Daffodil Daydream

These Daffodils are so pretty.
I used the 'Daffodil Daydream' stamp set.

Check it out.......
This is a fun fold card called a side-step easel card.
You can see other cards I have made with this layout by clicking below.
This is what it looks like standing up.
 Here it is opened up.
I made a bunch of these daffodil cards.

How did I do it?

Grassy Grove

Check out this pretty card.
I love the way it turned out.
It is a great guy card that could be used for many different occasions.

This scene is what it looks like when I look out the window on our farm.
I just love seeing nature's beauty!
I made this into a fun z fold card.
This is what it looks like when standing up!
Do you notice the embossed trees along the left edge of the card?
You don't see it as much as I thought you would- but it is still
some added texture that adds to the card.
I used the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder for this.

There is a little omitting of the ink on the sky & grass?
I did this on purpose.......
That is because I wanted this to have a water color look to it.

NOTE:  With these solid image photopolymer stamps you WILL want
to have a piercing mat underneath your paper when you stamp the image,
so that you get a good stamped image.

How did I do it?
1.  Ink stamp in the Balmy Blue Ink.
2. Lightly spray water onto the stamp &
press it down onto the Watercolor Paper.
3.  Ink the middle section stamp into the Pear Pizzazz Ink.
4.  Lightly spray water onto the stamp
& press it down onto the Watercolor Paper.
5.  Ink the ground/grass & trees in Old Olive Ink & stamp them.
*I DID NOT spray water onto these when stamping them.
6.  Stamp the deer onto Very Vanilla card stock,
using Soft Suede Ink & then die cut it out.

Here are the supplies & measurements.
stamp sets:  'Ocean Front' (sky, meadow & hill), 'Grassy Grove'(deer, tall grass, trees), 'Let's Set Sail' (birds) & 'Expressions of Friendship' (hostess set for the words)

  • Balmy Blue-3 1/4 x 4 1/4"

Simple Saturday Stepped Up!

Check out this pretty card using the Flowering Tulips stamp set
& the coordinating Flowering Fields DSP.

This Flowering Fields DSP is just gorgeous!

Check out these 3 cards.
I stepped them up!
#1. Simple
#2. Casual
#3. Dressed Up
They are all the same basic layouts with a little 'more'
added to each one of these cards.
HOW DID I DO IT?
Check out how I flag the end of the strip with the words on it.
  • 1 x 4" piece of Basic White card card.
  • Stamp words onto this strip.
  • Using the Tailored Tag Punch- flag the right end of the strip with words on it.
This is how you slide the strip of card stock into the bottom of
the Tailored Tag Punch to make it flagged.
Here is the simple card.
This card is a casual one- with added layers on it.
AND
This one is more dressed up with layers, shadow stamping on the
Poppy Parade card base & ribbon added.

I could have done even more with embossing, die cutting or
making this into a fun fold to make it an avid card.

Here are the supplies & measurements.

card stock:
  • Poppy Parade- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base

Ocean of Waves Collection

 THIS OR THAT???
THIS- die cut wave card
OR
THAT- stamped wave card

Which one of these wave cards do you like better?
I think that they are both very pretty.
But they are totally different aren't they!

Leave me a comment below as to which you like best.

You can CLICK HERE to see the Ocean of Waves Collection!!

The Ocean of Waves Collection

This is a cool collection!!
Check out this new Ocean of Waves Collection.

This is clean & simple.

How did I do it?
  •  Started with a Basic White piece of 3 3/4 x 5" card stock.
  • Added the Wave stamp to my Stamparatus.
  • Inked the Wave stamp in Pacific Point Ink.
  • Then using a sponge dauber I added ink by tapping it directly onto the stamp using Coastal Cabana & Night of Navy ink pads.
  • I used a Blending Brush & Pacific Point ink pad to add color to the sky.
  • Then stamped the words directly onto the card front using Night of Navy ink.
  • The birds are die cut & adhered to the card front.
I used a piece of 4 x 5 1/4" Night of Navy Foil for my layer.
Notice how I cut out the center of this & can use it for another project.
I layered the Night of Navy Foil rectangle onto a piece of
Basic White card stock measuring 4 x 5/14".
This is a diagonal easel fun fold.
Here is the pattern on making the diagonal easel fun fold.
4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2".
Then diagonal score from corner to bottom of center fold score.
I stamped the words onto a strip of Basic White card stock, die cut it out
& added a 1/4 x 3 1/4" strip of Pacific Point card stock through the loops.
It looks like this when opened up.
This is a view of the card looking down onto it.
So what do you think?
It is pretty cool huh!

Here are the supplies & measurements.
stamp set:  'Waves of Inspiration'
card stock:
  • Pacific Point- 4 1/4 x 11"- score at 5 1/2" & then diagonal score as shown in the pattern above.
  • Blue Foils- (Night of Navy)- 4 x 5 1/4"
  • Basic Black- 1" strip- die cut birds
  • Basic White- 1" strip- die cut clouds
  • Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- layer behind the Night of Navy Foil
  • Basic White- 3 3/4 x 5"- stamp wave onto
  • Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card
  • Basic White- 1" strip- stamp words & die cut- for inside of card
  • Pacific Point- 1/4 x 3 1/4"- for inside of card
inks:  Coastal Cabana, Pacific Point & Night of Navy
other:  Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine; Stamparatus; Sponge Daubers; Blending Brush; dimensionals; glue dots; Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels

I hope you have a great Thursday!

Waves of the Ocean Collection

WOW- check out this amazing Waves of the Ocean Collection!!
The Waves of the Ocean DSP is so bright, cheery & has endless possibilities!
Isn't it cool!
This is a fun panel spanner fun fold card.
It looks like this when you start opening it up!

NOTE:  I cut 2 Night of Navy strips that measure 7/8" x 5 1/2" each.
One of them gets adhered to the 2 outside panels along the bottom
front, having it approximately a 1/8" from the bottom of the card-
so that it matched up evenly with the Basic White CS on the inside of the card.
Then the other Night of Navy strip gets adhered to the back side of the front strip.
This just makes the spanner strip more solid & sturdy.
This is the inside!!
I stamped the words on a strip of Basic White card stock
& die cut it.
I put a 3/4 x 5 1/2" strip of Night of Navy card stock in the loops.
And adhered this all to the inside of the card.
And here is what it looks like standing up!
I love it!

You can CLICK BELOW on the links, to see some other panel spanner cards
I have already posted on my blog.

https://stampwithsusie.blogspot.com/2021/10/cutest-halloween-suite-3-weeks-to.html

How did I make the wave?
If you look closely, you can see that I stamped the wave onto the DSP,
using my Night of Navy ink pad & my Stamparatus!
I then used my scissors & cut out along the top & bottom edges of the stamped wave.
I die cut 2 waves from the DSP, using the 2 Wave Dies.
NOTE:  I added Adhesive Sheets onto the strip I used to die cut the waves.
I adhered the 2 die cut waves directly over the solid stamped wave!!
And this is then adhered to the bottom bar that goes across the card front
for the split spanner.

NOTE:  The little birds are stamped directly onto the DSP in Memento Ink.
