Simple Saturday Stepped Up!

Check out this pretty card using the Flowering Tulips stamp set
& the coordinating Flowering Fields DSP.

This Flowering Fields DSP is just gorgeous!

Check out these 3 cards.
I stepped them up!
#1. Simple
#2. Casual
#3. Dressed Up
They are all the same basic layouts with a little 'more'
added to each one of these cards.
HOW DID I DO IT?
Check out how I flag the end of the strip with the words on it.
  • 1 x 4" piece of Basic White card card.
  • Stamp words onto this strip.
  • Using the Tailored Tag Punch- flag the right end of the strip with words on it.
This is how you slide the strip of card stock into the bottom of
the Tailored Tag Punch to make it flagged.
Here is the simple card.
This card is a casual one- with added layers on it.
AND
This one is more dressed up with layers, shadow stamping on the
Poppy Parade card base & ribbon added.

I could have done even more with embossing, die cutting or
making this into a fun fold to make it an avid card.

Here are the supplies & measurements.
stamp set:  'Flowering Tulips' stamp set
card stock:
  • Poppy Parade- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base
  • Old Olive- 2 1/4 x 5 1/4"
  • Old Olive- 1 1/4 x 4"
  • Basic White- 1 x 4"- stamp words onto
  • Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card
designer paper:  Flowering Fields DSP- 2 x 5"
inks:  Poppy Parade & Old Olive

I hope you have a SPECIAL Saturday!!!
