Oh.......check out this adorable gnome!
He is from the 'Friendly Gnomes' stamp set.
He just makes me smile!
This is a fun center gate fold.
I die cut the letters using the Alphabet A La Mode Dies.
This is what it looks like when standing up!
Notice how I cut the bottom part of the gnome off &
attached him to the top of the heart!
I just love the way this turned out!
It is a totally Susie card.
As you all know that I love hearts & plaids!
Here are the supplies & measurements.
stamp set: 'Friendly Gnomes'
card stock:
- Sweet Sorbet- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 2 3/4" & 8 1/4"- fold for card base
- Thick Basic White- 2 1/4 x 5 1/4"
- Basic White- 2" strip- add adhesive sheets to this & die cut letters
- Basic White- 2 1/2" strip- punch out scalloped edge heart
- Basic White- 2" strip- stamp gnome onto, color & die cut out. I then fussy cut off with scissors the bottom part of the gnome so he looks like he is hanging over the heart.
- Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card
designer paper:
- Country Floral Lane DSP- 2 x 5" (hearts)
- Country Floral Lane DSP- 2" strip- punch out heart (stripes)
- Country Gingham- 2 1/2 x 4"(x2- plaid)
