This is a fun fold card I made using the 'Taco Fiesta' stamp set.
The oval with the words on it are a "latch" to hold the front shut.
When you unlatch it & begin opening it up- it looks like this.
This is what it looks like completely opened up.
Look at the pile of them that I made!
There are 24 here!
I just used my scissors & snipped.
NOTE: Be sure you don't go all of the way to the back of the strip-
so that it all stays together and doesn't fall apart.
Here are the supplies & measurements.
stamp set: 'Taco Fiesta'
card stock:
- Polished Pink- 4 1/4 x 7 3/4"- score at 5 1/2" & fold for card base
- Polished Pink- 2 3/4 x 7 1/2"- score at 2 3/4"- fold in half. Now use scissors & fringe the folded edge- cutting ALMOST to the scored line.
- Parakeet Party- 4 x 5 1/4"- stamp candy around all outside edges & adhere to inside of card base
- Parakeet Party- 1/8 x 2 3/4"- add this strip along fold/fringe
- Parakeet Party- 2 1/2 x 2 1/2"- for outside of card
- Parakeet Party- 2 1/2 x 2 1/2"- for inside of card
- Parakeet party- 1 1/2" strip- punch out scalloped oval
- Basic White- 2 1/4 x 2 1/4"- stamp pinata & color with Stampin' Blends
- Basic White- 2 1/4 x 2 1/4"- for inside of card
- Basic White- 1 1/4" strip- stamp words onto & punch out oval
designer paper: Flowers & More DSP- 2 x 4" stripes
ink: Parakeet Party & Memento
Stampin' Blends: Dark Parakeet Party; Dark Polished Pink; Dark Daffodil Delight; Dark Starry Sky; Light Smoky Slate
