Here is another one of the cards that everyone at Mary & Phyllis's party got to stamp This is a clean & simple card.  But I really like it!

This just might be one of my 40 card class cards!

I think it is very pretty!

 But how can you go wrong with putting Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive together? 

Jenny had an amazing party yesterday!

 I went straight from her party to the hospital.

I visited for awhile & then Drake & I came home at bedtime.

Hoping Brody gets to come home today.....will keep you posted.

Brody's "CHEESY" smile!

He got to put his jammies on today.

(Even though he still have his IV & all of the pads for monitors on his chest.)

He also got to walk holding onto our hand today too!

They are cutting back on his steriods- so hoping that will help his mood some.

He is a strong little boy!

He has been through alot lately.

He is just so darn sweet!

A true blessing!

(Gosh- my dad would have LOVED him....they kinda act alike!)

Thanks for all of the prayers.....keep them coming as he continues his journey healing.

Drake is homesick....feel so bad for him.

He misses his brother.

A vintage birthday card......

HI!

Here is another version of the vintage card I posted the other day......it just isn't sponged so much & I used a different stamp set.

I like giving my stamping guests options when they stamp so that they are creating a card that they can use.

I had a great time yesterday stamping with Jo & her friends!

Then we headed to Iowa City to see Brody.
He is gain every day, but still has a long ways to go.
I got to hold him for about 1 1/2 hours last night.
That made us both happy!!

I'm off soon today to Jenny's stamping party!

A 'Feel Good's scrapbook page

HI!
Wow- what a long week.
We spend the day at the hospital yesterday.
Brody had a rough night on Thursday night, but showed alot of improvement by last evening.
He still has a lot of healing to do.....but looked & acted so much better.
Dr. Menezes doesn't think he is in alot of pain now so is off of the morphine.
He is still on the steroids, antibiotics & tylenol or ibuprophen for the pain.
He isn't sleeping very well & is restless.
But over all he is quite the trooper & very happy.
Drake is home sick & misses his brother, mom & dad.
He stayed with us on Wednesday night & Thursday night.
Last night he stayed with his Papa & G'ma Seeley.
We are all hanging in there & feel truly blessed.
Our journey is not over by any means, but we feel we are headed on the uphill side of it.
Brody is sitting up & can hold his head up for quite awhile.
He did get fitted with a neck collar yesterday afternoon to help support his neck.
Thanks for your prayers & keep sending them as he continues to heal.

I'm looking forward to seeing her friends & stamping with them.
When I get home from her party this afternoon, Deke & I will be headed to Iowa City to the hospital to see Brody, Manda, Steve & Drake.

I realize that everyone doesn't scrapbook, so those gals that didn't got to make the card instead.

What a long day!  

But we are so thankful for everyone's thoughts & prayers!!  

Brody's surgery went well.  

His dr said everything was perfect!!  

We are so thankful for that!  

He has had a long afternoon/evening & in quite alot of pain.  

He is going to have a long haul the next few days.  

But he is very strong willed.  

He has been through so much....just praying the pain lessens & he will feel better soon.  

Deke, Drake & I will be heading out early in the morning to go to the hospital to spend the day.  

I will update later tomorrow on things.

Our precious little guy!

A vintage 'Feeling Sentimental' card.....(appropriate words for this day)....

Good morning!

We are headed out early today.....as Brody has is surgery this morning at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.  It is scheduled for 7:15 a.m.  He is blessed to have an amazing Dr. Menezes to do his surgery.   As we all know the power of prayer- please keep Brody (& the team of doctors doing his surgery) in your prayers for the next several days.

Manda has a blog & will post things on there as time allows so you can check it for updates if you want to.

Drake will be staying with us & his other grandparents while Brody is in the hospital.  We will be making trips daily to go to the hospital.  Drake & Brody are super close & never been separated except the few days Brody was in the hospital for his last surgery on 12/9/11.  At that time they were only 3 months & old.  So things definitely aren't going to be easy for Drake the next week either.  

As you know- this is Sale-a-bration time & I have LOTS of parties on my calendar for March.  I will continue to proceed with them during this time & think I've got things caught up on for the next week anyways with that.  I have TONS yet to do for my parties later in the month, but hoping that Brody will get home next week & I'll be here at night to stamp away & get ready for them!

I love the vintage look of it.

This is a stamp set that I can say I wasn't overly thrilled with when I first saw it.

BUT- OH MY GOSH- as I've had time to play with it I have loved it.

There is just SO MUCH you can do with it.

I'm on my way into their house soon to pick up Drake.
I think that Brayden is planning to come play with Drake today (providing school isn't cancelled).
Deke is on his way out the door to Des Moines for a meeting all day a the Capitol.
I figured his meeting would get rescheduled- guess not.

'Secret Garden' flowers......

Good morning!
 I am in a monthly swap with some other demonstrator friends & the theme this month is flowers- so this just might be my swap for this March!
I just LOVE these colors together.
