'So Very Much'

This is another one of the cards I made as a shoe box swap for my team meeting that was last weekend.

It is clean, simple & cute!

I love these 2 colors together & I love this Carried Away DSP'!

We had a great day stamping at my class yesterday!!  I enjoyed getting to visit & stamp with everyone!  I appreciate all of those that helped set up & clean up- Deb, Dena, Jenny, Janine & Lana.

Last night we went to Nathan & Sarah's to watch the Super Bowl with them & the boys!

This morning Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.

I will be spending my day working on bookwork!   Tonight I'll be placing orders & working on stamping stuff!  I have 4 classes this week, so I have lots of card stock to get cut.

Another 'Moon Baby'!

This is another card I made for my team meeting that I had last weekend.
It is similar to one that I posted a couple of weeks ago.....same colors......I just changed it some!

I literally spend my whole day/night stamping yesterday- creating & cutting for today's stamp class.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone & spending our time stamping today!  Lana is our hostess this month!  I'm off to finish getting everything ready & head out soon!

 

Tonight when I get home we'll be watching the Super Bowl!

Paper Pieceing with 'Beatufiul You'!!

Oh gosh.....this stamp set is so fun!  Check out the paper piecing I did here using designer paper, on her dress. 

I stamped the lady/image onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.  I also stamped the exact same lady/image onto a piece of designer paper & fussy cut it out using scissors. I then glued the cut out dress onto the Whisper White stamped image.

It is soooo easy to do!  And it is just amazing how cool is looks.

Yesterday Trey & I ran errands & then hung out at home.  He loves to play games & we had lots of them out.....his favorites are Hungry Hippo, Polar Bear Express & Bongo Kongo.  

Last night I burnt the midnight oil stamping!!  

I'm up early this morning & am a stamping away!  I have my monthly class in N. Liberty tomorrow.  Lana is our hostess for this morning.  And we have a great group joining us!  I can't wait to spend my time stamping & sharing with them!

'Moon Baby'

Yesterday I spent my day with the boys.  We ran a few errands in the morning.  Last night Susie's Hair Hut was open & I got 2 hair cuts done!

I burnt the midnight oil working on stamping stuff!!  

This morning I'm of to go pick up the boys & take the twins to pre-school.  I'll spend my day with Trey.  Tonight Susie's Hair Hut is open for business & I'll be cutting more boys hair.

'Lift Me Up'!

It is clean & simple!  Oh what a fun card this is with a hot air balloon & clouds!

Yesterday was a busy day with the boys.  When they left I worked late on the farm with Deke helping him with the piggies.  

This morning Deke is up early to chore & head to Des Moines for an all day meeting.  I'm off to go pick up my boys for the day.  Tonight when they go home I'll be a burning the midnight oil stamping!!!

'Happy Celebration'

This is a great guy card!!  I used the new set 'Happy Celebration', along with the coordinating embossing folder called- Celebrations Duo.  This neat embossing folder, actually debosses the image.  So instead of the image being raised, it is indented.

Yesterday was a busy day with the boys!  Last night I was a farmer again, as Steve & I helped Deke sort hogs outside.  

Deke is off this morning to chore & head to the courthouse for the morning.  I'm off to pick up the boys.  I'll take the twins to school & spend my day with Trey & Masen.  Tonight when the boys go home I'll be a farmer again, helping Deke mark, sort & load hogs!

WOW- 'Dragonfly Dreams'!

OH my gosh....I just LOVE how this card turned out!!  It is a clean & simple layout, but oh so elegant!  

Wow- the more I play with this 'Dragonfly Dreams' stamp set the more I am in love with it!  This is a card that I created a couple of weeks ago for a workshop & then everyone at my team meeting made it last weekend too!

It is just stunning & sparkles in person!

Here are the measurements I used when I created this card:

• Daffodil Delight- 4 1/4 x 11; 3 x 3 3/4 
• Bermuda Bay- 5 1/2 x 2; 3 1/4 x 4
•  Shimmery White- 2 3/4 x 3 1/2

Here is a close up photo of it all colored!  OH my gosh......Check out how is glimmers!

These are all beautiful & they are all a little different too!  It depends on how heavy you put on the watercolor pencils & how much water you add &  blend with the aqua painters......as that is what determines your end results!

How did I do that?

1.  Stamp Dragonfly using Archival Basic Black ink onto Shimmery White CS.

2.  Add little circles onto the wings, using different colors of the Watercolor Pencils.  

Here I used the colors- Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay & Daffodil Delight.

3.  Using the Aqua Painter filled with water, I went in circular motions & blended the dots on the wings, making sure there were no bare spots.

4.  I then added the Clear Wink of Stella over all of it, so that the wings are completely covered & have the glimmer!

Swan Lake

This is a stamp set that I got as a prize patrol when I was at On Stage on November.  I honestly don't think it would have been a set that I would have chosen for my first order.....but it is cute!  And I had fun playing with it here.

This is one of the shoe box swaps that I created for everyone joining me for my Iowa Inker's Team Meeting on Saturday!  They all made it!  We all had a great day of stamping together!  I'll share some of my other shoe box swaps throughout this week, so be sure to stop back by.

If you look closely at the water & the dragonflies, I actually picked up the Marina Mist ink (from squishing my ink pad lid) with the Clear Wink of Stella Pen.  It made it lighter & really sparkly!  It is stunning in person!

Our day starts in the dark & super early this morning.  We'll head out at 4:00 a.m., mark, sort & then load a semi of hogs.  Deke will chore & then head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  I'll come in & shower & head in to pick up all of my boys.  I'll get the twins to pre-school & spend the rest of my day with Trey & Masen.  Tonight when the boys go home I'll be headed back out to be a farmer again, helping Deke move pigs.
