween card I created for my upcoming Halloween Treats classes.

The gate is taller, but I cut about 2" off of the bottom of it, so that I could have more of the spooky sky showing on my card front.
Oh- and I used the neat 'Marbled' background stamp to give the sky a swirly (spooky) look!

I also added bats & the gravestones (behind the fence).  And then the padlock on the gate is kinda neat too & finishes off the whole theme of the card.

stamp sets:  'Marbled' background, 'Graveyard Gate'
card stock:  Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Whisper White (for inside greeting), Silver Foil
ink:  Archival Basic Black, Smoky Slate
other:  Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Precision Plate, Detailed Gate Thinlits Die, Seasonal Tags Framelits Dies (for the bat), 1 1/2" Circle Punch, Black Rhinestones, Dimensionals

It was late when I got home last night.  I stopped & got a few groceries & things on my way home from my stamp classes that I had.  My classes were great!!!  We all enjoyed our time stamping together.  And Loririe & Chris were great hostesses too!

This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'm off to go pick up the boys, take the twins to school & spend my day with Trey, Masen & Ainslee.  I am praying that they all have a healthy week this week & we don't have to make any trips to the dr. with sick kids!

Tonight when the kids go home I'll be a card stock cutting fool!!!  I have LOTS of projects to get cut this week, for my upcoming Halloween Treats classes that I have this coming weekend.

Gotta run....

And here is the whole thing from the front!!  I punched out the Witches Pot with the Everyday Label Punch.  And then I added that same punch to the top of the Test Tube Holder too!

Yesterday was a busy day with kids.  And Ainslee was sick again.  Deke had a meeting yesterday morning, but thankfully he stayed home with the 2 littler boys in the afternoon & I just had to take one kid with me.  Ainslee's ear infection is cleared up, but she was running a temp & has a red throat & a little rash.  Her dr. said she thought it was just viral, so no meds.  We'll see.......she sure was a crab.  Poor baby!  You could tell that she didn't feel well at all.  We just can't win with having healthy kids lately!  Maybe next week will be our lucky week!  We need it- that is forsure.

So when the kids were gone last night I burnt the midnight oil stamping!!  I'm working on finishing up all of the projects for my upcoming Halloween Treats Classes that I am having next weekend.  They are all SO CUTE!!!  I will be sharing them here on my blog the next couple of weeks, so be sure you stop by the check them all out!

Today I'll be home all day (& hopefully alone).  Deke has power washing to get done in the grower & I have LOTS of card stock that I have to get cut.  Tomorrow is my monthly group in Hiawatha & I am looking forward to seeing everyone & spending my day there stamping with them.

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!

I also used the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate too!  It is a printed acetate & sure adds that special touch.  This acetate is gold on one side, but turn it over & it is silver on the other side.  That is pretty cool!

Don't you think it is elegant!

'Painted Harvest'

I LOVE this stamp set!!  It is probably one of my very favorite ones in the Holiday Catalog.  It is called- 'Painted Harvest'!!!  It just has so much versatility!

CHECK out the card I made HERE using this exact same layout with 'Colorful Seasons' stamp set!
stamp set:  'Painted Harvest' & 'Burlap' Background
card stock:  Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Whisper White
ink:  Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede

other:  Jute Twine, Copper Ribbon, Dimensionals, Glue Dots

I made this card using the left over pieces from the 'Colorful Seasons' card I posted the link to above.  It is pretty cool to think that they are both very pretty cards, but look so differently.

Last month I offered card kits to those that purchased the 'Carols of Christmas' Bundle.  This month I'm offering card kits to those that purchase this 'Painted Harvest' Bundle- the stamp set & the Leaf Punch!

I have created another cute card using the 'Painted Harvest' stamp set for all of my monthly September classes.  I'll be posting it sometime later this week for you to see.

The Seeley boys went back to the doctor.  Drake is on some different meds.  I hope everyone else is on the uphill side!!!  Gosh- we've sure had our share of different cruds the past few weeks around here.

We went & voted for the school elections last night.  And then came home to finalize orders & went to bed early since we were up so early to sell hogs.  I had hoped to stamp, but that just didn't happen.

This morning Deke is up early to chore & he'll be heading to Mt. Pleasant to meetings all day.  I'm off to go pick up all of the kids for the day, take the twins to school & spend my day with Trey, Masen & Ainslee.

Tonight we'll be going to watch the boys play football.

'Carols of Christmas'

Here is a Night of Navy, Whisper White & Silver card.  It is a really pretty card- especially in person, as the photo doesn't capture it well at all.

I used the Woodand Embossing Folder on the Night of Navy card stock- which looks really cool!

And then check out the glitter trees that I used with the Silver Glimmer Paper. I added a little strip of the Mini Silver Sequins too to give it some more dimension.

Yesterday Trey was still sick, but on the uphill side I think.  He kept everything down, ate & drank a little & slept alot!  I pray everyone stays healthy!  We've sure had our battle lately with sick kids.  And it isn't fun for any of us.

Last night was Grandparents PEO Spagetti Supper at the Elementary.  So Deke & I took the 3 older boys & went to it.  It was nice!!  They had Bingo to play & we played on the playground.  We then took Brayden to football practice & stopped to buy the Seeley boys slushies on the way home.

I placed orders from my weekends classes & connected with my hostesses last night.  It was a short night of sleeping, as this morning I'm a farmer!  Deke & I are up at 4 am to mark, sort & load hogs again!!!  I'll then come in, shower & go take the twins to school & spend my day with Trey, Masen & Ainslee again.  Tonight I hope to get to stamp some before calling it a night!!!!

It is just Smoky Slate & Whisper White- so very neutral.  But be sure you look closely at the dotted Acetate Designer Paper.  It is SO COOL!  I used the silver side of the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate- #141653- pg. 194 in the Annual Catalog for $12.  One side of this is silver or you just turn it over & it is gold.  Super neat!
