Symbols of Fourtune DSP

Look how I die cut a circle out of this DSP to make it the focal point of my card!
WOW HUH!
 
This is the Symbols of Fortune DSP.
Check it out on page 23 in the January-June Spring Mini Catalog.
I used the palm looking leaf from Tropical Layers Dies-
as both the cut out leaf & the embossed leaves too.
 
How did I emboss with a die?
Here is the sandwich I used with my Big Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine-
1.  Standard platform
2.  Clear Plate
3.   Yes-  TWO Silicone Craft Mats 
4.  card stock
5. palm leaf die downward on top of the card stock.
6.  clear plate
NOTE:  That all die cutting machine aren't the same, 
so you might 'play' with the sandwich you need to emboss your card stock.
Here are the supplies & measurements.
stamp set:  'Wildflower Path' (words)
card stock:
  • Soft Succulent- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4"- fold in half for card base
  • Evening Evergreen- 2 1/4 x 5 1/4"
  • Evening Evergreen- 4" strip- die cut Hippo & Friends die
  • Evening Evergreen-2 3/4" strip- die cut circle
  • Evening Evergreen- 4" strip- die cut palm leaf
  • Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card
designer paper:  
  • Symbols of Fortune DSP- die cut crane with 2 1/4" die
  • Pansy Petals- 2 x 5"
ink:  Evening Evergreen
other:  Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine; Tropical Layers Dies; Hippo & Friends Dies; Layering Circle Dies; Silicone Craft Sheets (2); Wink of Stella; Polished Dots; Soft Succulent Ribbon; dimensionals; glue dots
