Yesterday was a busy day on the farm with the boys & piggies. Brayden rode the bus here after school, so the boys had fun playing outside again. After Steve got off work, Susie's Hair Hut was open for business to get his hair cut. When the Seeley's went home Brayden went to the field to ride with Papa in the tractor & hang out with us all night. When he went to bed I burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock.
Nathan, Sarah, Masen & Trevor went to Kansas City to race last night, tonight & Saturday night in the USRA Nationals. Nathan won his heat last night & he got wrecked in the main on the 1st lap. Thankfully he is ok......just has front left damage. Hope he has good luck tonight!
This morning I'm off early to get the boys (Brayden, Brody & Drake) all to school. Then Trey & I have errands to run in town. Trey is going to ride with Papa for awhile in the tractor, while I work on cutting card stock. When the boys go home tonight I'll be hurrying to get everything all finished & set up for everyone that is joining me tonight at our home for one of my monthly stamp classes here.
Deke is home to work on the farm all day. He is planning to chore & then spend the rest of the day/night in the field again.
Gotta run.....
I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!

A sweet Gingerbread Man!
Awhh......here is another card created using the 'Cookie Cutter Christmas' set & coordinating punch. I just think it turned out super cute. It is a true Susie card- with the layout, the colors & the dimension.
Isn't he a cute little gingerbread man with his bow tie? But what if you put the bow on has a hair bow- then she'd be a cute little gingerbread girl!
The font in the stamp set- 'Candy Cane Christmas' is just really cool!
And-check out the new Cable Knit Embossing folder & the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack that I used here too. They all just went together perfectly!
This would make an adorable Christmas card wouldn't it! But it would also make a sweet birthday card for a younger one (or even someone younger at heart)!
stamp set: 'Candy Cane Christmas' & 'Cookie Cutter Christmas'
card stock: Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Whisper White
designer paper: Warmth & Cheer DSP Stack
ink: Real Red, Crumb Cake
marker: Cherry Cobbler
other: Big Shot, Cable Knit Embossing Folder, Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, White Accents, 2" Circle Punch, Dimensionals

Yesterday was a different day with just the 2 little ones here. After school the twins were here too & Susie's Hair Hut was open & I got their hair cut. When the 3 Seeley boys went home, Masen & I rode a round in the tractor with Deke. When Masen went home I spent my night stamping! I was way behind in getting cards out to my team.....so there is a huge pile of cards in my mailbox now to get picked up today! And Deke spent the night working in the field.
This morning Deke is off early to chore & get ready for more baby piggies to be delivered. I'm off to go pick up the boys. We'll all be headed out then to work on the farm all morning! Tonight when the boys all go home I'll be spending my night cutting card stock! And Deke will be working the field again.....guess we sound like a broken record.
I hope you have a very special Thursday!!

A wintery card using 'Totally Trees'!
Here is a beautiful wintery card using the 'Totally Trees' set in the Holiday Catalog on page 48.
I did the crayon resist technique. I just love the way it turned out!!
This card is one that everyone joining me for my monthly classes this week will be making!
stamp set: 'Totally Trees' & 'Merriest Wishes'
card stock: Marina Mist, Dapper Denim, Thick Whisper White
designer paper: Fancy Frost Specialty DSP
ink: Black Stazon, Marina Mist
other: Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Layering Circle Framelits, Mica Flakes Trio Pack (White), Multipurpose Glue, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Dapper Denim 3/8" Ruched Ribbon, Sponge, White Crayon, Best Badge Punch (to make the pointed ends on the words)
After I took these photos of the card to post here I decided that I I should have added the White Mica Flakes to make the snow sparkle! So I did just that! And this is how beautiful it is!

Yesterday was a great day with the boys, helping Deke on the farm! They are quite the little farmers!
Brody, Drake & Trey
Last night when the boys all went home I did farm bookwork & ran a hog check to Osky to the night deposit at the bank. While I was there I got a few groceries too. When I got home I made a late supper & took it to Deke in the field. I rode with him for a while in the tractor & then came in & burnt the midnight oil working on stamping stuff- waiting for Deke to call it a night & come in from the field.
This morning Deke is off early to chore, head to the courthouse for a bit & then he will spend the rest of his day in Mt. Pleasant for meetings.
I'm off to go get the boys ready for school, as the twins have pre-school today. Then Trey & Masen will be hanging out again today with Grandma.
Tonight after school Susie's Hair Hut needs to be open for business to get the twins hair cut. Then when the boys all go home I'll be burning the midnight oil cutting card stock! If it doesn't rain Deke will be spending the night working in the field again.
I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!

Yesterday was a busy day with my boys. Brayden was here for awhile after school too. The boys sure all love playing together. It is so nice to have them enjoy playing outside on these beautiful fall days. Brody rode with Papa in the tractor for awhile. He loved it! Trey wanted to go.....so I will send him sometime later this week out to ride with Papa.
When the boys went home I painted canning rings for a craft project I'm doing with the boys- making pumpkins. Then I worked on placing orders & SU! things until about 10:45. I went out & rode with Deke in the tractor until it started raining about 12:20. He decided at that time to call it a night & was shutting everything down when I headed to the house.
This morning we are all up early & on the go! Deke is off to chore & get things ready for our baby piggies that are coming this morning. I'm off to go pick up the boys & get back home to eat a quick breakfast & be outside before the baby piggies get here, so I can help Deke. The boys are excited to get to help Papa on the farm today!
And then tonight Deke will work in the field again & I'll burn the midnight oil cutting card stock!!

'Father Christmas'
Here is another card created with the stamp set- 'Father Christmas'. For it I used traditional Christmas colors of red & green to make it. This is clean & simple, yet it is dressed up a bit with the embossing folder & the layering of the punches.
I do really like this stamp set. It just reminds me of an old fashioned traditional Christmas/Santa theme.
This card is another one I created for my Christmas Card Class.
stamp set: 'Father Christmas'
card stock: Real Red, Garden Green & Very Vanilla
ink: Real Red
other: Big Shot, Holly Textured Embossing Folder, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, 2" Circle Punch, Decorative Label punch, Dimensionals

I had a busy day yesterday!! It was full of lots of stamping!! I so enjoyed my time stamping & visiting with everyone that joined me. Thanks for Deb, Lori, Peg & Teri for helping to set up. And to Lori, Dena, Jenny & Teri for helping to clean up! Lori was our hostess & had a Halloween Theme for her snacks that were super cute!
When I got home I went out to the field & rode with Deke in the tractor. We got in about 10:30 & ate a late supper & called it a night. We were both beat.
This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting. I'm off to go get my car unloaded & everything carried in from yesterdays class & then I'm off to go pick up my boys for the day! Deke will be working in the field this afternoon & late tonight- so they boys are excited that they can each get to ride with him for awhile.
I plan to spend my night cutting card stock after the boys go home.
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!

'A Joyful Nativity'-
Here is a beautiful Christmas card using the set- 'Joyful Nativity' that is in the main catalog on pg. 35.
I think that Night of Navy & Silver Foil combined just make a stunning combination!
I like the angel that I have stamped, punched out & put in the center of the "O".
This card is one of the options for my upcoming Christmas Card Class & it will also probably be one of the cards everyone at my upcoming Holiday Extravaganza will get to make too.
This card reminds me of my mom. She loves Navy & Silver combined together too & I think she'd really like this!
stamp set: 'Joyful Nativity'
card stock: Night of Navy, Whisper White, Silver Foil
ink: Night of Navy
other: Silver Sequins, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Fine Tip Glue, 1 1/2" Circle Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch

Masen was up bright & early yesterday morning. It was late morning when Nathan & Sarah got here to get him. I was then on a mission to finish creating cards & getting cardstock cut!
I made a quick trip to the races last night & got their just in time for Nathan's heat. I joined Manda & the 3 boys in the stands as we cheered him on. He got 2nd in his heat & 6th in the main. I came home as soon as he was done. And I then burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock!
I'm up early this morning & will finish getting everything packed up & loaded to head out to N. Liberty for my monthly class there. Lori is our hostess this month! I can't wait for everyone to see my cards, as I think they turned out super cute! I will be posting them starting later this week here on my blog, so be sure to check back to see them.
I look forward to spending my time stamping with everyone joining me for today's class.
Deke is up early & headed out to chore. He will then be headed to the field. He started pumping yesterday & he will be spending many hours the next few weeks in the tractor.
Gotta run...
I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!

It's an old fashioned 'Father Christmas'!
This is clean & simple card, yet it is elegant too!! I just love this old fashioned Santa!
I have been working on creating cards for my upcoming Christmas Card Class & my Holiday Extravaganza. This is one of my Christmas Card Class options & it may be a Holiday Extravaganza card too!
This Santa would be beautiful all colored.....although in my crazy/busy life (and I know others of you are so busy too), I don't have time to do all of the coloring. I know that when I'm mass producing & making many of the same card- I want something that is simple, yet a wow too & so I think this card turned out just perfect!
Sometime in the next few days I'll also be sharing 2 other 'Father Christmas' cards that I made too....and neither of them are colored & I think they are both very pretty too!
stamp set:'Father Christmas'
card stock: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso & Very Vanilla
ink: Early Espresso
other: 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1 1/2" Circle Punch, Dimensionals

It was a busy day with the boys yesterday. Drake had a temp yesterday morning. We think it was from his flu shot that he got on Thursday afternoon. So he had to stay home & missed pre-school. Brody got to go to school alone. I think that it was the first time ever that they'd been split up for that long of a time period. Drake was very sad that he had to miss school- which it is great that he likes it so well. But I had a good day with just Drake, Trey & Masen all together.
When the boys left I stamped until it was time for us to walk out the door & head to the races. We got there just as the Stock Car heats were beginning. Nathan won his heat & got 2nd in the main. He looked great & the races were all good. There were about 10 cautions in the Stock Car main- which is what caused Nathan to get 2nd place. Nathan lead about 18 of the 20 total laps. It was such a bummer that he didn't win. There were over 120 cars there though for all 5 classes, so that is awesome that Nathan did so well & I shouldn't be complaining about a 2nd place position.
Masen came home with Deke & I after the races to spend the night. Everyone else is camping at the race track. Nathan will come get Masen this morning sometime, as I have LOTS of stamping to get done today! I am praying for good mojo!
Tonight we'll all head back to the races for the 2nd night of the Fall Challenge. I hope Nathan has a good night of racing again tonight.
Gotta run......
Wishing you all a SENSATIONAL Saturday!

A little treat!
I made this little treat a couple of weeks ago......it was what I took to give to everyone that was with me last week when I was in Wisconsin.
I think it turned out super cute!! It was a fun & simple little treat holder to make. And of course I filled a cello bag full of chocolates & tied it with a our Kraft Rope Twine.
It is a diaper fold done with a 6x6 piece of designer paper. Super easy to fold & make!
stamp set: 'Acorny Thank You'
card stock: Early Espresso, Delightful Dijon
designer paper: Petals & Paisleys Specialty DSP (12x12- cut to 6x6)
ink: Early Espresso
other: 3x6 Gusseted Cello Bag, Kraft Rope Twine, 5/8" Burlap Ribbon, Acorn Builder Punch, Classic Label Punch, Glue Dots, Dimensionals
How did I do this?
1. 6x6" designer paper
2. Fold in half to form triangle.
3. Fold top flap down & then lift back up for now.
4. Fold right flap in to CENTER.
5. Fold left flap in to CENTER.
6. Fold top flap back downward
7. Your treat holder is finished!

Yesterday was busy day with all of my boys. We had a fun day & played outside, enjoying the beautiful weather some too.
Last night I was a farmer & helped Deke on the farm with the pigs. When we got in I sorted orders & worked on stamp stuff.
This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for the morning. I'm off early to go to Manda's, as she has an early meeting. I'll get the boys up, fed & the twins off to pre-school for the day. I'll spend my day with Trey & Masen. Tonight when the boys go home I'm a farmer again, helping Deke sell hogs & move pigs. We are getting ready for new baby piggies that we'll be getting next week!

I'm off this morning to go pick up all of the boys & take Brayden to school. I'm hoping the weather is nice again & we can play outside again. Tonight when the boys leave I'm a farmer- helping Deke sort pigs. I hope to get to do some stamping too before I go to bed.

Home Sweet Home!
I got home last night!! I had a great time in Door County with some dear friends, seeing some of the beautiful sites & doing lots of stamping!!
You all know I love fall!! And each year I add fall things to our yard. Deke & I did this a couple of weeks ago & some of you have asked what my fall decorations look like & wanted me to share photos with you!!
Well- here is our home all decorated for fall! I hung corn on all of the fence posts & have little pumpkins sitting on top of each fence post too!
Check out our old scarecrow, cornstalk husk, corn & pumpkins along our fence.
The scarecrow has an old pair of my Grandpa Cox's bib overalls on & the hankie around his neck was my dads.
And here is a close up of our family room door & our new new brick! We just love it & are so happy we did it! I searched high & low for the right brick & we looked at LOTS of different brick homes the past 4 months- trying to find the perfect one for us. I wanted it to look 'old' & match the stained siding we have from when we built our home 23 years ago. Ben (our brick layer) did a great job making it look like it has always been there from the beginning when our home was built. Check out how he did the "Soldier" layout along the top of the brick.
The bottom 3 feet of our siding & sheeting were rotten & had to be replaced. We checked into replacing it last fall, but it was going to cost more than we had in our budget to be able to do. We had put a brick ledge in when we built our home & a family friend (Ben) is a farmer & a brick layer & he offered to do it for us. Boy are we glad we waited & had him brick it instead of just replacing the rotten siding. As we spent less than 1/2 of what the bid was we got last fall for putting a fake stone siding on it.
The brick layer is all finished laying the brick....but the house is not all done. We are waiting on the carpenter to come back to finish up some trim around the doors & put my storm door back on & then caulk around all of the windows. And the brick layer has to come back & caulk between the brick & the siding. And I have to re-paint the porch & then I'm going to put another coat of stain on the top part (siding) of our house. Hopefully we get this all done before it gets too cold out. We'll see if it all gets done or not! It might not all happen until Spring!
We love how it all turned out though!! And I can't wait until it is all completely done!
