She is an angel!

Good morning!

Here is a pretty angel that I cased from Pinterest.

I think that possibly Cindee Wilkensen might have been one of the creators for 

the bow angels.

Isn't she cute?

She only takes a few minutes to make. 

Here's what you need:

Gift Bow Bigz Die
1 1/4" Circle Punch
1 3/8" Circle Punch
1 3/4" Circle Punch
Word Window Punch
Brushed Gold Cardstock-arms and body (Gift bow Die)
Pink Pirouette Cardstock-face and arms
Champagne Glimmer Paper-halo
Vanilla Cardstock, 7/8" x 4 3/4" (banner)
Sassy Salutations Stamp Set
Cherry Cobbler Ink
Multipurpose Glue

 I die cut two bow tails and two of the small bows in Brushed Gold. Adhere the two small bow tails together so it forms her body. Use your bone folder to curl the arms and glue the tabs together. I first punched a 1 1/4" Circle from the Glimmer paper, then punched the 1 3/4" Circle over that, keeping the 1 3/4" punch down and center, so there was a little gap between the halo and the face. Glue that to the body. Punch a hole in the top and add your gold cording.  I added the face to the halo with glue and then glued that to the body.  Punch one Window Word and cut in half. Those are her hands and you can see my photo for placement.   

NOTE:  

If you want the words on your angel- be sure to stamp that first before you put her all together.

Kurt will be here with them about 8:30.

The boys are excited!

We will be spending our morning outside on the farm with Papa.

Tonight Nathan & Deke are going to the Iowa BB game.

So.....I'll be home alone.

I love 2 step stampin'!

 Good morning!
Here is a pretty card that I helped my downline Cindy create for our last downline meeting!

I LOVE this stamp set!

And I'm not a huge pink lover- but I love these two colors of pink together.

And man do I love banners or flags (whichever you call them).

I seem to use them often when I'm creating.

I'm not sure what I use to do before without them!

This stamp set is awesome for doing the 2 step stamping!

I only used ONE color of ink to create both of these colors on this flower.....

I just stamped off on my grid paper for the bigger image before stamping in onto my card stock & then reinked my stamp with the smaller image & stamped it full strength!

My Christmas card kits are all cut!

Now to get Birthday cards all done today so I can work on calendars for next weeks classes.

Yesterday afternoon I got some stamps delivered, got groceries, 
went to the cemetery to put a wreath & flowers on my dads stone 
& back home to get pumpkins & fall things out of our yard.

I also got my wreaths up by our outside doors & put new red bows on them.

I'd like to get my garland & lights around our porch & my tree up today too.

We'll see how much I can get done.

I had hoped to have them all done before I went to bed last night- but I was too tired.

So I'm headed back to my Stampin' Studio now with my coffee in hand to work on Christmas card kits.

AND hopefully I will be able to work on belated Birthday cards today too.

A 'Christmas Collectibles' card......

Good morning!

This is another one of the cards that everyone made at my November classes.

WOW- I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday.

We had a nice time with my side of the family at my sister Julie's home.

All of my moms grandkids & great-grandkids were there- which doesn't happen each year.

Our pot-luck lunch was yummy with a traditional Thanksgiving menu.

We all left STUFFED!

Breakfast Squares

If you are wanting a quick & yummy breakfast casserole for the holidays, 

here is the one I use.  

I made it last Sunday for our Wood Family Brunch & everyone loved it!  

ENJOY!!

Breakfast Squares
1 (24oz) pkg. frozen hash browns-(I like OreIda the best!!)
1# browned sausage
6 oz. shredded Cheddar Cheese
6 oz. shredded Mozzarella Cheese
3 (beaten) eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 medium onion (finely chopped)

Put Potatoes in bottom of greased 9x13" pan. Sprinkle on sausage & cheeses. Beat eggs & milk, salt & onion & pour over the meat and potatoes. Cover with foil & refrigerate for at least 3 hours or over night. Leave covered with the foil & bake at 350* for 1 hour. Let stand approx. 10 minutes before serving, cut into squares.

We have to load hogs this morning & tonight....so Aunt Kathy is keeping the twins for me for a couple of hours this morning.

Then I'll be a farmer again tonight & be out to sort & load another group of hogs & move pigs.
