Thinking of you.....

Good morning.....
Deke's Aunt Pat was hospitalized 1 1/2 weeks ago.  (She hadn't been sick before that.)
She has ovarian cancer that has spread to her liver.  Her kidneys & body are shutting down.  They put her in hospice yesterday.  So we went to visit her last night.  Today is her 59th birthday. (She is so young.)   It is just so sad.....I grew up next to Deke's grandma & Aunt Pat.  We moved next to them when I was in 1st grade.  I have many fond memories of playing at their home when I was young, plus all of the memories since I've become part of the family too so many years ago.
Please keep Pat & her family in your prayers.

This is a card that I am doing at my 40 card class.
It is a simple but elegant card that could be used for many different occasions.

It was just 3 weeks ago that Brody had his surgery.
He is now bandage free!
His incision is healing well.
His hair is starting to grow back.
He acts totally normal.
We count our blessings each day!

I still have lots of card stock to get cut!
But I'm sure looking forward to stamping with everyone that is joining me on Saturday for my 'All Occasions' Card Class though.

Tonight I'm a farmer.  We sell a semi load of hogs.

I have lots of cutting to get done for Saturdays 'All Occasions' card class, so hoping the boys take a good nap today.  I will have my fingers crossed!

Brody's appointment yesterday was very good!

 He will have a follow up appointment next month with Dr. Menezes & have a MRI.
God has sure blessed us!
He still needs to wear his covering on it for another week.
His incision is healing nicely, but is itching & they don't want him to break it open by scratching it.

Today all 3 boys will be spending the day with Grandma!

And tonight I'll still be cutting card stock!

And cooking.....we are having a yummy lunch tomorrow too!

Can't wait to spend the day with so many that will be joining me!

Sunday I have a workshop at Erin's in NE.
And Sunday night I'm literally going to crash.
Not sure how I'll ever get caught up on sleep that I haven't had for the past almost 4 weeks.

Wow- a busy week..... We had a late night on the farm selling hogs last night.
Then I worked on sorting stamp orders that arrived yesterday.
Gosh- when Sale-a-bration is over with the twins & I are miss seeing my UPS man every day.
The boys love seeing Chase (my UPS man).  
He is our nephews best friend & a racing buddy of Nathan's that we've known for years!
He always visits a minute with the twins & once in awhile he gets to grab a warm cookie to take with him, as he usually gets here just as the boys are getting up from their nap. 
They are always excited when they hear his big brown truck pulling into our driveway.

Ok....gotta run as Manda has an early meeting today & I still have lots I need to get done before the twins get here.

Good morning!!

Ughh.....I'm not a fan of the time change. 

Yes- I'm a morning person & get up around 5:30 am each day.....but 4:30- not so much fun.

I'm off to Hiawatha today for Kay & Norma's party!

They have several friends joining us & I can't wait to share.
