Yesterday was a busy day!  I was up early & got alot done before I headed to town to Manda's.  The kids & I ENJOYED the beautiful day & were outside alot.  It was so nice to see the sun shining!  Last night Deke & I went to Brayden's first baseball game.  My mom, Aunt Virginia, Nathan, Sara, Masen, Ainslee & Sarah's parents were all there.  His team won 18 to 7.  The boys sure looked really good & they have improved & grown up so much from last year.  Brayden even pitched the last inning & did a great job!  I burnt the midnight oil stamping when we got home.

This morning I'm up early to get some stamping things done before the kids get here.  Nathan & Sarah both have early meetings- so Masen & Ainslee will be here before I head to town to get Trey.  I'll spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Tonight when they go home I'll be stamping all night!  This week is crazy busy.....and tonight is the only night this week I'll be home.  I have 4 stamp classes to get ready for that I have this week, plus swaps, book work, etc......

I will get pictures of some more NEW catalog cards I've created & share them tomorrow......I am sorry I didn't have time to get photos of them taken yesterday.

Gotta run......
I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
Happy Stamping!

Flowers!

I just wanted to do a quick post today & share these.....
Here are the flower pot/hand prints that the kids made on Friday for their mom's for Mother's day!
I was impressed that the 2 boys chose their own color of flowers, punched out their own flowers, and put them onto their hand print (finger tips) using dimensionals too!

I should have gotten a photo of them when we were using the green paint to make their hand prints.
It was fun & messy!
We had to re-do Ainslee's- as she smeared hers pretty bad the first time she did it.
Trey & Masen
Here is a picture of the boys with their completed projects!
They were pretty proud- can you tell!
Ainslee was still napping, so we didn't get her picture taken with them.
+++++++
What a busy weekend.  I had tons I should have been doing......but I actually re-painted our family room walls all day on Saturday & all day/evening on Sunday!  The walls were a light tan & now they are a light gray......no one else will probably ever notice that I did it but me.  The walls had a few little dings in the paint (that had happened over the past few years), so I thought I'd touch up those spots.  I used the 'old' light tan paint & it was too tried out & darker in color & absolutely looked terrible......so I just had to repaint the whole room, as I couldn't stand looking at the messed up walls.  It looks nice.  It was alot of work.  But I'm glad it is done.
This morning Deke is up early to chore & head to the courthouse for his weekly board meeting.  I'm up early to work on stamping stuff.  I'll then be at Manda's by 7:30, take the boys to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Tonight the 3 big boys have baseball games......so we'll go to them & then I'll stamp when we get home.  I have several swaps I have to get done this week & mailed out.  Plus I have 4 stamp classes this coming weekend to created, cut & get ready for!  It is going to be a crazy week here for sure!
Stop back by tomorrow & I'll share another New Catalog Sneak Peek with you!!
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday I enjoyed a busy day with the 3 little ones.  We were outside some & Deke picked up meat at the locker, so we put it away too.  We made Mother's Day gifts for Manda & Sarah....with paint, punches, card stock & dimensionals.  And I'll share a photo of their craft creations in the next day or two.

Grandma's Hair Hut was open too......Trey & Drake both got their hair cut.  Deke went with Nathan, Sarah & their kids- racing at Columbus Junction.  He got 4th in his heat, started 12th in the main & was doing great, but pulled in as his motor was over heating.  I went to Drake & Brody's first baseball game with the Seeley family & aunt Kathy was there too.  They did a great job!  It was fun to watch them. I then came home & burnt the midnight oil stamping!

This morning- Deke is off early to chore, I'm gonna work on things around the house & we will then go to town to watch all 4 boys play soccer.  Tonight we have Mother's Day supper with Deke's family- so I'll have food to make this afternoon for that.

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!!

A NEW Catalog Sneak Peek!

Check out these pretty flowers!  They are from a new stamp set in the upcoming Annual 2019-2020 Catalog that starts on June 4th, 2019!

The stamp set is called- 'Floral Essence'.  It has a few totally different flower images in it, along with these great words!  I love the word font in this stamp set.
Again- I combined some NEW products with some RETIRING designer paper called All My Love!!!

Check out how I colored the flowers.  I used my Wink of Stella.  Since the Lovely Lipstick ink that I stamped the flowers with using a permanent ink- when you use your Wink of Stella over it- it smears.....thus I followed the stamped line images in the flowers & highlighted (or colored) the flowers in some.

Did you notice the 3 little dots?  I made them with the fine tip end of my Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Write Marker....and old thing I learned years ago & often did in my scrapbooking.

This NEW stamp set- 'Floral Essence' is awesome, with endless possibilities!!  I have several cards made with it & I'll be sharing them with you in the next couple of weeks.

Yesterday was a busy day with the kids.  All of them where here in the afternoon!  When they went home- I spent my night working in our toy room.  I touched up paint in that room a couple of months ago where the walls had been dinged from stamping tables & toys.  the paint was old & looked terrible when it dried.....so I'm going to repaint that room this weekend.

This morning I'm off to go pick up the boys, take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  I'm not sure what we are going to do tonight.  Nathan is racing in Columbus Junction & the twins have their first baseball game.  We'll see how our day goes & what the weather is like.

Gotta run.....
I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!

Yesterday was a busy day with the kids.  We played games, cards & all kinds of things all morning.  I was trying to keep them busy.  It was too cold & wet outside to play there.

Last night I met my mom in Sigourney & we went to the Keokuk County Hospice Service.  It was very nice!  I am glad that I went.  My step-dad, Dick was one of the many loved ones that was honored at this service.  My Aunt Virginia, step sisters, Debbie & Brenda & Debbie's daughter came too.

This morning I'm off to Manda's.  I'll take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  School gets out early today, so the 3 big boys will ride the bus & be here early.  Tonight I have lots of stamping stuff I have to get done when everyone has gone home.  Deke is home all day to work on the farm, as he is power washing, trying to get for baby piggies.

I hope you have a GREAT Thursday!!

Yesterday was a busy day with the kids.  It was a quite one- as I just had Ainslee & Trey, until school got out & the 3 big boys were here too.  Last night I took Brayden to soccer practice & shortly after that, Ainslee went home.  Deke & I ran to my sister/brother-in-laws (Beckie & Dan's) for a bit, then stopped at the Copper Lantern to eat supper & made a quick trip to What Cheer to the bank (for a night deposit).

This morning we are up early!  Deke is off to chore & then head to Mt. Pleasant for a meeting.  I'm up early to get some bookwork done.  Then on my way to town, to Manda's- I'll stop by & pick up Brayden.   I'll feed the boys breakfast, take the 3 big boys to school & then spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Tonight I'm not sure what we'll end up doing.....as we are suppose to race (if they don't get rained out).  And I also have a Hospice Memorial Service that I'm attending tonight at 6:30, with my mom- to honor my step-dad, Dick.  If the races get cancelled, I'll be stamping after I get home from the hospice memorial service.  If we don't get much rain & the races are on.....I'll be cheering on #52 Wood Racing team!

We are loving the weather the past couple of days.......having fun in the sandbox & playing outside.  I'm hoping that the sun comes out & sticks around!  We need some warmth & sunshine for the farmers.....we don't even have our corn planted yet!  So I hope Mother-Nature doesn't dump all of the predicted rain on us.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!

Spool card!

This is a fun card!  I made it using the Envelope Punch board.  When we were at On Stage there were paper spools (similar to this size) with different ribbons & things for us to see.  I thought then- wow- that would make a great card!!!

Originally I was going to use the Needlepoint Nook DSP & Needle & Thread stamp set with it.  I changed my mind though when going through DSP- as I just love this Navy in the background of this DSP.  It is from the Happiness Booms DSP.  I think it worked great & turned out super cute!

How did I do it?
1.  Piece of THICK Whisper White CS- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2"- fold in half for card base.

2.  Put all 4 corners in the Envelope punch bard at 1 1/2" & punch notch.
 3.  Put card into Stampin' Trimmer at 3 7/8" & cut off card stock between the 2 notches on both sides.

 4.  This is what it looks like after you cut off both sides- between the tabs!
And this is what it looks like opened up- when it is finished!

'Sweetest Thing'- Explosion Pop Up card!

Wow- this is a fun card that I made yesterday for my May monthly classes!  It is bright, cheery & fun!!!  It would make a great card for a birthday, retirement, graduation, etc.  Wouldn't it be great for any celebration!
Where did I get this cupcake at?  It is actually an image in the How Sweet It Is DSP!  There isn't a framelit that coordinates with it, so I fussy cut it out with my Paper Snips.  I added some Wink of Stella to the frosting too- to add some sparkle!  Isn't it cute!

The doily- what is it?  This is the back side of the Colored Doilies- pg. 192 in the current Annual Catalog.  You get 24 doilies for $4.50.  I just used the back side of them, so that they were all white.  I just punched out a piece of the stripped DSP, using the 2 1/4" Circle Punch.
Check out the inside!  I did a fun explosion type- pop up!  I haven't done one of these for quite awhile.  It just added that extra fun to the card!

So what do you think?  Isn't it a fun card!  I hope everyone likes it!

Garden Impressions

I was playing last week on making an easel card.......and ended up using my Garden Impressions DSP.
Look at the little envelope.  I made it using the NEW Stitched Nested Labels dies in the upcoming Annual Catalog, along with some NEW Vellum too.  And I also used the NEW Stitched Nested Labels die for the pocket here too!
Here it is standing up!
Here it is opened up!

I will share more about this in the next couple of days.......we have a jam packed weekend & I have lots to get done.
+++++++
The kids & I played outside for awhile yesterday morning.  It was nice while the sun was out- but was chilly & windy when it wasn't.  Last night when they went home I burnt the midnight stamping.

This morning I'm up early to stamp.  We'll run to town for a bit later this morning, as all 4 boys- Brayden, Brody, Drake & Trey are all playing soccer this morning.  And I've had a stamp class every Saturday since they started playing....so I've sadly missed watching them.  I'll then hurry home to stamp all day/night!

I hope you have a SENSATIONAL Saturday!
Happy Stamping!
