Textures & Frames combined with Peguin Place

WOW!

Oh my gosh.... I LOVE it!

 

You all know that I've had fun creating with the 'Textures & Frames' stamp set.

This stamp set is a FREE Sale-a-bration choice you can get with a

Check out the CUTE ornament card I made using this 'Textures & Frames' stamp set!!!

Aren't these ornaments just so neat!

 

I used the striped DSP from the Peaceful Prints DSP-

that is a Sale-a-bration choice with a $50 product order, 

thru 9/30/21.

 This is a totally Susie card!

 

How did I so this?

1.  Draw the ornament strings?

I used the edge of card stock & drew the line with a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker! 

2.  Get the hook for the ornament?

It is the little bag stamp that is in the 'Penguin Place' stamp set!

3.  Where are the Seasons' Greetings from?

They too are in the 'Penguin Place' stamp set!

4.  The tiny stars are punched out using the Starlit Punch!

5.  The striped DSP is from the Peaceful Prints DSP Pack.

Feels Like Home

 I made this monochromatic card using the Sale-a-bration

stamp set called- 'Feels Like Home'!

You can get this stamp set for FREE with a $50 product order

Check out how I added the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder

along the left edge.

To make this look a little 'old', I sponged around the 

edges of it with Early Espresso ink.

I really like the way this card turned out!

They are sooo easy to do!

It is a standard card base- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"-score at 4 1/4".

Then you can just fold back the front or score it at 2 1/8" & fold back.

It is so easy!

Our past week has been totally crazy!

Sadly, Deke's mom passed away last weekend.

Her visitation was Friday night, her funeral was yesterday & her burial will be today.

We have had lots of questions from our little ones about death.

Ainslee says that grandma is in heaven as an angel.

So when we got home late last night- I just had to create a card using this new stamp set!

Reflected in Nature

 I made this "wintery" card using snowflakes & the cabin/water

from the "Reflected in Nature" stamp set.

This is a DIS"INK"TIVE style stamp,

which means the light & dark shading in the stamp are already there.

All you have to do is ink this up & stamp it one time 

& you get this gorgeous look!

A fall leaves card using Textures & Frames

 

 I used the 'Textures & Frames' stamp set.

This stamp set is a Sale-a-bration choice that you can get for 

FREE with a $50 product order.

 

 This stamp set was still on my counter & I decided to make this quick card last night!

I stamped the leaves using Early Espresso ink.

And then I stamped solid circles over them

using Crushed Curry, Old Olive & Cajun Craze inks.

Notice how I added a piece of Early Espresso card stock

that I embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.

Frames & Textures

 I am always making thank you cards!

SO last night I whipped up this one with some left over pieces 

I had laying on my stamping table.

Last week I posted a pretty Polished Pink card using this 'Frames & Textures'-

Sale-a-bration stamp set!

I think it turned out super cute!

Red White & Blue Stars with Seasonal Swirls Dies

Merry Snowflakes

I used the Soft Pastel Chalks to color these embossed snowflakes!!

Oh- isn't this a subtle & pretty card!

Notice the Embossed Snowflakes onto a piece of 

Basic White card stock,  using the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder. 

I then scrapped off some of my Soft Pastel Chalk powder onto a 

Silicone Craft Mat & rubbed the chalk over  the embossed snowflakes

using a Blending Brush.

Cutest Halloween Tombstone Treat Box- 8 weeks to Halloween countdown!

 I LOVE IT!!!!!

So.....keep reading to see how I created this!

This is a Tombstone Treat Box found on page 51 in the Holiday Mini.

And look how I repurposed it into a dresser box!

CUTE HUH!

 

These are the Tombstone Treat Boxes- page 51 Holiday Mini

#156486= $10.00 for 8 boxes.

NOTE that these boxes are slightly different sized so that they can slide together.

When they come in the package there will be 8 larger boxes on the bottom

& 8 smaller boxes on the top.

 

The boxes already have the adhesive strips on them & are pre-scored.

All you have to do is fold, peel the adhesive strip tape off & stick them together!

It is sooooo easy to do!

 

How did I make this dresser?

On both of the boxes I snipped in like this along the bottom edge

to make the "LEGS" of my dresser.

I added Tear & Tape to this little flap & stuck it to the bottom of the dresser.

I used my Whisper White Craft ink pad & stamped Spider Webs

onto the box front.

I then put White Embossing Powder onto it & heat set it with the Heat Tool.

*NOTE- be sure you use our hands to put pressure on the underside of the box

when you are stamping the webs.  If you don't get a good image you can quickly wipe

it off with a kleenex & restamp them!

 

TIP:

IF you have an Embossing Buddy- I recommend you use it on the box before you stamp.

We use to carry Embossing Buddies, but no longer do- I'm sorry!

 Look how I used my scissors & cut the back top part off here.  

I used my Basic Gray card stock & cut 3 strips-

3/4 x 2 3/4" each.

I sponged around the 4 edges of each of them with my 

Whisper White Craft Ink pad.

I added dimensionals to them & put them onto the dresser front.

I added Black Matte Dots on the end of each of them for the 

dresser drawer knobs.

I added dimensionals on the back of the 2 front ghosts

& the back ghost is hiding behind the dresser top!

NOTE:  The front dresser piece is the larger of the 2 boxes.

It slides over the top of the smaller one in the back.

Frames & Textures

 

I love this fun card made using the 'Frames & Textures' stamp set.

This stamp set is a SAB choice that you can get for FREE with a $50 product order.

Here is the stamp set- 'Textures & Frames'!

Notice how I stamped the circles onto Basic White card stock

& then layered them onto another piece of Basic White card stock, 

which I added splatter stamped images onto the edges of it.

Look at these circles.

Which circles do you like better?

This- #1 or That- #2?

#1 is where I stamped both the solid circles & the outline circles using Polished Pink ink.

#2 is where I "stamped off" the solid circles onto my scrap paper & then stamped them onto the Basic White card stock, using Polished Pink ink.  I then stamped the outline circles full strength over solid stamped off circles.

 

I love how this card turned out!

It is clean, simple & just stinkin' cute!

 

Did you notice that I added a strip of DSP underneath the words?

This strip is from the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP on page 25 in the Holiday Mini.
