'Lovely Inside & Out'!

This is a fun stamp set!!!  And when I first saw it I thought of my friend Tamara, that has a birthday on July 1st.  Every year I send her a birthday card that is some type of fireworks!  So this is the card that I made for her this year! I think it turned out super cute!

I used the little flower (stamen) center from the 'Colorful Seasons' stamp set- for the little sparkly fireworks on this card.  

And then check out the cool Navy& White Gingham ribbon!  It is just so yummy......it folds/ties super easy!  It is wonderful to work with!  It comes in the Smoky Slate & Night of Navy colors.  I wish it came in more colors!

Don't you think this looks like the grand finale of fireworks display!!  It does to me!  And we saw an awesome fireworks display on Monday night (after the races) at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Osky.

I hope you all had a great 4th of July yesterday!!  We had a busy day with our family.....it started out with a short night, as we got home late from the races on Monday night.  We were up early & I went to town to meet Nathan & Brayden- as Brayden did the annual run (and in record time too), while Deke chored!  I came home to get Deke & we went back to town for the Annual Sigourney Parade.  Then we went back home to eat lunch & wash out pens in the finisher & then back to town to watch the 3 older boys in the greased pig contest (which was so cute).  We went back home to chore after it & then last night we all went to the races together again!!   Nathan got 3rd Monday night & 4th last night........there were alot of cars, so he did good!

More 'Daisy Delight'

This is a clean & simple card using the little stemmed daisy stamps from the 'Daisy Delight' stamp set. 

How many times have you heard me say that I love this 'Daisy Delight' stamp set & the coordinating punch & DSP that go with it?  

Here I just used the stamp set though, combing the Birthday Memories DSP with it!

I like it when I can just use circle punches to layer stamped images with.  

Here I just turned my square, so that it is a diamond shape!  And then I added some DSP & ribbon, along with a little banner flag for the words!

I have been on the go with stamp classes all weekend!  It was a busy, but fun weekend of stamping & sharing with many friends!

I had 2 stamp classes yesterday & went right from my last class to Vinton to the races & met all of my family there.  Nathan won his heat & got 3rd in the main.  It was late when we got home! It was fun being with all of our kids & grandkids though.

'Ribbon of Courage'

Here is a clean & simple card to share this Sunday with you!!  It is made using the cool new stamp set- 'Ribbon of Courage'.  Cancer has touched so many lives (& many of my friends) over the years.  What an awesome stamp set this is that represents it.

'A Little Wild'

Check out this adorable little elephant.  It is from the set- 'A Little Wild'!

I just love the way this card turned out!  

This new gingham ribbon is super cute!!  And check out the dotted paper.  What is it?  It is the reverse side of the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate on page 194.  Be sure you look it up in your annual catalog!

I also used the new Starburst Punch that is layered behind the elephant here.

Note:   I adhered the acetate to the Whisper White card stock using Glue Dots.  I pressed the back side of the acetate directly to onto the Glue Dot roll, putting them on, so that they were behind the dots on the acetate.  And you can barely see them.  I put one Glue Dot on all 4 corners.

Oh my....we've had a busy last few days!  Lots going on at our house!!  I'll have more pictures to post of our little ones sometime soon.

Brayden's team lost their game last night.  So tonight we'll be home.  That is good!  I have tons of farm work to catch up on & lots of stamping to do too!

It was a short night & we are up early this morning & headed out to the farm.  We are sell hogs this morning, so I'll be helping Deke with the pigs!  And then later I get my hair cut! This afternoon I'll be helping out at Nathan & Sarah's ,as they will be coming home from the hospital.

We had a busy day yesterday!!!  I worked on the farm & helped Deke all morning.  Then after lunch we went to watch the twins play ball.  They did great job!  It is amazing how much they have improved the past few weeks.  I picked Brayden up after his ball practice last night & enjoyed my evening with him!!! 

Today is another busy day with boys & ball games.  Deke is up early this morning to chore & head to the courthouse for his weekly board meeting.  I'll have Brayden & Masen for the day.  We'll connect with the Seeley family this afternoon for awhile.  And then more ball games tonight.

Yesterday was a fun day of stamping with friends!  Lots of laughs & good times were shared by all! 

Last night we all went to Belva Deer Lake to visit the Seeley family that was camping there.  We ate super with them, played with all of our grandkids & sat around the campfire visiting.  Oh and I can't forget that we made yummy smores!  

Today I have the day off of work.  I'll be spending it stamping, going to the twins ball game & taking Brayden to ball practice tonight.  Plus somehow squeezing in working on the farm, helping Deke sort pigs too.

'A Little Wild'

Oh my gosh.....this is a cute new stamp set!!  It is called- 'A Little Wild'.  And it has coordinating framelits that go with it too!  

I needed a baby card to send to a friend, congratulating her on their new grandson.....so this is the card I created to send to her.

Look at the lions mane.  I added the Wink of Stella to it.

The designer is paper is a wood grain print.  It is from the Coffee Break DSP (12x12) pack.

I also used new 3/8" Satin Stitched ribbon & the new 2 1/4" Circle Punch!

'Daisy Delight'

Look at these flowers!  This is one of the prints in the Delightful Daisy DSP that I stamped the Daisy flower image onto, punched the Daisy flower & then cut it in half & layered it together to make this 1/2 flower look.

Yesterday was a busy day full of boys!!  Baylor was really good & I think he had fun playing with our boys.  

Last night the kids were all here for supper to celebrate Deke's birthday.  After supper- Deke, me, Nathan & Steve went out to mark & sort outside hogs.  Manda & Sarah & the boys played outside- enjoying the beautiful weather!  

The boys sure had a fun evening together playing ball, swinging, riding their gators & catching lightening bugs.  It was priceless when Brody came in & announced we were singing Happy Birthday to Papa & he started the song.  We ended the night with one of Papa's favorites- his birthday cake, which was my homemade chocolate sheet cake

Today is our daughter-in-law Sarah's birthday.  And we are all going racing tonight in Columbus Junction.

Yesterday was a full day!  We went to Nathan & Sarah's for lunch, then to watch the twins play ball& then home to chore.  The Nathan, Sarah, Brayden & Deke went racing.  I kept Masen home with me.  I worked on some stamping, but didn't get near as much done as I had hoped to.

Nathan got 3rd in his heat & 3rd in his main.

This morning I'm up early to walk & work on swaps.  I'm keeping my great nephew (Baylor that is 2 1/2" today too).  He will be here about 6:45 & the other boys will be here about 8.  I am hoping it is nice enough we can play outside. 

Today is Deke's birthday!!  So the kids are coming here to eat supper with us to celebrate.  After supper Deke, me, Nathan & Steve will go out to mark & sort hogs from the outside lots.

I spent my whole day stamping yesterday!!  I got some cute card made.....now to get them all cut, stamped & assembled in the next few nights.  

Nathan, Sarah & Masen stopped by yesterday morning for a bit to leave Deke's Father's Day Gift.  First thing Masen wanted when he walked in the door was a cookie.  He is Grandma's cookie monster & thankfully I made more cookies last night, as he ate the last 2 yesterday afternoon when he got up from his nap.  And then Aunt Kathy stopped by for a few minutes in the afternoon.

Our family went out for supper last night to celebrate Deke & Sarah's birthdays!  Deke & I stopped to get a few groceries & picked up a new grill (as ours is all rusted out & doesn't work well at all) on our way home.  By the time we got home & I got things put away I was beat & ready to call it a night. 

This morning I'm up early to spend my morning cooking.  We are having lunch at Nathan & Sarah's.  Nathan wanted potatoe salad, so I got the potatoes & eggs boiled last night & will finish making it this morning.  I'm also making cheesy potatoes & thawing out brauts to take too.  We'll all be going to the twins ball game this afternoon.  And then the guys are going racing tonight!  I'll be staying home to stamp all night!

Our whole family, plus Uncle Jerry, Aunt Kathy & Sarah's parents- went to Brayden's game last night.  He did great.....he had a big play to get a guy out & then a big hit into the outfield.  The guys left the game a little early, as they headed to Columbus Junction to race.  I came home after Brayden's game & burn the midnight oil stamping!  Nathan got 2nd in his heat & 2nd in the main.

Tonight our whole family is all going out for supper to celebrate Deke & Sarah's birthdays!!

'Colorful Season' beach card

 

This is one of the cards that some of those joining me for my June monthly classes got to make.

This stamp set is an awesome one to showcase many different seasons!

It has cool leaves, flowers & snowflakes in it too!  I can't wait to make fall & winter cards with it!

And check out this coordinating Color Theory DSP (6x6).  And did you notice the cut Glitter Enamel Dot in the center of the sun?  These are all coordinating products in the suite!  They are all just so neat!

Yesterday was a busy day with the pigs & Masen.  Masen & I went to the twins baseball game last night.  They did a great job playing!!  It is just so much fun watching them.  

Masen stayed all night with Grandma, while the rest of our gang went to the races.  We watched Paw Patrol & ate chocolate chip cookies.....2 of his favorite things!

I will hang out with Masen again today & hopefully I will get to work on some stamping stuff while he naps this afternoon.  Tonight Brayden has a ball game & we have races again.
