A cute Daisy tag!

These are the name tags that I made for everyone's bags for my Spring Fling.   The New Daisy Punch- that is available on June 1st for customers to order- worked just perfect!  The Daisy's are bright, cheery & Spring like!
I used the Brights Designer Paper Stack.  The colors of the 3 different flowers are- Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango & Rich Razzleberry.
I used the Scalloped Tag Topper for the tag base, punched out 2 of the Daisy Flowers & layered them together- adding a 1/2" Daffodil Delight Circle Punch to the center of it.  I wrote everyone's names on their tags using the Cucumber Crush marker & tied the tags onto the bags using the Cucumber Crush ribbon.

Oh my- the flu bug has hit our family.  Sarah was sick on Monday, Nathan was sick yesterday & I got sick last night.  It is a monster bug- that is forsure....I am hoping it it short lived.  I haven't had the flu this bad in years.  So I'm home alone today & praying I am better soon.  And I pray that no one else gets it either.

Deke left early this morning to chore, headed to the office for a couple of hours & then he has a meeting in Mount Pleasant this afternoon.

Tonight we are all suppose to go racing in Osky.....but it is now raining.....so we'll see what the day brings.

THANKFULLY our corn fields were all planted yesterday!!  So that is one less thing to worry about getting done & it was perfect timing with the rain we are getting today.

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!
Happy Stamping!

This morning I'm a busy stamper!  We will run to town after bit for Brody & Drake's last soccer game.  And then I'll be creating & cutting card stock the rest of the day/night!

This morning I'm off early to go get the boys.  Manda has an early meeting.  I'll take Brayden, Brody & Drake to school & then head back out to our house & spend my day with Trey & Masen.

Here is another New Annual Catalog sneak peek!

Check out this cute card!!  It is another sneak peek of a stamp set called- 'Pocketful of Sunshine', that will be in the New Annual Catalog beginning June 1st!

I made this card for my team members that joined me a couple of weeks ago for the On Stage Recap event that I did for them.

This stamp set is one that my downline Lorraine got as a Prize Patrol give away when we were at On Stage together last month.  She let me borrow her stamp set (since none of us can buy it yet) so that I could use it for our team meeting.  Bless her!

NOTE:  This stamp set will be available in the New Annual Catalog beginning June 1st.  This stamp set also has coordinating framelits called- Pocket Framelits- that go with it.

I really like the way this turned out!

I used the Sunburst Thinlits that are RETIRING too for the background here.

stamp set:  'Pocketful of Sunshine'
card stock:  Thick Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Dapper Denim, Real Red
ink:  Archival Basic Black
other:  Big Shot, Sunburst Thinlits- RETIRING, Paper Snips, Dimensionals, Metallic Enamel Shapes

Since I don't have the new coordinating framelits yet- I fussy cut the sunglasses, tag & pocket with my Paper Snips.

Yesterday was a busy day!  I took the twins to school & then Deke, me, Trey & Masen went to Rita's funeral.  It was early afternoon when we got home & I had to get lunch & finally got the boys down for a late nap.  We all went to the races last night.  Nathan got 2nd in his heat & only lost by a bummer.  He started 4th in the main & WON!  I'm glad we were all there to cheer him on.

They had kids night at the races too last night- so here is a picture of the boys riding around the track in the race car with Nathan!  Too cute!

Drake, Steve, Trey & Brody are in the back.  Masen is sitting on Nathan's lap!  Look at their smiles!

This morning we are up early & on the go!  Deke is choring & I'm headed in to pick up the boys!!  We get baby piggies in again today- so we'll have a bunch of little farmers helping us!

I hope you have a very special Thursday!

A Pokemon ball!

Check out Brayden's birthday card I made for him.  The twins loved it- so since it met their approval I was pleased!  It is a Pokemon ball!  I think it turned out super cute!

All of our boys are Pokemon lovers!  When they talk about all of them- it is like a different language to me, as I have no clue which one is what name.  But I enjoy listening to them talk about it & I am amazed that they know all of their names, as there is ALOT of them.  The boys are all in to collecting Pokemon cards too.
stamp set:  'Party with Cake'
card stock:  Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White
ink:  Archival Basic Blackother:  Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Layering Circles Framelits,  Standard Platform, Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder

Last night Deke & I went to Rita's visitation.  When we got home we had a late supper & Susie's Hair Hut was open for business......as Deke needed a hair cut really bad!  Now I need to find time to the all of the others hair cuts done sometime too!

I'm off this morning to go pick up the boys.  I'll take the twins to pre-school & spend my day with the 2 little ones.  Deke, me, Trey & Masen will be going to Rita's funeral this morning.

Tonight the twins have soccer practice after school.  When they are done with that we'll all head to the races.  Nathan has raced several nights already this racing season & I haven't been able to go to one of them, as I've had to work.  So I hope he has a good night tonight.  We'll all be there to cheer him on.  And I'm glad that I am able to go this time!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!

Yesterday was a busy day with all of the boys!  It is too bad that the weather was so darn crappy & we were inside all day! They did get along pretty good all day together though!  I tried to keep them busy!!  I enjoy & treasure our time all spent together, as it doesn't happen as much as it use to since the boys are all getting older.

We all went to Nathan & Sarah's house last night to celebrate Brayden's birthday & had a fun time!  We had tacos & Sarah made a yummy cake!  The boys played in the basement & we had a fun time down there together watching them.

I can't believe that Brayden is 9 years old already!  I so remember the night he was born.  Where does the time go?  He is such a sweet young man.  He is so mature & helpful!  And he is super smart!  He is just a true joy!

This morning Deke is off early to chore & I'm off to go pick up all of the boys!  We have a busy day ahead of us!  We get baby piggies in this morning & all 4 littler boys (Brody, Drake, Trey & Masen) will be here to help us!  We have lots of little farmers today!!  I know the boys are excited!

Tonight we are going to a visitation of a special family friend that passed away- Rita Christner.  She was a neighbor of mine growing up & we use to spend alot of time together with their family.  She was a very special lady!

When we get home from funeral home tonight I'll be stamping fool!!  I have my May monthly class coming up this weekend & I will be starting to create the cards for it.  We have a crazy busy week this week with pigs, soccer games, races & stamping!

I am bummed to say though that this set of framelits & this designer paper  are items that are retiring & it is already sold out!   But it does make a pretty card!!  And I know several of my customer have these.  So this card will give them another idea for them to use these products when they are creating with them.
I folded back the front flap & used the stem framelit.  This is what it looks like when it is standing up.

This card takes alot of Big Shot cutting, but it is really pretty!!!

Yesterday was a long day.  I was up early to finish things up & go finish setting up for my Annual Spring Fling stamp camp.  I was ready for everyone when they all walked in the door!!  Woo Hoo- I had a great group of friends that joined me for a fun day of stamping.  It was nasty outside (raining & chilly), so it was the perfect day for us to be inside stamping together!!  Yummy food, good company & stamping= what could be better?  I made several projects using NEW Annual Catalog products- so it was fun to hear everyone chatting & commenting about how cool some of the new products were & what were their favorite ones!  It was about 10 pm last night when I got home- as I had to clean up & pack everything back up to get home.  Deke came over to help put away the tables & chairs & we came home with 2 vehicle loads of things.  We got the vehicles unloaded, washed all of the crock pots & put away the food stuff.....AND the rest of the boxes are sitting in my family room.   I was just beat & had to call it a night.

I'm up bright & early this morning to get all of the baskets of stamping stuff unpacked & put away before I head out to go pick up the boys.

Wow- later last night I found out that I'll be spending my day with all of 5 of my boys today!  And we don't often get to all be together.  The teachers have a PD (personal development day) today, so there is no school for the kids.  And today is Brayden's 9th birthday too- so we'll all have fun together!  I know Brody wants to make May Baskets today too- so we'll see what ideas Grandma can come up with!  Then tonight we are all going to Nathan & Sarah's to celebrate Brayden's birthday with supper & his party!

Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.

Gotta run.....
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!!

'Happy Celebration' & Celebrations Embossing Folder

Ok- here is a fun card that I made last night for my upcoming Spring Fling!  I love the subtle colors of this card.  I think it turned out super cute!

Check out the Mint Macaron Doily.  It is so neat!  It just adds that little extra color & embellishment.
Look at the words closely.  This embossing folder actually "debosses the words"!  It is super cool!

How did I do that?
  1. I debossed the word- celebrate.
  2. I light sponged Sahara Sand ink over the top of the debossed words.
  3. I randomly stamped the 2 different sizes of circles- using Mint Macraon & Sahara Sand ink over the words & the front of the card.
  4. I assembled my card as shown.
I thought this would make a neat card for graduation, birthday, etc.  It could be a male or female card- either one.

stamp set:  'Happy Celebration'- WOO HOO!  This stamp set is carrying over into the New Annual Catalog!
card stock:
  • Mint Macaron- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"; 5 1/2 x 2"- RETIRING
  • Sahara Sand- 4 x 5 1/4"; 5 1/2 x 1 3/4"
  • Whisper White- 4 x 5 1/4" (for outside to stamp dots onto), 5 1/2 x 1 1/2" (for outside to emboss words onto & stamp circles over), 4 x 5 1/4" (for inside to stamp words on)
ink:  Mint Macaron-RETIRING, Sahara Sand
other:  In Color Doily (Mint Macaron)- RETIRING, Mint Macaron 3/8" Sheer Ribbon- RETIRING, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Big Shot, Standard Platform, Celebrations Duo Textured Embossing Folder
