Catching Butterflies- Side Step Easel card

This little girl makes me think of Spring!!

I just love how this card turned out.

 

I used the Sale-a-bration stamp set called 'Catching Butterflies'.

And check out the marble print DSP.

It is the Simply Marbelous DSP, which is also a Sale-a-bration choice.

Look at the side view of this card standing up.

It is an side-step easel fun fold.

Cool huh!

When this card is laying flat it is the exact measurements are a standard card

that measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" & fits into our Medium Envelopes.

 

How did I do it?

Notice how I added a strip of the Simply Marbelous DSP along the bottom edge.

And I added some of the floating butterflies too!

Isn't she just adorable!

I made them with my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.

Happy Valentines Day with Nuts & Bolts!

I combined the amazing Marbleous DSP with it!

And look at the embossed hearts I added, using the Dotty Hearts Embossing folder.

I added the little black bolts from the Adhesive Backed Hexagons to finish it off!

Gumball Greetings Bundle

OH.......this is so CUTE!

I used the Gumball Greetings Bundle!

 

Check out my adorable gumball machine fun fold card! 

 I used the pastel striped DSP from the Pattern Party 12x12 DSP

that is on page 171 as a hostess rewards choice.

 

Look how the gumballs sparkle- I added some Wink of Stella to them!

 

This is what it looks like opened up.

Notice how I stamped the words over on the left side,

so that they wouldn't show thru when the front flap is down.

Look how I only adhered this bottom flap down with Tear & Tape on the outside edges.

Doing it this way created a pocket!

A little gift like a gift card, cash, small candy- will fit down in it.

Special Moments with Daffodil Afternoon

WOW!!

I love it when you can make such a pretty card with the DSP being the main focus!

This is such a pretty spring card that could be used for any occasion! 

Notice how I layered the words using the Tailored Tag Punch.

You can see below with my Basic Black sample of this. 

 

How did I do it?

Look how I layered the words........

1.  I stamped them onto a 2" strip of Very Vanilla card stock & punch it out

using the Tailored Tag Punch.

2.  I then used Basic Black card stock & punch out 2 Tailored Tag pieces.

 

3.  NOTICE how I cut them using my scissors.

One of them I cut in half vertically.

And one of them I cut in half horizontally.

 

4.  I then layered them behind the words.

 This is what it looks like from the back side when all layered together. 

*NOTE that I did snip off a little bit of the Basic Black card stock 

from each end of the Tailored Tag Punch once I got it layered together.

This way there are even edges all the way around the layered words as shown above.

Rainbow fun fold

that are on page 142 in the Annual Catalog.

 

 I used the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set, 

along with the Sunshine & Rainbow Sale-a-bration DSP.

And how cool is it that these clouds are part of the DSP & can

be perfectly punched out with the Cloud Punch!

Daffodil Afternoon Slimline

 

Check out this pretty slimline card!

I used the Daffodil Afternoon DSP.

This Daffodil Afternoon DSP is a Sale-a-bration choice

that you can get for FREE with a $50 product order.

This Soft Succulent Slimline envelope can be purchased.

It is on page 53 in the Spring Mini.

#157981- Slimline Envelopes= $10.00 

for 15 envelopes- 5 each of 3 colors- Soft Succulent, White & Smoky Slate

 Isn't this so bright, cheery & springy!

NOTE:  I made this card 7 1/2 x 8 1/2"- scoring at 3 3/4" & fold in half for card base.

This size does fit into the slimline envelope, but it is very snug!

If I make another slimline card I will cut it to 7 x 8 1/2"- score at 3 1/2" 

& fold in half for card base,  so that is fits into the Stampin' Up! slimline envelopes better. 

 

How did I do it?

Look how I layered the words........

1.  I stamped them onto a 2" strip of Very Vanilla card stock & punch it out

using the Tailored Tag Punch.

2.  I then used Basic Black card stock & punch out 2 Tailored Tag pieces.

 

3.  NOTICE how I cut them using my scissors.

One of them I cut in half vertically.

And one of them I cut in half horizontally.

 

4.  I then layered them behind the words.

 This is what it looks like from the back side when all layered together.

I used the Flirty Flamingo striped Pattern Party DSP.

Here is a fun fold rainbow card.

 

I used the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP.
