Happy New Baby!

I've had a couple of friends have grand-daughters lately.  This is the card that I made for them.  I LOVE coloring with the Blendablities.  Here I used the new Pink Pirouette assorted set.....cute huh!
Check out the little embossed dots here on the background.  I sponged Pink Pirouette Classic Ink over the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Paper out of the Sale-a-bration Mini Catalog.  With a $50 order from now through March 31st- you can get this Irresistibly Your DSP as one of your free products.

stamp set: 'One Tag Fits All'
card stock:  Whisper White, Pink Pirouette
designer paper:  Irresistibly Yours (SAB)
ink:  Pin Pirouette & Black Memento
blenablities markers:  Daffodil Delight & Pink Pirouette
other:  Subtles Candy Dots (Pink Pirouette), White Organdy Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, sponge

NOTES:
*I hand cut out the shapes of these tags.  This tag stamp set does coordinate with the Note Tag Punch- which is the size right between these to 2 images above.

*I stamped this tag onto Pink Pirouette Card Stock, using a Pink Pirouette Classic Ink Pad & then colored every other stripe on this tag with darkest shade in the Pink Pirouette Blendablities Assortment.

Yesterday I got alot done- not as much as I had hoped to or need too get done though.  I did get Steven's hair cut.  And then Nathan, Sarah & Brayden stopped to visit a few minutes last night.  I spent my day/night a stamping away.

This morning I am off to pick up the boys to spend my day with them.  Deke was up bright & early to chore & is headed to the office for a board meeting.  Brayden will be here after school to get to play with the other boys tonight.  When everyone leaves I'll be burning the midnight oil stamping.

I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!
Happy Stamping!

Deke & I had a nice visit & supper with my friend Donna & her husband John last night.  We got groceries & home at a decent time to watch a movie & go to bed early for a change.

I actually have the day off today!  I plan to be home all day.  Susie's Hair Hut is open to get Steve's hair cut.  And then I have LOTS of stamping that I need to get done.  I got several things checked off of my list to do yesterday- but still have tons more to get done today before I can go to bed tonight.

I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!

It is the 'Best Day Ever'!

Here is one of the cards I created for my February monthly card classes.  This color combination is one of my favorites.  It just reminds me of Spring & my Grandma Cox, whom I think of often & miss greatly.

Check out some of the products used here that are from the Occasions Catalog & the Sale-a-bration Catalog.
Don't you love the white leaves on the top of this card.....it is the embossed resist technique using the Sale-a-bration Irresistibily Yours Specialty Designer Paper.  Isn't it pretty!!  And oh so easy!!  Just rub ink over this embossed white specialty designer paper with a stampin' sponge & an ink pad.  You can then make it any color you want!

We had a great time with family yesterday!!  We enjoyed seeing our nieces- Stephanie & Michelle, sister-in-law Sheryl & great niece Katie.  We visited them yesterday morning & got to enjoy the kids all playing together.  It was so cute watching them play hide & seek.

We then took our kids out for lunch for Valentines Day at the Mexican Place in Sigourney.  Then we went back up to Deke's parents for the rest of the afternoon/evening & enjoyed our time together with family there.  We got to celebrate Katie's 3rd birthday with her last night before they all head back to Philadelphia/New Jersey this morning.  We are so glad they came to Iowa to visit all of us!!!  Katie told Uncle Deke that he needs to get horses before she comes to visit again. LOL- I doubt that happens, as he is not a horse lover, but it sure was cute listening to her tell him all about it.

This morning I'm headed out early.  I have a stamp class this morning & then another one this afternoon.  I can't wait to see everyone & spend my day sharing & stamping!

I hope you have a SUPER Sunday!!
Happy Stamping!

Woo hoo!  Wishing you all lots of love on this special day dedicated to LOVE!  "Happy Valentines Day" to each of you!!  Today is my last day of sharing heart cards with you.  In the coming days I'll share the remaining 5 cards that everyone joining me for my monthly classes made, as so far I've only shared one of them.

What a busy day yesterday was!  I was beat last night & finally called it quits shortly after midnight....I just couldn't stay awake any longer.  I have to finish picking up & putting away tables/chairs & things from last night class in the family room yet this morning before I go get the  boys.  I'll work on getting things in the dining room/living room put away tonight after the boys leave.

Today is the end of the week for one job & the start for another job.  I have a busy weekend of stamping ahead!

Lots of love!

Here are a lot of Valentines that I made.  Wish I had time to make more.  I love the Stacked with Love Designer Paper Stack & the Sweetheart Punch.  You can't get much simpler- yet still very elegant at the same time.  None of these cards above are the same.  I cut the 3 base layers the same & then played from there with scraps & punches.  It is kinda fun to do that to see what different layouts you come up with.
This is one of my favorite ones.  I love the XO's print.  And I love the script word "love" from the 'Hello Life' stamp set too.  This is just clean & simple!  And I honestly can't even remember who the lucky person is that I sent it to.  My mail lady is going to be surprised when she picks up our mail today as I have a whole mailbox full of cards in it for her to take for me.

Woo Hoo- tonight is my monthly Stampin' Night here at our home.  I have a big group that have rspv'd to join me.  I'm looking forward to seeing everyone & stamping.  Last month we had snow & terrible weather so only a hand full of the ladies got to come stamp with me.  Tonight it is suppose to be rather cold- but thankfully there isn't any snow in the forecast.

I'm off to pick up the boys here soon.  Deke & I were both up super early this morning.  I was scrubbing my floors & cleaning & Deke was choring, as he has to head out really early today for meetings he has in Des Moines all day.  Hopefully he'll get home in time to do the nighttime chores & then he has another meeting tonight to attend too.

Last night I got all of the above Valentines cards made.  Plus I burnt the midnight oil folding & cutting card stock for tonight's class.  I'll get tables/chairs & supplies all set up when the boys leave & finish getting ready for a fun girls night out stampin' party!   I'm especially excited as my sister-in-law Sheryl just got back to Iowa last night from their home in New Jersey & I haven't seen her for several months.  She is joining us tonight for my stampin' class!

I hope you have a very special Thursday!!
Happy Stamping!
